Hey bud, just found your channel. Awesome video! I just bought a 2004 IS300 Sport Design II with only 62000KM I'm in Canada! one woman owner and she babied it! It is a GEM! The car is 100% stock and I can't wait to do my first mods! Turbo to come eventually ; ) Peace bro!
I'm glad you found us! :D That's amazing! It's awesome to find cars that you know (or atleast hope) were well maintained and not abused, What do you plan to do first? I'd love to see it!
@@Brakenex at 3:03 what is that solenoid connected to the air box i’m trying to find 1 cause the is300 i bought didn’t have 1 and i can’t find the name of it or what it is
@@Brakenex i already bought that and it didn’t fit and i made sure it was for the 02 is 300 and i bought a purge valve to and that wasn’t it i have no idea
I appreciate that so much! Hell yeah man! Car is currently down, the R154 is having some issues that I'm waiting to get sorted out and then I'll be back to making more is300 content!
did you have any issues with your throttle body or any sensors after installing this i recently installed pretty much the same one you did just chrome and it gave ma tons of issues with my throttle body sensors then went back to the stock intake and havnt had any issues since
I actually did, it would drive fine for a day or so then throw a check engine code and then throttle response would be weird, and sputter sometimes. I figured there was no way in hell it was the intake (LONG LONG story short) I spent like 700$ fixing/replacing sensors, o2 sensors, fuel pump, random odds and ends, then eventually just put the stock air box back on and no issues
Hey bro I’m doing the same setup on my is for the short but I’m having trouble with the solenoid attachment my bracket won’t go into the bolt that sticks out of the abs module how’d you put it on cuz once that’s crushed I’m pretty much done
Hey! Sorry for the super late reply! If memory serves me correctly, I think they give you a replacement bolt that's longer? Or unless its the bracket part you're talking about in which case, the bracket extends and gives you a new mounting location (I actually got hung up on that part for a few minutes)
I personally ordered off of Enjuku's website (I think they had the best deal at the time) but right now it's out of stock. You can order directly through HPS though! :D
@@Mr.grubby That's awesome! A lot of places have had trouble being able to work with distributors due to this whole coronavirus thing, especially since most thing come from overseas :( On the bright side, we have something really cool coming for the Lexus!
