It's one of bts most rigorous songs as in the choreography. When they performed in an award show the stage was moving and the idols felt it like tremors. It was crazy. Then once during the concert the staff had to literally hold the stage up. That was insane this insane... Just very hard working chaps.

3:35 yeah this video (and lyrics) is a big F U to the haters, a lot of stuff they got hate for is in here exaggerated and the rabbit in the moon is a Korean saying. You could check out both DKDKTV and some other explanation for more context to what they are doing and why, I think DK only gives a bit of cultural and lyric explanation so it won't be enough but I know they explain the rabbit in the moon. Nothing is just in there for no reason. It might seem just colorful, kinda much and cute but when you know it is bad ass. Also this is a BTS song first and I see it with Nicki is more of a remix than a colla or feature so it doesn't feel really cohesive.
This is one of their features I do really like! Nicki is a boss, and I think she held her own featuring in a BTS song. I also like Megan in the Butter remix they did together, and then there are other features / collabs I love that aren't rappers. If you're feeling vocal line someday I recommend the Lauv collabs with bts, he featured on "make it right" (which honestly has some of my fav soft rap verses) and also on his own track he featured JK and Jimin in "who" which is a beautiful song.

You've probably already been told this but yeah the song was just a BTS song for the haters. However they just released another version of it with Nicki, just as artists do I guess. And I'm sure there are ARMYs who don't even know about the existence of this collaboration. The original song has 371M streams on spotify which is more than double the amount this one has, 168M streams. But you almost have to watch an explanation to this one because it is really genius. It references things haters have said, like too much green screen/cgi, plagiarism accusations, too many colors and things happening, JK uses autotune, jhope is too childish, suga is too pale etc. (in response you'll notice that they super autotuned jk's voice, jhope is wearing bugs bunny and suga snow white!)
I love the way BTS is all about self-love and hater smack-downs. This MV is epic in the way every crazy shot is either an homage to the culture(s) they love or a slap at the haters. I think the Permission to Dance MV's nod to the American west was a hilarious direct hit on all the haters complaining that their English songs were proof that they were becoming too "westernized".

So usually the songs that have feature are like here, that it is part in song, that you can easly cut, that person have few lines and maybe some part in choures, but not that big to change flow/vibe of song. She asked Suga to be on her album bc they both had very hard time with mental health and result was great. Also Suga is a feature on Juice Wrld on "Girl of my dream" song and it is very even song like in parts etc and really good song. And reason they asked him is similar to Halsey, the producer of album said they wanted feature that could break in to fandoms, countries, etc, that they really don't have reach, but also wanted someone that understand how hard this world can be so yeah we have Suga on song, and not first time with Juice Wrld, first was with RM too, Juice actually liked very much asian culture (I don't know if you knew it, so he was very open for this things). But it is solo work it is easier for sure then when you arlefy have 7 people, like You heard all RM guest in his album, so yeah. Or like Jhope and Backy G collab. Actually feat Megan thee stallion on "Butter" is great, I think it is little better then this Idol version. But in songs that are more b sides or not parts of album they do better with guest. They have songs with Zara Larsson (Brand new day), Charli XCX (Dream glow) and Juice Wrld (All night) and this are great collabs. Very "fair", I simply mean that are people that were on songs have similar time and even parts, etc. There is also difference when BTS doing a collab like with Coldplay it is totally different thing they are doing it together with another artist, etc. As a project. (and mixtapes and solo stuff are totally different, and have different "laws") That is also why when BTS is the feature on another artist it is easier, bc they don't really promote it themself much... It says it's a feature for a reason and while, don't get me wrong, it's obviously not the worst collab from BTS (like the disappointment of Sias is insurmountable 🤡 her side really fucked up such a great opportunity,) there are still better BTS collabs than this; especially ones that aren't just features on a remix of their original song. The reason why she's not officially in the video with them is that this is the mv of Idol but with Nickis part spliced in (you probably should have watched the original Idol first to get a feel for the song as it came out a month before the remix - which is how they got the dance challenge vids at the end of this mv.) But yeah... Not their best collab but also not their worst. I'd definitely recommend watching the original mv before an explanation for it.

I actually love Suga feature on Halsey album, she has a song called "Suga's Interlude", it is great song, on of my favorite Suga's outside BTS stuff. She asked Suga to be on her album bc they both had very hard time with mental health and result was great.
Also Suga is a feature on Juice Wrld on "Girl of my dream" song and it is very even song like in parts etc and really good song. And reason they asked him is similar to Halsey, the producer of album said they wanted feature that could break in to fandoms, countries, etc, that they really don't have reach, but also wanted someone that understand how hard this world can be so yeah we have Suga on song, and not first time with Juice Wrld, first was with RM too, Juice actually liked very much asian culture (I don't know if you knew it, so he was very open for this things).
But it is solo work it is easier for sure then when you arlefy have 7 people, like You heard all RM guest in his album, so yeah. Or like Jhope and Backy G collab.
Actually feat Megan thee stallion on "Butter" is great, I think it is little better then this Idol version.
But in songs that are more b sides or not parts of album they do better with guest.
They have songs with Zara Larsson (Brand new day), Charli XCX (Dream glow) and Juice Wrld (All night) and this are great collabs. Very "fair", I simply mean that are people that were on songs have similar time and even parts, etc.
There is also difference when BTS doing a collab like with Coldplay it is totally different thing they are doing it together with another artist, etc. As a project.
(and mixtapes and solo stuff are totally different, and have different "laws")
That is also why when BTS is the feature on another artist it is easier, bc they don't really promote it themself much...
There is actually so many song that are so interesting, but aren't really big that BTS took part in them, in one way or another ( not only vocals or rap, but also like production, writing)...

It says it's a feature for a reason and while, don't get me wrong, it's obviously not the worst collab from BTS (like the disappointment of Sias is insurmountable 🤡 her side really fucked up such a great opportunity,) there are still better BTS collabs than this; especially ones that aren't just features on a remix of their original song. The reason why she's not officially in the video with them is that this is the mv of Idol but with Nickis part spliced in (you probably should have watched the original Idol first to get a feel for the song as it came out a month before the remix - which is how they got the dance challenge vids at the end of this mv.)
But yeah... Not their best collab but also not their worst. I'd definitely recommend watching the original mv before an explanation for it.
