As a Moroccan, I say to you, do not be shy, always ask about prices before you buy food or other things. Ask if you like the price, it is good. If it is expensive, do not buy. You will know all the prices in Morocco, which makes it easier for you to buy. There are some people who want to sell cheap things at a high price. I live in Europe and the same thing happens to me in Morocco, but I first ask about the price. If it suits me, I buy it, and if the price does not suit me, I buy it.
I like how tony got the memo, in Morocco you always negotiate the price even, if i think it was a fair price but always negotiate your price in Morocco
I know it is annoying but the intention of those people is not to harm you but to sell you something and profit from you and sometimes they are pushy, and as a moroccan who lives abroad and visits the country from time to time , I experience the same thing especially in marrakech , I hope you enjoy your stay regaedless .
peoples try to make living dont take it personnel is everywhere try to make money but at least they dont harm you and your family enjoy your stay in moroccooooooooooooooooooooooooo
A small plastic cup of coffee for 20 dirhams is not only expensive. It's premeditated theft ! As a Moroccan, I really hate these scammers, for they discourage tourists to revisit our dear & beautiful country 😢
Just tell them it’s for tomorrow not today… best if you have local friends… it’s very easy to make friends in Morocco… taxi drivers almost always have connections…
I just found you guys. Are you still going to be in Morocco in a few days? My daughter and my niece and her son will be in Morocco the 18th. I can’t wait. In your intro you say you and your wife now work from home. Do you mind sharing what you guys do? It’s my dream to work and travel
You should NOT have bought that tea from that walking vendor, it costs like 1 DH and no one actually buys it even for that price anyway, you bought it for 20 man, next time ask
an advice for you man, next time wherever you go in Morocco, if you're buying coffee from the streets don't pay more than 7 dirhams, let's say don't pay more than 1 dollar if you're generous, 20 for one cup of coffee outside or even tea is expensive. you'll pay 20 dirhams for a coffee in a classy place only, in normal coffee shops you'll pay from 8 to 13 dirhams, I hope you see this comment so you be careful next time.

You always mention in your videos that you are a boxer! I hope that you are not in Morocco for a fight because surely Morocco is full of kickboxers and in actual fact the best ones like Badr Hari, but hey if you respect the locals they will definitely respect you and help you on top of that, and that applies to everywhere else.
