Thank you so much for sharing this with us. It must have been very difficult. You do a wonderful job with the dogs, but it is after all a huge commitment financially. I have had had 8 dogs, now down to 3, but over time the cost of looking after many dogs, health issues, decent food, unexpected expenses, is huge. It is quite clear that you need a consistent money stream because your expenses need to be covered monthly. I wish you the very best in finding the right way forward to make sure that The Farm continues to be well funded. Like many others, I am addicted to The Farm....I watch old episodes when I am feeling down or bored. As a dog lover myself and as a fellow (very small scale ) rescuer, I fully understand where you guys are coming from. Wishing you the very best!
Me too, I found the The Farm/Doggie Day Care during the first UK lockdown and it has been so wonderful especially last year when my OH was in hospital for 4 years. It has been an amazing journey for Sam & Luke and love how much they have shared of their lives. But as they say family first!!! I've been worried about y'all for a while and I'm happy the family is okay. Y'all are doing very special work. Honestly, I don't know how they do it all, especially as there are so many behind the scenes jobs, that we don't see. The maintenance of the the grounds & property, is a full time job in it's self? I am amazed at their dedication & stamina!

I just want to hold this family, 2 & 4 legged, close to my heart and protect them. They are such incredible people. I can’t for the life of me understand why their channel has not exploded with followers!! When I see what others are putting out there, and that they have hundreds of thousands, millions of followers, and really don’t put out anything comparable in quality to what Luke & Sam are doing…something is off. It’s very strange. It makes me wonder about how those other channels are REALLY getting their numbers…

I wonder if there are other factors that contribute to their successful exposure ? Some use tactics, that are very strategic & deliberate & many consider those options as maybe underhand, deceptive, & contrived, etc? There are thousands of channels that have been very successful using a similar modus operandi? I don't understand it & seems unfair. The Farms overheads must be huge & their vet & food bills, enormous, & without running the d.d.c. they are no longer bringing in revenue to offset their overheads. Honestly, I do worry about them, which, as you stated, is a phenomenal situation, as they are total strangers, who live on the other side of the world! Yes, liking and commenting helps (if available). Definitely letting the ads play out till their end is very important. That's what gives them the revenue. You don't have to watch the ads but they have to play out completely, so no hitting the 'skip adds' tab that comes up. I just put the phone down and go get a cuppa while the ads play 😊

Thank you so much for sharing this with us. It must have been very difficult. You do a wonderful job with the dogs, but it is after all a huge commitment financially. I have had had 8 dogs, now down to 3, but over time the cost of looking after many dogs, health issues, decent food, unexpected expenses, is huge. It is quite clear that you need a consistent money stream because your expenses need to be covered monthly. I wish you the very best in finding the right way forward to make sure that The Farm continues to be well funded. Like many others, I am addicted to The Farm....I watch old episodes when I am feeling down or bored. As a dog lover myself and as a fellow (very small scale ) rescuer, I fully understand where you guys are coming from. Wishing you the very best!
Me too, I found the The Farm/Doggie Day Care during the first UK lockdown and it has been so wonderful especially last year when my OH was in hospital for 4 years. It has been an amazing journey for Sam & Luke and love how much they have shared of their lives. But as they say family first!!! Once I am financially stable myself, I want to become a member; so all the very best to you Luke & Sam and your lovely family 2 legged & 4 legged. I've been worried about y'all for a while and I'm happy the family is okay. Y'all are doing very special work. Helping children and animals is something dear to my heart and the Farm and all its creatures, big and small are dear to my heart, too. I'm sure the expense is tremendous. We only have a dog, a puppy, and three cats, and it is not inexpensive at all.

I don’t “know “ these people, live oceans apart, and yet due to our common love for animals, especially those who need our human help, and how they have shared their journey with us while they do this, I have come to care about them as I do my own friends, feel so much joy watching their dogs & cats, and seeing the kids growing into such wonderful little people. I just want to hold this family, 2 & 4 legged, close to my heart and protect them. They are such incredible people. I can’t for the life of me understand why their channel has not exploded with followers!! When I see what others are putting out there, and that they have hundreds of thousands, millions of followers, and really don’t put out anything comparable in quality to what Luke & Sam are doing…something is off. It’s very strange. It makes me wonder about how those other channels are REALLY getting their numbers…

I too, cannot understand why their channel hasn't gone viral, or gained a big following of at least, a couple of hundred thousand subscribers & millions of views? I have watched so many channels that have gained huge "traction", showing quite run of the mill antics of their pets, so I don't understand it? I wonder if there are other factors that contribute to their successful exposure ? Some use tactics, that are very strategic & deliberate & many consider those options as maybe underhand, deceptive, & contrived, etc? But I don't know if suggesting other tactics & ideas, to Luke & Sam, would be helpful, as it could just add more pressure? I wouldn't dare to suggest that I know better than L & S & their situation? But I do know that they wouldn't want to do anything, that wasn't a pure representation of their morals & values, etc. I never understood the success of "grumpy cat", who didn't really do anything, except he had a slight facial oddity? There are thousands of channels that have been very successful using a similar modus operandi? I don't understand it & seems unfair. The Farms overheads must be huge & their vet & food bills, enormous, & without running the d.d.c. they are no longer bringing in revenue to offset their overheads.
Honestly, I do worry about them, which, as you stated, is a phenomenal situation, as they are total strangers, who live on the other side of the world! Yes, liking and commenting helps (if available). Definitely letting the ads play out till their end is very important. That's what gives them the revenue. You don't have to watch the ads but they have to play out completely, so no hitting the 'skip adds' tab that comes up. I just put the phone down and go get a cuppa while the ads play 😊
