The pyro fuse has gone on the M3 that's why it doesn't start. When any airbag goes on most modern cars they have a fuse that cuts power to the starter of the engine to prevent any further damage. It shouldn't be too much to get engine started. Hope this helps!
Ex-copart customer here. They don't let you view. Then you come to realise the car is not as described, they refuse to rectify the situation and try to use every excuse to try and make you feel you are responsible for their false description. Avoid. Sued them in the end and got my money back.

Can't wait for part 2. I just stumbled on the channel this morning via the s type jag and can see that we are going to be spending a lot of time together as you're doing something the average man could have a go at unlike the channels you mention in this vid. Good work fella. It's nice to find someone who likes to live in the real world.
Hey Nino, I’m halfway through the mini series and I just wanted to say that you have put a ton of effort into each and every video of yours. Thank you for your great content and it’s not long till you’ll be at 100k subs. All the best
Fair play! Looking forward to this one, looks like a windscreen, bonnet, wing, interior deep clean/repair, external paint correction/polish and a damn good service. I'd go all in on this one and make it a six part series. Get the windscreen new but you should be able to source a good condition wing and bonnet in the correct colour given a bit patience and perseverance. Best of luck with it!!!
This Range rover will be your 'Cadillac in the field moment', mark my words. The Cadillac in the field was what sparked a growth for Derek, at vice grip garage. 😊 Kudos, mate! Keep it up. We're with you!
Shame that Crap part doesn't treat us collection/transport drivers with the same respect. They seem to forget we ARE ALSO CUSTOMERS as they leave us sitting around for ages waiting to be loaded while 'favorites' push in even though we are booked in with an app. Still don't expect much else from Yanks...
Hello Nino, I am watching your videos from Canada. I'm not a mechanic at all and do not attempt my own repairs. I really am enjoying your videos and thinks it great you take on such mighty projects. Hope you do more in the future.
Hi Nino, just fellow upon your channel by accident trying to get some info on Mini repairs. Ended up binge watching loads of your videos for 4 hours. Love your content, keeping it real with some humour thrown in. I have loved seeing the old cars getting a new lease of life. Keep the videos coming.

Nino, Range Rovers are nice looking and they are good to drive but I absolutely hate working on them, surprises me you went for one as they are a pig to work on in a workshop with a lift let alone on the mud under a gazebo. Apparently 5200 Range Rovers were stolen last year....and this year has been no better. A friends sister has been quoted on renewal of her insurance £9700 !!! She was told this pretty average , some areas are significantly higher....
My best deal was in 2002 I was looking for an Alfa 166 2.5 24v , for my new wife's first car was group 19 insurance on a new driver , a new one was £30,000 at the time , and there were no SH ones , a few weeks later I saw one in a garage 3 years old 29,000 miles at £9000 ... Bit the salesman's arm off ,someone had paid £ 21000 in depreciation in 3 years
Always important to option the 'Christmas lights' dash package where many and various warning lamps endlessly entertain and amuse you on those few occasions when the car actually starts and will ensure a long and rewarding (although costly) relationship with a local specialist.
Love the videos mate, I’m also a chelmsfordian😂 love to take you for a spin in my f430 or 911 when the weather improves…respect for the top shelf videos
Quite the project! I really liked that Jag Super, 60 in under 5 seconds, it`d give the BM a run for its money for a tiny fraction of the price! Do you know what it went for?
I had the 2002 hse nice cars I have a 2019 vogue 3.0td now can’t wait to see what you do with it maybe buy a rear end damage for parts should be very cheap in colour good luck
Actually bought 3 from copart this last year, think I’m matching you for a bunch of cars parked out front taking up space! Never have I filmed anything though, hardly even take pictures when I really get stuck in… I’ve met that lady a couple times, very funny.
@@NotEconomicallyViable from what I can see it was a good one before the damage and that V8 engine sounds like it's supposed to. With the S type and this land-rover you might brake even!
Nice little Rangie that and a bit of a steal for £1500. Should be good with new bonnet, wing and windscreen - even better if you can find them from a breaker in the same colour.
I've said it before and i'll say it again.. Copart literally makes no sense financially.. I'm guessing this Rangerover was around £2k with fees and you could likely buy one without all this damage for around the same price off facebook marketplace
My experience so far is that it's preferable to buy a crash-damaged car from Copart than it is to buy the cheapest 'working' version from eBay. The reason for this is that with a crash-damaged car you know it was working at the time of the accident and the reason it's been parked up is because of the damage. It's very unlikely they were driving around with a broken gearbox and had just cleared the codes from the ecu to hide stuff at the time of the crash. The cheapest cars from eBay have all sorts of hidden horrors that people 'forget' to mention just so they can get the car gone.
Wow that RR sounded amazing and someone bought a bargain half the price, I love these big RR ( I own a evoque ) and would love one for myself so the wife can have the evoque for herself. I actually prefer the older models
I've had 5 Land Rovers and Range Rovers. Spend less and find yourself a VERY GOOD EXAMPLE of a P38 4.6HSE/ VOGUE / WESTMINSTER/ VOGUE SE / AUTOBIOGRAPHY / HOLLAND & HOLLAND.......Yes it'll have problems, but it's such a pride to own at just a fraction of the cost of the more recent ones.
Hi ! I recently subscribed to your channel and I'm really enjoying your videos. I saw you at the NEC Classic with your good lady. I wanted to say hello but I didn't cos I didn't want to come over as a complete nerd . Look forward to future videos. Thanks
Avoid ,,your never afford the insurance ,,,,look at it this way put £100,000 out side your house tell folk walking past to take 100 a quid a day of it ,that's what your going to lose maybe more 😮

