I think what the Lord might be trying to show you is that we shouldn’t idolize these actors, but instead pray for them and for their salvation. Some of them might be spiritually oppressed. Let’s have compassion for them, and pray that their implication in this show might light a fire in them, bring a true hunger for the Gospel, and a true longing for God.
Just watched this and got exactly the same thing… we plant Apollos waters and God brings the increase. This show ministers to that actors just like it ministers to millions. Miss, (author) Maybe God was trying to show you that Eventhough we see them in these sacred characters they’re still just human (just even like their characters). These characters, this series is not The Word itself and we would all do well to remember that; no matter how compelling the show, it’s not a replacement for His Word. I like how the main actor plays Jesus… but that’s just it, He’s playing…. Bc Jesus didn’t celebrate All Hallows’ eve and align himself with anyone but God. This main guy is catholic (like kisses the pope’s hand catholic). The director (you said) used to direct horror films, you wouldn’t want anyone not honoring who you are now bc of what they’ve remembered of who you used to be. So although God gave you a word… maybe it was for you and others like you. So maybe titling the video ‘exposed’ wasn’t the right call? You can’t expose what no one is hiding. These people haven’t kept their lives secret or you wouldn’t have known (unless by prophetic revelation of course). Needless to say, I appreciate your post it takes courage to speak what God has said for you to say but if we aren’t sure of why, we should say that also.
No they are changing gods word. U love the show so u don't want to give it up. This Jesus is not the real Jesus. This is the new age Jesus. The pope has his hands in this one need I say more. All of us have things which could probably disqualify us from sharing the gospel if it were not for the grace of God. As far as I know (could be wrong) the leaders are Spirit filled believers? I agree that although this show is telling a sacred story and portraying Jesus Himself, we should not idolise it and expect it or the story tellers to be perfect, only God is perfect. Although accountability is necessary to ensure they give the right doctrine and share the heart of Jesus in accordance with the word, these people are neither the Word of God, nor are they God. I may be wrong in how I see this but this is a debatable thing(to watch or not to watch) and as Paul taught in Romans 14: do things according to your faith (for debatable things like allowed foods and clothes)...if your faith allows you to watch, watch, if it is sinful to you and your faith in God, then don't watch. Props to the author for her love and obedience in sharing what she felt God is saying and for being open to God's interpretation and others prayer💚
Hello, thank you for sharing. That must have been a scary dream. I'm a Christian, an old lady now, and I just wanted to gently ask if there coukd be a chance that the dark powers in the universe (demons) influenced your dreams in order to pull you away from watching the powerful message of the Gospel? We're supposed to test the spirits, so we know if it's of God. My humble observation is that through this beautiful production, many people who might otherwise not have the opportunity, are exposed to the gospel. These may be people who dont read, lonely, depressed, or sick people at home, and people who need a visual connection can see the message of hope come alive. I watched Jesus of Nazareth when I was young, and it changed my life. Jim Caviezel is a Christian, but there were many actors on the film who were not. I watched The Chosen and, after all my life as a Christian, responded to the series with tears of joy and wonder at the gift we have in our God who would take on flesh, come to Earth, love us, and take upon himself all humanity's atrocious sins, take away their power over us through his death, suffer agony, and give us his resurrected life now and in the world to come. The demons don't want that good news getting out there. You're a beautiful Christian woman and so brave to share your heart. I hope you dont mind me sharing a different view of how I see the Chosen. For me, its been a production of great blessing.

I completely agree. I wondered if these actors were actually Christians but the message and personification of the contents in the Bible has still better helped me connect with the Bible it made it feel even more real for me like I was watching history happen. If I got something good out of it then I imagine this is what god intended for me. And I hope those actors were touched by the role they played. Sometimes I even feel like a hypocrite when I tell others about Christ when I don’t feel worthy to do so but there might be a seed planted in that one person. So same for the actors they planted a seed in me, god may have worked through them even if they don’t believe it themself

