• Wolf (1994) - Ending S...
The ending for the movie "Wolf". Trippy ending! Some say that the bad guy bit her so now she's a wolf, or that Jack bit her so now she's a wolf, OR she was a wolf all along and that SHE was the one that bit Jack in the beginning. Personally I just don't know, but I'd like it to be the more poetic 3rd one.
I thought it was cool how the camera zooms out while she walks away so I started the video from there. It seems to be a way of backing out so we can put her center stage and observe, like something's odd with her, which there is. But here's where it's stuck. After that it zooms into her eyes, literally leveling with the audience eye to eye to reveal the twist, which to me and obviously alot of people it never does. I see no other reason for all that lingering on the eyes and wolf imagery than the film trying its butt off the show the twist in a kind of subliminal way. It seems like the scene failed in doing that. OR, since this is very much a love story, the scene could be continuing the earlier melodrama and trying to be enigmatic, which then it's fine, but not satisfactory!!!
I love how her eyes slowly changed to lupine yellow you know she will be joining Will soon and the way she was smiling you can tell that she's looking forward to it.

Yes she is

Catspaw I know. She’s about to become a permanent wolf too. The human embryos in her womb are going to turn into permanent baby wolf pups.
@@hannahgaming425 She needs her mate and we all know wolves mate for life.
If I remember right she is a bit crazy in this movie so yeah she wants to be a wolf
This movie a Classic
First, she was a hawk in love with a wolf....then a Cat in love with a bat...and finally, a wolf in love with a wolf. ❤️
Yeah, I made this point somewhere else. Great minds
What's the first movie

