I don't have twitter.. any other way of obtaining a key from you?! Would absolutely love one! Man I am excited for this title. Hopefully give some of those memorable DMZ like moments. I am happy to see it has actual good loot to acquire and try to get out, something DMZ was missing. As for the Hero abilities, I think there's a fine line they'll have to walk with them. For starters, they could increase the cooldown on them which would certainly help as that would force players to make tactical decisions on when to use them.
@@Extremeties some creators are able to giveaway keys on Facebook. I'm also pretty sure there will be twitch drops when the alpha goes live, I believe if you watch one hour of twitch you'll get a key but not 100% on that yet. Sorry I can't be of more help I only have keys to give through twitter 😔. Agree with your thoughts on abilities!
The game is designed in a way that playing solo vs squads will be close to impossible. Free recon abilities on relatively short cooldown, slow movement, small maps with many chokepoints. TTK and permadeath are OK, but it will be hard for this mode to attract solo players without dedicated solo matchmaking.
You’ve got it all wrong, solos will thrive in this game as long as you have a Luke warm IQ at least. Casual players can go play DMZ if this is too hard for them 😂
@@Hudszgaming never said it wasn’t for casuals I said if they think this game is too hard for them they can play DMZ, it very much is a casual extraction shooter but constantly “casual players” are complaining that there is too much going on or it will be “too hard for solo players” try playing solo tarkov or solo arena breakout… with the infinite access to smokes/stuns/abilities solos have more of a chance on this game compared to harder extraction shooters. I’m tired of hearing people wanting to dumb it down or completely change the game.
@@Captainmcdirty there are lots of ways solo tarkov is easier than solo DMZ or this tbh 🤷♂️. Being able to see where your teammates are at all times, no friendly fire, and abilities to ping enemy players etc definitely cater it more towards teams than solos.
Little thing i noticed about sniping; even if your scope is on target if you are moving or have moved in the past 2 seconds you're going to miss, if you have been standing still for 2 seconds with no movement outside of crouching you'll hit what you have been aiming at. Though i may be off about the timing it's somewhere around the 2 seconds tho
I think they are fine. The armor gets zeroed out quick is my complaint and alot of the objects in the world like stuff on tables completely stop your bullets.
In my opinion this shows how tame the abilities are compared to those from BF2042 or even Apex Legends. From what I've seen this discussion here is usually about the two recon operators and when I compare their abilities to the ones from Paik in BF2042 or Bloodhound in Apex it becomes obvious how limited they are in range, area and/or duration as well as cooldown. I think the powerlevel is fine but what the developers should finetune are the differences between operators. I didn't participate in the technical test but watched many hours of streams and videos and I can say with certainty that the engineer was by far the least picked class and probably even the least picked character for the Hazard Operations mode. Personally I'm glad there are no over the top movement abilities in this game like those from Mackay in BF2042 or Horizon in Apex as these can be much more influential than any other group of skills. Imagine D-Wolf sending his exoskeleton into overdrive and leaping onto a building.
@@stormhawk_v8838 I agree. I think the only change I'd like to see is limiting how many operators can be on each team, each ability seems to be nicely balanced and has a counter at the moment. But that may change. Having a team with 3 medics could be extremely annoying to play against though 😅
@@Hudszgaming Yes, this is a change I'd like to see as well. In fact I was surprised it was possible to begin with as I have never seen a 'hero' game where you can bring the same character twice to a team be it a shooter, MOBA or something else. Since we already have two classes with more than one operator and I guess more will be added after release we can already stack classes in a team but bringing the same character multiple times seems like a bit too much.
I think a really good change in all honesty, and I very well might be talking out of my ass here, but I feel as if like for instance the "Recon" class should have their arrow amount reduced, maybe instead of a cool down you come in with maybe one or 2 arrows but if you wanna come in with more (maybe a max of like 6 to 8) You have to pay to bring them in. It's gonna be weird having these in a game that's an extraction shooter and you lose what you have if you die having like "hero abilities" but honestly I'm so down for this game, I truly hope to get into the alpha as I've been looking for something to scratch the DMZ itch I never knew I'd have.
The hero shooter characters i think is what is keeping the game from being realistic and not a real competitor to battlefield and COD, but the gun play makes up for the poor hero shooter decision
@@Hudszgaming The main points of concern is security, mainly in the fact that it's a tencent game meaning that it will spy on you alot and send all that data back to the CCP. Another concern would be stolen assets from other games, I've seen people call this a Battlefield clone and dismiss that because what matters is a good game at the end despite them literally stealing assets from other games like the inventory UI from tarkov or gun animations from cod. Tencent is known for being super greedy in alot of places so monetization is a good point of concern.