If the chosen is helping you to feel closer to Christ, and influencing you in a positive way, I don’t think it matters what directors, producers or actors have worked on before. I once had a dream of what looked like Jesus telling me to come with him. There was a small angel cherub near him. I asked what would happen to my child but got no answer. I felt weird and after he repeated his words again I said no. His eyes turned to fire and my body then felt like I was being electrocuted. I prayed to Jesus for help in my dream n woke up after that prayer. Remember Satan can appear as an angel of light. He didn’t want you watching the chosen. Very true. But recognize the difference between what the friend told her and what her dream told her. You cannot argue with a dream from the Lord. God told Moses that He speaks to people in dreams and visions and that in the last day our young people will dream dreams. The dream never said anything about those people's backgrounds. The dream used demons as a symbolic way to notify us that the show is being operated by demons. Those people don't have to be the demons. Those people in the show may not even know that they are being used by demons, but the dream is clear that God is letting it be known that demons are using the show. And I know how. I have never liked that show and have never really liked a lot of Bible movies and shows because show or not, the Book of Revelations says you cannot add or take out of God's Word. We cannot make shows or anything that has to do with God's Word, and add our own little scripts and flavor to it. If that show does not say word for word what every character in the Bible said and narrate it according to every word that was spoken in the Bible, that show is in abomination with God, because God said do not add or take anything out of His Word. That is why I said the actors must not know that they are being used by demons because most of them probably do not know that they are not supposed to add or take anything out of the Word, so they are being used by demons without knowing it, but I believe lots of them do know better, but only God knows.

Dallas Jenkins is the son of Jerry B. Jenkins who is the co-author of the Left Behind series. Dallas grew up in a Christian home. He has never directed horror films and for you to say that before doing research on him is wrong. Not everyone who does Christian films is filled with the spirit. But that doesn't mean they can't be during the filming. But even if they don't, I think that doing a Christian film impacts the actors in a good way for the rest of their lives. I think one of the main reasons I like this film so much is because it is written in the perspectives of the disciples. I absolutely support this film and will continue to do so.

I very much agree with this. It was one of the thoughts that entered my mind. I am a dreamer but I KNOW I have had dreams that did not manifest or turned out not to be from the Lord. She did say though that we should all pray about it. Secondly, I was going to ask her if perhaps she has reservations about the faith of some people linked to the show. Then she mentions Catholicism. I don't know why but I can only guess it is all efforts of the enemy to weaken the strength and authority of the church. I have some things to say: - The Chosen has converted so many people and you have no idea about it. - What the actors, producers or directors of the show think about has nothing to do with the show itself. - Catholicism and pro-abortion shouldn't be in the same sentence. This is so offensive in so many ways. - Your dreams are rarely revelations, and people in a conversion process often have nightmares. If you had a vision, go seek the truth, don't simply accept it. The director did not do horror films. He did a film that was funded by blumehouse (a traditionally horror production company) but gave him full creativity to do what he wanted. Ended up doing a Christian movie. The movie flopped. And that’s the beginning of his testimony. You just need to look into this stuff before sharing your own interpretation of your dream. I’m not criticizing but this can be damaging if you don’t do the research on your own. It would be different if you just said the dream and left it for others to interpret. This whole video is misconstrued.