This scene is a masterpiece everything about it the setting, music, build up to Will's full transformation and of course the final shot of the stunning Michelle Pfeiffer it's criminal how underrated this film is.
Yeah this movie is a huge part of my childhood I miss the 90s.
Tribute to this movie ruclips.net/video/0AyZ_WSCstY/видео.html
Funny, because I thought this scene was shoddily done. But to each his own, I guess.
I love how the final moments of the film fade to black, and all you can see are her glowing yellow eyes. That scene sears her eyes into my mind. Such an interesting and memorable way to end a film.
Michelle Pfeiffer is legendary for her stunning look. To top that, she's an amazing, talented actress. A true movie star!
The look in the eyes and the half smile says it all "see you soon will"
love the chemistry between Jack and Michelle, one of my favorite wolf like movies
I always thought these movies are so unbelievable. Till this one. Not only believe able But romantic and it actually makes sense. The logic behind it is buyable, this is a classic by all means. The touch of the shaman/doc/professor. Brilliant! I appreciate the fact that it was not loaded with gore . Michelle Pfeiffer performance was spot on. Jacks transformation through out the movie should have won best FX award! And I bought the fact that she could of been the wolf that bit him in the first place.
I just bought this movie on dvd today and I must say it is worth every penny I put down. I enjoyed it and despite how it seems, I think this ending isn't all bad. Sure, Will does turn into a wolf at the end, but we see that Laura is also becoming a wolf as well and I believe that in the end, they will be reunited together as wolves. Anyway, very good movie and one of the best werewolf movies you'll find out there.
I think that Laura was the wolf in the beginning who bit him. This is why she chose to draw closer to him, etc. She revealed her true self in the end. Also explains her wild rebellious ways...
M Sing ok. That’s how I felt about the movie. She was the wolf and she wanted him so she bit him and been manipulating from beginning
No..She slowly became a wolf after being intimate with Will falling in love . Guy in the movie told will dont have to be bitten but just the Wolf Passion is enough .
I don’t think so. Horses were terrified of wolves so she wouldn’t have been able to continue riding her horses if she was a wolf already..
@@davidmajuru653
She fell off the horse
@@brandyw.7943 but because of Will, the horse wasn't afraid of Laura
i love this movie i find it funny that Jack Nicholson & Michelle Pfeiffer both played Batman's enemies
And both actors performed in Witches of Eastwick
And Jack and Danny DeVito played best friends in Hoffa. And Arnold and Danny DeVito were twin brothers in Twins! And Danny DeVito played Jim Carrey's manager in Man on the Moon. Uma Thurman and Tommy Lee Jones are left out of the expanded villain universe ( think)
@@menbehindthesweaters i agree
Probably had the same agent, or perhaps WB had a hand in that.
Iconic Batman enemies at that
The music is so good in this movie. The romantic jazzy noir with the scifi synth music invading it almost.
The ending IMO is to show the love that has grown between the two of them. It is the beginning of a supernatual love story when they've both become something supernatural. The camera runs into the forest at 0:55 and stops at Randall who has now fully transformed into a werewolf. And he howls to signify his birth as a werewolf and to call her to join him as his mate in this new existence. The sequencer fading in and out compliments the scene with a "dangerous love" feeling. Sequel should be made.
People who think the young actresses are beautiful today had no idea how beautiful Michelle was.
Shes a perfect 10. Maybe only Angelina jolie comes close. The rest are way behind.
true ..but well she played many roles where she was supposed to look like a cat or a bird or a wolf ....and the cinematographer helped her ...so did the make up etc ...and how she holds her face ..but yes she is beautiful
What a weird thing to say; many beautiful actors and actresses walk this planet
Supreme Classic Hollywood Starlet eyes. Forget "Betty Davis eyes", we want Michelle Pfeiffer's eyes 👀
FUCK BETTY DAVIS EYES 🖕AND FUCK YOU TOO! I DON'T GIVE A FUCK WHO YOU LIKE, I THINK YOUR HERO SUCKS AND YOU DO TOO🖕
Always loved the music at the end, has a romantic undertone to it. Although she's walking, 0:53 always made me feel like she was in the car, driving down a quiet road. I'm not sure where she's going, but just driving, waiting for her transformation after which, she will join Will in the woods. Will's transformation feels sad because it was his last night as a human, it's like he never got to say goodbye to his humanity, he just ran off and then transformed.
I agree! I believe she was transformed by Will when they were intimate and this scene is her first realization of it and 'wolf-out' - as I like to call it!
Also she was to be reunited with Will soon.
Damn, The Joker and The Catwoman lived happily ever after...
The Devil and Witch lived happily ever after too. Remember The Witches of Eastwick.
She is so pretty in this scene 💋
From the 70's to now she has been very easy on the eyes. I find it interesting how diverse her career has been, she didn't let her self get type cast like many others of her era.
She still looks good now in her age middle age years
@@2KILLAVILLE I agree she never ages tbh.
@@2KILLAVILLE I think she is in her 60's... hard to believe. And she has not had plastic surgery. God was showing off when he made her

how did she became a wolf
@@yeahthatsme921 watch the movie. The answer came earlier. One of the ways to become a wolf was to fall in love with one.
What a great ending ... great dialogue, casting, score & soundtrack.
This scene convinced me that with those cheek bones and that smile she would have made a great Maleficent.
The Jack Nicholson howling wolf at the end appears to be the same puppet they used for Gmork in Neverending Story.
OMG LOL!
The other one in neverending story wasn't as fat in the face

Guys = to all those wondering about her becoming a wolf at the end - please see the movie again. When Jack N. goes to see Dr. Alazius the Doctor tells him that a wolf can transform you by a bite or by passion and asks him tpo bite him becouse he obviously can"t transform him by passion.
Jack did transform Michelle with his passion - end of story - and they lived happlily ever after.... aaaaaoooo
My God!!! MICHELLE IS AMAZING, HER LOOK, ONLY SHE COULD DO THIS!!!
Fun fact: Pfeiffer has turned down more big roles than anyone in Hollywood. Roles that literally created the careers of many other actresses.
That's not really a good thing since a lot of those actresses aren't good

