As musicians (and techs) we don’t have to be leading the people at all moments, but we do need to be amongst the worshippers even when it’s “just fellowship” time. If you are spent after worship then something is wrong and you need to have a leader council you. Don’t hide, even if you are severely shy: be available and real which includes revealing your shyness and neediness amongst your brethren.
I love what you said about the Integrity covers not having pics of the worship leader(s). All these "rockstar" cover/intro shots for worship videos is nauseating. They are only glorifying themselves.
@@Dannys.channel a lot of the recent churchfront videos have been targeted and only really relevant towards big and mega churches. For example, this video was about green rooms etc. and the large majority of churches (which typically have about like 300 people) don't even have a green room.
@@Taffy116 I think these videos are applicable to any size church, it just depends on how much you want to apply it to your specific church. Maybe you don't have a physical green room, but you do have an established culture. Does your band/pastor/media/production team spend their time with each other in there spaces under the idea that they are getting ready for or doing their thing? Or do they purposefully and intentionally go out and be with people before and after they are finished "doing". Size of church doesn't matter, its about principles. I think most of these speakers are speaking because the have grown from small to big and have had to learn the hard way how to do things well and in a way that is Kingdom. They are trying to communicate that to smaller churches.
I totally disagree with the idea that you have to talk to people in the lobby. God made everyone differently. The body of Christ has many different parts that have different functions. If you’re introverted that’s fine. You don’t have to troll the lobby for people to talk to. You do have to be available to minister to people if God leads you to. Do what you’re good at. Thats why God made you good at it.
Thanks for sharing.

This was so needed. Thank you for sharing this!
I love this guy!

So practical. Thanks.
Any chance you could make a playlist specific to the 95% of churches which are small churches?
What do you mean

The majority of churches in North America are 75 or less people.
Not knocking the channel. This channel is a very needed resource. I’d just like to see a playlist of its content that is specific for small churches.
So good 👍
Great stuff!