@@terrigreen100 This is why people have a problem with The Chosen. The Chosen is very good at making you feel good, which isn't a bad thing but we're talking about Jesus' teachings and scripture. If you're a believer, then that's not anything to play around with. And unfortunately the show is being ran by people who are molding the words of Jesus in ways that benefit the show to get more views. They're also adding content to make the show (gospel) more appealing to viewers. This is quite dangerous. I admit, I did watch season 1 and 2 and I did enjoy it, and it also put the New Testament in better perspective for me. I can now read the Bible with far better understanding than ever before after watching the show. I myself, will just simply know better and will approach such things with caution, and make sure to always study the Bible and not a television series. So, if someone disagrees (or just highly doubts) that your dream was a legitimate revelation from God and thinks its just your imagination running wild (No insult intended), does that mean that person does not have The Holy Spirit in them because they wont believe what you truly believe God told you? I truly believe what is revealed in The Bible is not negotiable but private revelations such as yours are optional to believe or not believe without ones relationship with God being affected. What is your opinion? Because lets be honest, there are people out there who are probably saying that God told them The Chosen is pleasing to God. Probably saying that they came to that conclusion by The Holy Spirit too. I can recall at least one person saying they think the show is part of Gods will. Why should someone believe you over them? In the Bible for someone to be a prophet they had to be 100% right 100% of the time. Other wise it just becomes suggestions or opinion. It’s a fine line. It is hard to tell without the Holy Spirit. It is hard ti be 100% right without God. The Bible speaks of fauls prophets that means they are not 100% right. Witch means they are fauls. It’s a fine line. That’s why we go to the word of God and pray and fast. And not go to some one’s opinion. No offense to anyone and I’m not calling anyone wrong. But I’m saying there’s room for interpretation. It’s hard to be 100% right. But it’s nesacary to be a true prophet. This lady did good on putting her opinion and saying interpret this what you need. I’m not saying she’s wrong. The show has prompted many to start reading their Bible and going to church. The enemy wants us to fight about anything that has an influence like this series does. There has never been a Bible based movie, i.e. "The Passion of Christ" or show that doesn't have people from every background that is involved in making them. There was a profound Catholic influence in TPofC. I firmly believe that many people sitting next to us in church may not truly be saved. They have an intellectual assent but have never recognized that they are a sinner and need a Savior. Pray for those that are involved in this and pray for those that watch it.
Yes. To false churches where the gospel is never preached and heretical ideas are embraced. Prosperity, health, ecumenism, homosexuality acceptance... It happened with "the shack" and if will happen again with this show. It is a blessing, but not because is going to bring more unbelievers to the REAL Jesus and his REAL gospel, but because it is going to expose who really cares about bible teachings and who use the bible as a doorstopper or a dust collector. As a catholic I learned that God speaks with clarity through scripture. A dream can be vague. We have no need for more prophets because our Lord Jesus had fulfilled the all the prophesy he needed to reveal that he is the Christ. Private revelation may have just been for you. I agree with you dear one, but i would say that you should be graciously frank, the need to restore with gentleness those who are caught in sin in humbleness so we need to confront but gently correct those you know that are in sin or error. Do it wisely. Do it in love.. But do it! Do it because you love God more than anything and you love your brother or sister as you love yourself.
Have you looked into Jenkins' partnership with the Mormon producers, and the way he dismisses people's concerns about the way he has interpreted things, or the words he's put into Jesus' mouth. I think there's more to her dream than too many people are willing to find out.

Being oppressed is no joke. Dreams are not always God, actually they are more influenced by evil than anything else. Not all dreams are from God but Satan seemed to use you quite well with this by you announcing such a thing to the public BEFORE getting an answer from God. You said that yourself. It’s a different gospel. They bow to statues and literally worship the Eucharist. They even call it “our Eucharistic Lord” and have adoration times for it - as it’s displayed in a metal box. People have claimed to have heard the bread talking to them and have been given revelation by the bread. That’s their Jesus.

I literally took my bible to read every time I watched the show. There's just been hunger in my soul for the revelation of God's word everytime I watched it
No offense but that was a whole lot of nothing from an argumentative POV. saying Jonathan is Catholic to discredit his Christianity and credentials to be an actor on this show is ridiculous, the show never pretends to be a substitute for the Bible or even Biblically based, its a historical drama on the life of Jesus, not a Scriptural series. I am a Christian as well but if you want to claim these actors arent worthy to play these fictionalized versions of Biblical figures, ask yourself who is worthy?

Except the Christ of the Bible isn't being preached. In Paul's example the problem was the motive. The problem with the Chosen is the portrayal of Christ.
I didn't watch your whole video, because...I think that was Satan coming into your dreams, trying to take a very very good thing and make it bad in your mind. If you will go watch the thousands of testimonies from people that the show has drawn closer to God, has them reading their Bibles and going to church. Giving their lives over to Jesus. Maybe then you can see the GREAT things this show has done. Myself included. I was saved at young age and then with life getting in the way and of course Satan being there to lie and lure me away, I was a big backslider!! I started watching this show and it has changed me forever! I have re-dedicated myself to The Lord, been baptized and yes reading my Bible and The word of God.. all because this show!! There's a section where James, referred to as "the cripple," asks why Jesus didn't heal him. Firstly, search the scriptures to find any reference where James is described as being crippled THERE ISN'T. And if you locate such a reference, try to find an instance where Jesus did not heal him. Attention to detail is crucial for the show, and that particular segment nearly deceived me.
Both of you are right guys :) I definetly believe that the Chosen can bring somebody close to living god. Also i definetly reject the section about crippled James! Its unbiblical, period. Sometimes we see that Dallas tries to portrai Jesus or apostles on the way that the people can relate with them. I think this was the case. But instead the whole picture of the show is (the light) and fruit is good ? Is that true ? Even in the bible we read after Jesus was resurected and apostles spread this message that Peter was covering in front of jews that he was talking and sitting with non jews. So if he can do mistake and be corrected by Paul i believe also Dallas can do and be corrected by you :)