Happy 29th Anniversary "WOLF" (JUNE 17, 1994)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE WEREWOLVES SO MUCH 💙💚🧡❤️💓💕🐺🐾🐺
The infection of Laura Alden (Michelle Pfeiffer) does not come from a bite, but from the combination of two things. One is most likely the transmission during romance, and the other being, as stated in this movie, a wolf-like aspect of a person's character. In contrast, Will's wife Charlotte (Kate Nelligan), who apparently did not sleep with Will after his infection, is not infected by Stewart despite their affair. This is most likely because the second element is missing. She is more of a sheep and does not have the innate element of aggression.
Yep,. That's true,.
His wife slept with him after infection.
That's because Stewart killed Charlotte.
Lol
but remember charlotte slept with Will once-after his metamorphosis started to take place..
One of my favorite movies of all time. I love how she reveals she's a werewolf at the end.
Oh and I looooooooove Michelle's eyes. In real life, they are somewhat cat-like and I think she is just so incredibly beautiful. Her eyes are just goddess like.
One of the few werewolf films where the wolf isn't killed
The other sign that the filmmakers use to show that Michelle has only recently been turned into a wolf is through the motif of smell; when she smells the liquor on the detective, the lines are reminiscent of Jack's when the same thing happens to him a few days after he is bitten.
Also , the doctors said the passion of the war isn't enough to have a transformation so I think she was passionate as well
I think that she just started the whole cycle of changing into a wolf, only Jack didn't have to bite her to infect her. Remember when he visited that mystic who told him how some people were more wolfish than others, and that sometimes one doesn't have to be bitten, only the "passion" of the wolf is enough. I think Jack infected her with his love for her.
I love her eyes
even though they're uneven?

As I remember, according to the film's premise, one could become a Werewolf either by being bitten, or through the "Wolfs' offering his Passion" -I believe that is the fourth possibilty here, regarding Michelle's character becoming a Werewolf, and that it is the correct one, in that it seems to follow the storyline best.
She turns into a wolf because she had a passionate love affair with him.
You should have passion to be wolf.
The Wolf really was her at the beginning and she bit Jack her boyfriend out of love
Wow makes u think
That's not it. The gypsy doctor he visits earlier on in the movie states that sometimes one doesn't even need to be bitten to change. That only the passion of the wolf is enough. That's what is changing her.
Also, in this mythology, once they change into full wolf form, there's no turning back. It couldn't have been her at the beginning of the movie.
Lol..she slowly became a wolf after making love with Will
@@bobw1811 no, she and her father are werewolves. she bit him to turn him into a werewolf. she chose him.
@@baneblackguard584 She might've been a pure-blood werewolf with the ability to maintain her human form and change to a wolf at will. She didn't want to give any hints that she was the Wolf, so she acted weak and defenseless.
My God, Michelle has stunning eyes!
Yes they are beyond beautiful !
ennio morricone is so talented
I have been looking for this damn movie forever!!! This is the only scene I’ve seen (I caught the end on tv) but I never knew who the actress was or what the movie was called. I was born the year the movie came out so I assume I was fairly young when I caught it on tv. I was so excited when I found it!
It's a very good film and is one of my personal favorites. I hope you get a chance to watch it in its entirety.
Heh I was born a year before this movie aired.
the music in this movie is simply amazing
Probably one the best sexy haunting scenes of the whole movie. Michelle and Jake's performance amazing and in the end she becomes a wolf and she knows that he is waiting for her. 🐺🐺🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
I know that is true love.
Michelle Pfeiffer. One of a kind.
This ending scene opens up so many theories. Did Michelle Pfeifer get bitten at the end, or was she the wolf than bit Jack Nicholson in the first place and somehow lost her powers in the process.
They had sex,I think that's what did it.
As the old man Vijay said you should have the passion to be wolf. As Laura had intercourse with Will she is gradually becoming wolf.
the solo guitar is wonderful
I think Pfeiffer's eyes at 1:34 are featured in the "Mind In The Eyes" test. The emotion is "desire", BTW.
@ghostlindsay Im gunna put to rest the theories of those fans, Michelle Pfieffer fell in love with jack nicholson, therefore there was a passion. Remember the tribal doctor? "Since i cannot ask you to transform me with your passion, I will ask that you bite me...." She fell in love, and the passion turned her.
She cannot be the "main werewolf" because she didnt belive in werewolves, Canine DNA in charlotte randal's body startled her, Stuart as a werewolf scared the shit out of her, ect.
Beautiful ending.
I know.
I think it's what "vampcat24" said up there. That you don't have to get BITTEN, you can have the PASSION of a wolf and you will become one.
Exactly! The old man told Jack that bit of info.
Michelle so gorgeous,I had know idea she was a wolf to,but how

