There's nothing that can ruin a truckers day quite like a DoT officer... surprised he didn't try to do a roadside inspection. The number of things he could of called foul on is quite extensive lol.

how come thay ask for the log book what info can it give them other then the stores you've been at which does not matter to them (or at lest it should not)
im a truck drivre and the log book is required by DOT to show when you your diving, on duty , and off duty. you can' t drive more then 11 hours in a 24 hour day. then you have to have a 10 hour break before you can drive again.