Dallas even said that some actors didn't even believe in god before taking their role but then came to believe while witnessing certainthings. Every last one of us is filled with the holy spirit but some just not activated it yet. This show just may be the blessing those ppl need to activate the holy spirit. Like another said. Maybe it's God reminding you that the ppl portraying these ppl including Jonathan roomie are still just ppl and not to worship them. Remember that Jesus specifically picked "sinners" as his apostles. The thing is, you cannot judge the actors and act like they should be somehow unblemished. They are human. Jesus was the only one who was without sin. You can’t expect any person to play Jesus’s or his disciples or his mother to be perfect. The director isn’t perfect either. I used to have dreams like the one you had about the actors. I had that type of dream about my own family years ago. A demon possessing them and laughing like that. Of course the enemy doesn’t want people to watch the show and get anything positive out of it because it glorifies god. It’s sparking a connection with him. Believers and non believers alike. Demons will often be in your dreams not because they are showing you that the people they possess are evil, but because they are trying to trick you. Those demons you saw are trying to confuse you and make you think they there is something wrong with the show or the people creating it. That’s how the enemy keeps people from experiencing god. By trying to block his works. Don’t let them fool you.

The objective of watching these shows and these shows being produced is to reach people who do not know the Lord! The Chosen has won many people to Christ and inspired many to explore God’s word. Be cautious, it is not our job to condemn people. If you have proper conviction, authenticated with factual proof, that is one thing. However, claiming truth against your fellow human is a direct disobedience of God's commandment. Thou shall not bare false witness. Hello, as a member of Aroze Society, the message is what matters and people who watch are actually coming to christ, also I understand your concern with the Actors, but I don't think no actor act the same as the character they play because it's acting ofc, although production companies aren't focus on who's the holiest, their focused on who can fulfil the role, so I don't think the show is bad in any way because the meaning of the show still stands, no matter who it's from, either the message is true or false, we should be able to identify as believer and followers of christ... and we know not to idolize these characters hahaha. The reason I stopped watching after about 3 episodes was simply because I felt the show took too much liberty to actually change what the Bible clearly says. Rather than stick to what the Bible actually says they basically made a bunch of stuff up about what they thought "might have happened." This to me is a dangerous way to go. There have been very worldly and unsaved people in almost all movies about Christ and the gospels. However, this series changes things too much for my liking. I actually had a brief interaction with the man who I think is the main one behind the series on the net after I had watched episode one and mentioned this very thing about the story that should have been taken from Luke 4:16-21 where Jesus quotes from Isaiah 61:1 is totally changed. I instantly didn't like it since this is a VERY profound scripture and I do not believe for a single second that this happened a second time during the ministry of Jesus. I firmly believe this was a one time event, never to be repeated. I understand a movie or program like this may need to extrapolate, basically make some things up to fill in the story to make it more interesting and perhaps that is fine as long as the Bible narrative is not changed. However when you change what actually happened as revealed in God's word, that is wrong imho and should never be done. The Bible does say that if all the works of Jesus were written the world could not contain the books that SHOULD be written. In the 3 episodes I watched I felt it was making too much stuff up that was different from what the bible actually says. John 21:25 "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen."
I agree . Even in the POFC movie they changed a few things up. King Herod was dead long before Christ returned to Nazareth. Heroes son was in reign at the time but the movie portrays him still being alive. We must all ready the scripture and pray for decrement as we read. 🙏🏾

The show's message is very Christianity Lite and the Jesus they portray is not the Jesus of The Orthodox Church but hopefully it moves people to start their journey. I left the occult and found my way to the original Church founded by Christ and his apostles! The one, holy, and apostolic Church of the ancient Christian creeds and the only Church that has always kept the true Christology and faith. We really do have to be observant of the fruit. It was only Holy Spirit that led me to do research on the actors and actresses. Even with gospel music I had to remove some artists from my collection.

Jim Caviezel (actor that portrayed Jesus in "The Passion of the Christ") is also Catholic as well as Mel Gibson (that movie's director). being Catholic doesn't make you a horrible person (even if you think it does). I know a lot of honest, holy, God-seeking people that are across numerous religious beliefs, including Catholic. I've also met dishonest, bad people across denominations. years back I had an addiction. I quit it cold turkey and sought God. one night I had a dream where I was surrounded by people and they encouraged me to give in to that addiction with saying "we know you said you gave it up and made a promise to God, but just one time won't hurt", I gave in, and immediately those people turned demonic and chastised me with "how could you *ever* go back on your promise? how could God *ever* love someone that does that? you're a fraud!" as I start to panic. God reminds you of who you are, the Devil reminds of you what you've done and adds "God couldn't love someone that's done THAT!" every saint has a past, every sinner has a future.