Love this scene.... she is incredible gorgeous
Yhank you for posting, much appreciated. You fail with your analysis because you leave away the most important factor here: Emotional intelligence. This scene signals the transcending into what most ahem every human being deep inside needs but doesn`t have. The salvation from the many shortcomings and limitations of soleley "school logic" and greed. The transcending into what contains eternal, unconditional reward, transcending even death, setting the soul free and alive. It`s called...true love
"Join me, mate. We'll run together, forever."

Maybe I am romancing it (and I only watched the movie a quarter of a century ago), but I seem to remember that you can become a wolf either by being bitten or by falling in love with a wolf... ❤️
there's no reason to thumbs down. wolves eat trolls!
After Stewart attacks her they camera slightly does a close up to a minor cut in her hand and than she puts her hand on Randall's.
I've just watched it on HBO.I only came here cuz I'm stunned with her beautiful eyes
this alongside Chucky were the 2 scariest movies i ever seen when i was a kid
CHucky! HA. I love it. I forgot about that one. I laughed my way through that one.
I'm being to think that maybe she was a wolf the entire time and that she is was the one that bit him in the beginning.
Honestly could be true
Evan Rhone never thought of that but your right.
I kinda believe that.
I thought so from the outset. That's why she felt nearly obligated to protect and defend him each time the cops etc. got involved. It's such a great love story!!
She wasn't a wolf the entire time. The gypsy doctor he visits earlier on in the movie tells him that sometimes a person doesn't even need to be bitten to change, that only the passion of the wolf is enough. That's what this scene represents, her passion for him is changing her.

So Jack Nicholson's character have the ability to change back to human form? Or was he permanently stuck as a wolf and it is implied that she will join him under the same circumstances?
The ending always made me sad! :(

I haven't seen this movie in some time. It's rather good
The music though 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 they stopped making authentic movies like this a long tome ago...
Her being the main wolf that bit JN doesn't seem to work for me, her attitude about things and they way she reacted to him being a wolf seemed to me that she was in shock about the fact that one man could actually become a wolf. The end confrontation also supports that she really is afraid, especially when she sees the grounds keeper killed, if she was a wolf already, she would be brave enough to fight the other from the get go!
The music 🎶🎵 is amazing! Cast amazing! Awesome ending! Truly a beautiful ❤️ movie 🎥
She's wolf because they had sex. He shared genetics. Being bitten isn't the only way

This movie is not very good, in my opinion, but this ending is unreasonably beautiful, one of my favorite pieces of cinema
One of my favorite movies the perfect combo of supernatural and film noir. Love me some Jack Nicholson and Michelle Pfeiffer
Those eyes God!
A great movie 🌙 🐺
I am rewatching this as I type and it's like my 5th or 6th time since it came out in 1994, but I must say I never noticed the wolf pack in the woods after Jack was bitten on the road.
I love this movie. And this ending is so sad , but kinda cool at the same time
She has spooky eyes. And they change colour, from blue to green..
I have watched this movie several times and this is the first time I considered that she was the wolf that bit Will Randall (Jack's character) originally. Her acting shocked at him could simply be that she, like Will, did not remember much after they changed to human form. The horses not reacting to her could be similar to the horses calming down when Will was restrained with the amulet around his neck after awhile.
well some fans say that she's the MAIN wolf and so has alot of control over it...or some shit.
I think you are right
No she didnt become a wolf until the end..Slowly turned after Her & Will made love
If i remember correctly they shapeshifted to wolves and went wild :D
Laura and Will are becoming parents to the wolf puppies
Yeah I can see that happening.
