I did not forget! I have been doing this for some time and it is well known where I am from that those clips tend to cause rattles not reduce them! There is no harm in leaving them out and the customer is still very pleased with the service and has had no issues. Thank you for your keen eye!
yes, nice video however you didn't show the master cylinder levels in regard to how much wear and the comparison to the old pads. This installation show what most shops do which is to clean those clips for the pads the other is those pair of wire springs was not used because these pads aren't oem. Toyota original equipment last longer and hold up better. I did rotors on 2005 Camry, 2009 Venza, 2010 Siena and 2019 rav4 someone mentioned rear parking brakes when done right they are a piece of cake. last the product you are using it would be nice to see the items label used. I only use silicon lubricant for caliper pins they don't damage the rubber boots. let's see that next video for the rear brakes
We find that a lot of the vehicles produced in 2020 and 2021 coming from Toyota, Volvo, and Hyundai in particular seem to have very bad brakes from the factory that have been wearing out prematurely. Particularly rears, although on vehicles with regenerative braking it makes sense the rears would deteriorate faster. The good news seems to be that the high quality brake parts we use to replace them are holding up to the test of time! No callbacks on any brake service our company has ever performed to this day.
Hi thank you for your feedback! I didn’t include a part of the video where I placed them, but I had the rear tires chalked for the duration of the repair, if you pause the video in certain spots you can even see them poking out behind the tire. Hope that helps! 😊
Getting ready to replace my 2021 Highlander V6 brakes. This was a great refresher thank you.
Great video this helped me with my Toyota!
So did you have to put it in brake repair node???
you forgot the wire anti-rattle "springs" before reinstalling the caliper?

Any estimate on how many miles the vehicle had?
Do you have e a video on how to replace coolant in a 2020 Highlander ?
I do not yet! Thank you for the suggestion however! I wish you the best of luck
True wrench…used the same rag to wipe your head as the rotors…I like it.
Didn't even realize!
It helped me to turn the wheel to the the caliper off
I am very surprised that they had to replace the pads so early on a hybrid.

You didn’t show caliper procedure
You're right I am sorry! I will do better on the next video so make sure to subscribe!
What size wrench is the calipers ?
14mm for the calipers, 17mm for the mounting bracket.
You have the rear brake rotor replacement ?
For starters...where are the chalks on the rear tires?

it's CHOCKS my friend
Good one. Small town rent-a-cops "chalk" tires to see when you occupy a parking spot for too long.
@@HARRUMPH-SAL I didn't know that! Good to know!