If all you know of the bible comes from shows and other preachers you're doing yourself a disservice, because the word in it's entirety is perfect and will break you, shows like The Chosen will only give a glimpse and can sometimes not portray what the word truly means.

But also I see it like this, I think its a good show for people who dont read their Bible to get them interested into reading. We all are sinful beings but even the atheist can do good. So my thing is to just pray for the actors and the audience that is lost and hope they are moved by it.
Being a catholic does NOT mean you are not Christian. It is a sect of Christianity and they believe in the SAME God. Their traditions may be different from the reformed churches but their message is the same! Saying that being Catholic raises issues is just not right. I don’t see anything wrong with the chosen unles people are substituting truth for everything that’s in the show. The chosen is glorifying God. I think it’s a healthy show to watch for someone who want to try and imagine what life during Christ’s life would have been like. Also are you saying all Catholics aren’t saved? I haven't watched the series because the holy spirit warned me but have recently seen some horrifying clips from the show that are close if not already blasphemy that any spirit filled believer would know we're false. Peter calling John the Baptist, who was filled with the Spirit, who Jesus said was the best man to have ever lived, "crazy John" over and over. Then Jesus preparing for the sermon on the mount. Asking his disciple Matthew for advice. What kind of blasphemy is that. Jesus didn't prepare sermons the holy spirit spoke through him. Bottom line: Read the Bible for yourself, and get to know God yourself. Whether you watch this show or not; whether you like it or not; read the Bible and pray for understanding - and test any thought or vision with the Scriptures, because they are directly from the Spirit of God, God’s own Word. Know God Jn 17:1-3 (I Jn 4:1-6; 2 Pet 1:16-21; Jn 1:1-14)
You may need to research how to discern whether something is Holy Spirit brought or not, in a dream. Not all huge feelings in dreams are from God. Yes anyone who watches these shows must also accept that no actor or actress is perfect and we all struggle with sin. I sinner can say nice things and word to lead you to Jesus it doesn't mean they are save but the most important thing is that did you get thr message the sinner you think the person is said you you... You should be more caring for your own life rather than the person.. Because God that uses them or allowed them or whatever prompts them to talk to you will also one use something or he God himself might appear to them and make them change.. Another point is that... Yes the chosen is out of some written in the Bible but that doesn't brings arguments or condemnation.. It's same as when our pastors or apostles came up with new knowledge either by studies or revelation from God (as they may say)... Are we going to say those revelations or studies are not in the Bible so we should not take note of them if we can see that they are truths in whatever the revelation or something they say might be true? No... We believe them because even the Bible says the whole world can't contain his words.. Which is why the holy Spirit reveals things to his children everyday.. So we should not judge the chosen if they decided to act the Jesus portrait in another dimension that might be the revelation they had concerning him from the holy Spirit which has changed many people's ideology of their believing in Christ and help them more getting closer to God... Remember no one is perfect... Not even anyone.. If God were looking for perfect people to teach the world who he is.. You would have seen angels in white rob everywhere preach on the world of God... But in the imperfect men God speaks and lead people to himself while he deal with the imperfect men himself... For me I don't know or want to know who the actors are... (Some things are better not known) all I want and know is that the chosen has helped me in my seeing of Jesus to whom personality he was while he was in the world and I found fulfilment... If the actors are not perfect just as I'm.. I know one day.. God will deal with their imperfections as he would for me by his mercy an forgiveness which everyone needs... Jesus never calls a perfect man.. Them that are healthy needs no physician but them that are sick... No wonder all his disciples are all sinners before he transformed them