this is why they put the smoke bombs on the wing tips, no smoke on the fuselage, and they don't use black, and they are very small about 3/4 of an inch and a variety of colors. lots of luck you guys. ron
Years ago when we used to use Jetex motors a piece of asbestos sheet was placed behind the motor tostop burning the airframe,but we all know today the health dangers of this material today that killed off a few garage mechanics inhaling the dust from brake shoes,the lipo should add nicely to the burning effect ! no nandy pandies here just blow it up good and proper and be done with it,give the emergency services something to work on courtesy of RC Geeks,very effective smoke and nicely flown too in that gale,I bet you guys have difficulty flying in flat calm ?
How bloody irresponsible of you to deliberately endanger the peaceful populace of Hayling Is by intentionally inviting a holocaust of such epic proportions that can happen when a seemingly small and innocent Lipo battery explodes into a massive fireball. It will be total carnage for an area of at least 10 square feet. This could well mean the end of civilisation as we know it. Seriously, I've had a 4S 2200 go up in flames in my garage and it only scorched the walls but it was impressive. Please take steps to make sure no seagulls are injured. Have fun fellas.

Wouldnt it be wiser to angle the smoke canister downward away from the belly of the fuse???

Smoke worked well, heat shielding not so much...next trick is to hit what you are supposed to on the ground, its harder than it looks.