Always important to option the 'Christmas lights' dash package where many and various warning lamps endlessly entertain and amuse you on those few occasions when the car actually starts and will ensure a long and rewarding (although costly) relationship with a local specialist.
Hahaha maybe I shouldn't drive this car until January when the Christmas lights go back away
Good buy nino.. You'll soon have that rangie sorted out pal 👍 😊
Cant wait till the Rovers sorted or the zephyr/zodiac video's are out..😊
Love the videos mate, I’m also a chelmsfordian😂 love to take you for a spin in my f430 or 911 when the weather improves…respect for the top shelf videos
I love these videos - only just came across yours - More please
Own a 2009 Range Rover 3.6TDV8 Westminster myself! Best car I have ever owned in can’t bring myself to sell it! Even tho it is getting old now!
How has it been reliability-wise?
Great! had to replace the rocker cover gasket as it had a small leak but that’s it so far had it 3 years or so now.
Actually bought 3 from copart this last year, think I’m matching you for a bunch of cars parked out front taking up space! Never have I filmed anything though, hardly even take pictures when I really get stuck in… I’ve met that lady a couple times, very funny.
I can tell you now that filming it makes everything take ten times longer lol. Yeah she was a joker
I think you got a very good deal. Engine seems sound. On its own it has value
BMWs especially m-cars are technologically tricky electrically....a good BMW tech should know it's peculiarities (ecu can be difficult to 'crack'..
It's a fixer uper for small money. Loads of parts are available for this style of Range Rover. Just don't over pay for them.
Yeah been looking at parts and they're plentiful and cheap, which is a relief as I know what these cars are like reliability-wise!
@@NotEconomicallyViable from what I can see it was a good one before the damage and that V8 engine sounds like it's supposed to. With the S type and this land-rover you might brake even!
The good thing about buying a crash-damaged car is that it must have been working fine before the crash!
You can’t view? Then that’s a big no from me.
Apparently you used to be able to before covid
No worries mate. Could have been worse. What could possibly go wrong 👍
Nice little Rangie that and a bit of a steal for £1500. Should be good with new bonnet, wing and windscreen - even better if you can find them from a breaker in the same colour.
Yeah that's the plan. Not a particularly rare colour, so shouldn't be too difficult 👍
I've said it before and i'll say it again.. Copart literally makes no sense financially.. I'm guessing this Rangerover was around £2k with fees and you could likely buy one without all this damage for around the same price off facebook marketplace
I’d highly doubt that George, the basement price for these is in the 5k range at a minimum.
Cheap car, love to see what one of those car buying sites would offer. Bet you'd still make a good profit. 👍
This is one series I'm really going to enjoy 😉
Proper enjoyable vid 👌
Down to earth genuine
Appreciate that mate
If the air bags have gone off in the bmw it’s more than likely the pyrotechnics fuse has blown cutting power to the starter
Loved this one. Can’t wait for the work to start on this beast
I'd love a Holland & Holland - pure class
Hi ! I recently subscribed to your channel and I'm really enjoying your videos. I saw you at the NEC Classic with your good lady. I wanted to say hello but I didn't cos I didn't want to come over as a complete nerd . Look forward to future videos. Thanks
Ahh you should have said hello! I don't bite lol
Avoid ,,your never afford the insurance ,,,,look at it this way put £100,000 out side your house tell folk walking past to take 100 a quid a day of it ,that's what your going to lose maybe more 😮
Just needs a new set of reg plates and a good valet, by the first looks at it
You are a very courageous man. ❤
Or stupid? haha
@@NotEconomicallyViable no :) 'motivated'.
Haha 👍
Loving this, golden age of LR in my view... Excited for an update on the RS6 tho 👌🏻
RS6 update coming soon!
@@NotEconomicallyViable keep up the great work Nino, to driveway tinkering 🤙🏻
Land Rovers are like dogs. You'll love them but their expensive dogs but it's your dog so its worth it
Spent the last couple days thinking about buying one of these so can't wait for next video
Same model as Clarkson and Harry Metcalf from Harry's Garage and they really rated them 😊
I watched that video - it's part of what inspired me to buy this one!
wow your so easy to watch as a mechanic no false act attitude what so ever.interesting price to join compart how much were the fees ontop of the 1500? and optional delivery fee?
Thanks, bud. With fees and delivery it came is just under £2,000
Final price was £1500, but does Copart put a fee on top?
Looking forward to seeing this build.
You've done it, you've just bought Naomi's new daily. She'll never let it go if you fix it up as good as you did the rest.
Yeah, she's already claiming it as hers haha
Your having a coffee and i see a Mk 3 Zodiac behind you a great car.
