      Without specifically an LG front loader washer the Sidekick will give you an E7 Error code, so no I’m sorry.

    Can you stack a normal washer and a dryer on top of the sidekick?

      Hello there! We appreciate your inquiry. In response, you can definitely stack an LG Washer on an LG SideKick; however, you cannot stack an LG Dryer directly on an LG SideKick Pedestal. The LG SideKick Pedestal washer is designed to sit beneath a compatible LG Front-Load Washer, not under a dryer.
      The LG SideKick Pedestal is used to provide additional washing capacity and convenience, while an LG Dryer would typically be stacked on top of an LG Washer, not an LG Pedestal. You will also need to consider the compatibility and sizes of both units.       @@LGUSASupport thank for the quick answer, but I was getting specifically at stacking an LG dryer on top of an LG washer on top of an LG sidekick pedestal. Would such a triple decker be possible?

      No. Stacking an LG dryer on top of an LG washer on top of an LG sidekick pedestal is not recommended. When washers and dryers are stacked together, they cannot be installed as one unit with a pedestal or riser. This is for both safety and access. ^James.

    Is it possible to get hot water with the sidekick, not just warm water?

However, hot water alone wouldn't be an option.       You don't need to use hot water for any washes. The right detergent can get rid of any stain in cold water as well. We never use hot water for anything, towels, whites, clothing as hot water ruins fabrics. It's completely unnecessary.

    Do you need to keep the door open for a few hours after using to prevent mold and mildew?

      Yes, leaving the door of the LG Sidekick Washer slightly open after use helps prevent mold and mildew. This allows air to circulate and moisture to evaporate, reducing the risk of buildup.     I wish LG would make a 2.0 cu. ft. or 2.5 cu. ft. Because 1.0 cu. ft. is so small.