and he never did that one day.. Most of them til he died and back to heaven they don't even know what they were doing... So I won't advise anyone to criticize the chosen.. Because the message is to lead people to the cross not for the actors to lead people to themselves.. No one reading the Bible now saw Jesus while alive in the world... And even the Bible did not write out what Jesus did at age 3 or what he does while away from Herod in Egypt.. Or what he does while he sleeps in the night.. The dreams he had... Or what he does while he was lonely in a day in the total numbers of his 30 plus years on earth.. So such revelation could be shown to anyone.. Though that doesn't make us to believe no judge such revelation but we should pray to have it ourselves to confirm what is been spoken to us... The chosen is up to save lives not to condemn it nor it's actors... If you don't learn the dimensions of this world or the world that has happened past and believe what only that is written you won't go far because not everything is written... Not even whatever trespasses during the isrealite coming out of Egypt is wholy written but the most important ones were pointed out... (How did you intended to script a daily live of over 400souls in a book) but we can see that we had the most important message but other things left untold could be reveale which can help someone but we should not judge it nor condemn it nor say it is not written.. Especially when we are not filled with the holy Spirit.. Devilish spirit can lead us into false revelations.. Crazy I just came across this after I saw a video of the cast having a little party and noticed a bottle of burbon in the background. The show is def blessed but this is an important realization that we need to all remember they are just people playing roles, and many have serious downfalls like the rest of us. Some times demons show up in dreams not every dream is a relaxation from God. And you taking someone’s opinion as confirmation from the Holy Spirit. What did the word of God say. Not a friends opinion. Also in the Bible God used sinners and people that didn’t believe in to still do his work. And it’s not truth about the chosen if your information is speculative. What people did in the past has nothing to do with what the Holy Spirit is doing now with the show. More people are seeing the word of God more then ever. In history. That’s great work. This sounds like a dream... Not a vision. The key to that being just a dream is how you said you were confused. The Spirit doesn't lead us to confusion. Nor does the spirit guide us to answers through contention, such as the article basically defaming actors. So what if they're not the people they play? Stop defaming people and a show, and hating on a group of people and saying it's from God. Your inspiration 100% is NOT from God because He Himself has said that that which leads us to do evil, that which fills us with a spirit of contention is NOT from Him. And your words, your logic are all hate filled. You're basically calling us to also hate a group of strangers because they don't fit your vision of what true Christians are supposed to look like. Who cares if an actress supports abortion? Who cares if one is catholic? Who cares if the sets they film on are owned by the LDS Church? There's nothing wrong with having a political view, there's nothing wrong with being Catholic, and there's nothing wrong with the LDS Church. Perhaps you should re-watch this, do an inventory of yourself, and ask yourself how you're actually feeling, and how the Spirit speaks to us. If we are confused, it is not revelation. Please focus on the fact that this show has people watching the Lord! I grew up in church twice on Sunday and once on Wednesday! Became a teenager started selling crack and other drugs, turned to gangs! I would go to tent revivals and show up at random churches on Sundays! I was the only white kid in my neighborhood, I was shot a few times made a lot of money from the streets. Then one day the twin towers fell. I watched it with a Muslim man from a gas station in Spartanburg sc I couldn’t stop crying. He told me your god “Jesus” is calling you for something! How powerful a year later I was in Afghanistan! Fast foward to a month ago, I was beaten down and suicidal my mother told me to watch the show! She said focus on the cross!!!! I couldn’t take my eyes of his words but every time it showed a cross I broke down! This show isn’t for Christian’s ma’am it’s for me and people like me! Please focus on the cross!❤

If you read the originally translated bible (all before Martin Luther) Jesus tells to be a Christian and describes Catholics, so my question is why would you chose to listen to a bible that verses were hand picked by a man?

I'm going to be very careful about saying this at this moment, the one thing i noticed is their merchandising, they're t-shirts, sweatshirts ect. Are very, very expensive, now i understand that's one way to make money & could very well be going into paying cast members (which by the way is public information) and including how much the crew & writer/ director is making. I was shocked to find out that the guy that did the movie over last summer "Sound of Freedom" is Mormon, then I remembered his wife on the phone w him during the movie when they pulled his funds & said to come back to the U.S, his wife on the phone stated " I will not have you jeopardizing our salvation ( through works ) remembered Mormons believe in Works, not the free gift of salvation through faith, so I question when you put a paid cast together of unbelievers together with this, your heart should be all in to help pull souls out of literally falling into the pits of hell.... Merchandising is the #1 way that bands make millions & millions, plus there have been many donating for this project, wonder if the people live in big expensive homes & fancy cars to go with it???? Just a thought. 1. They're actors... 2. Just because demons took over the show in your dreams doesn't mean that the show is demonic. If anything those are your demons, after all its you're dream. And dream's usually reveal the nature of your own soul before they speak to what's out there objectively. That's the trouble with Evangelical types and the "spirit filled", that's why I left to become Roman Catholic. Everything that feels bad is bad to you guys. You've got no grit. If its unpleasant or even slightly off to what you anticipate then, its demon possessed and evil. Ya'll are just like the character Schmuel in the show. Are we going to say those revelations or studies are not in the Bible so we should not take note of them if we can see that they are truths in whatever the revelation or something they say might be true? No... We believe them because even the Bible says the whole world can't contain his words.. Which is why the holy Spirit reveals things to his children everyday.. So we should not judge the chosen if they decided to act the Jesus portrait in another dimension that might be the revelation they had concerning him from the holy Spirit which has changed many people's ideology of their believing in Christ and help them more getting closer to God... Remember no one is perfect... Not even anyone.. If God were looking for perfect people to teach the world who he is.. You would have seen angels in white rob everywhere preach on the world of God... Amen. When I was a child, I'm almost 51 now, I remember watching the film, "Jesus of Nazareth", and feeling sad that He did such great things, only to end up on a cross. I was too young to understand anything, but I knew that this man was not Jesus, it was just a movie telling a story that "moved" me. As an adult, it becomes more serious, because I have the knowledge of God's Word which says: *Exodus 20:4 (nkjv)* _4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image-any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;_ God speaks to us through His Son, and through His Word: *Hebrews 1:1-4 (nkjv)* _1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,_ _2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;_ My Lord within, says the same as you're Lord within, as He is One and the Same to all who Believe. I feel convicted not to watch these films, the directors of which use sinful actors to portray a Sinless Man, Christ Jesus and they find nothing wrong with this. They do not even care if the message is in the same zip code as God's Word, and they add "filler" that does not exist in God's Word. My jaw drops when I hear professing Christians say, "If it points people to Christ who cares!", but which version of Christ is it pointing if not the actual Christ as mentioned in His Word. If you want the truth, go to the source, and do not settle for the counterfeit. People do not want to read the Bible, they want something easy, and they want it explained in such a way that doesn't feel like a "wake me up" slap in the face. The devil comforts the world with lies. What you see happening with these religious movies like, "The Shack", "The Passion of Christ", "The Chosen", etc, is the same that is occuring within religion, and theology. They flatter God with their mouths, while their hearts are far from Him.
You're saying everything I was thinking! My pastor said the same thing when he said the actor that played in Passion of christ are in these other sinful movies and would use profanities. That's so mind-boggling to realize. I see a lot of people watching the chosen and i have seen clips of it and they totally changed everything and it is way to moderned and inaccurate.
How do you know though for sure that their hearts are far from God? Isn't that a bit judgmental, my dear brother in Christ? For it is only God who truly knows what is inside a man's heart. I agree that some of these films/shows may add things that aren't really in the Bible however, this is where caution takes place. Reading God's words should always be the number 1 priority. No TV shows/films should ever replace that habit. Also, please bear in mind that these shows open avenues for non-believers to think about faith. And I am one of those. God talked to me through The Chosen series. It made me want to read the Bible and praise our God, I did. We will never be able to find anyone who is "sinless" enough that can portray Jesus Christ because we all fall short of God's glorious standards. What we can do though is to pray for the people (actors, directors, etc.) who have worked on these films/shows that they may be touched by the Holy Spirit while doing the project. Because after all, it is God's words that are being portrayed here and being watched, not the life of these actors. May God bless you!

I think what the Lord might be trying to show you is that we shouldn’t idolize these actors, but instead pray for them and for their salvation. Some of them might be spiritually oppressed. Let’s have compassion for them, and pray that their implication in this show might light a fire in them, bring a true hunger for the Gospel, and a true longing for God.

Maybe God was trying to show you that Eventhough we see them in these sacred characters they’re still just human (just even like their characters). These characters, this series is not The Word itself and we would all do well to remember that; no matter how compelling the show, it’s not a replacement for His Word.
I like how the main actor plays Jesus… but that’s just it, He’s playing…. Bc Jesus didn’t celebrate All Hallows’ eve and align himself with anyone but God. This main guy is catholic (like kisses the pope’s hand catholic).
The director (you said) used to direct horror films, you wouldn’t want anyone not honoring who you are now bc of what they’ve remembered of who you used to be. I agree that although this show is telling a sacred story and portraying Jesus Himself, we should not idolise it and expect it or the story tellers to be perfect, only God is perfect.
Although accountability is necessary to ensure they give the right doctrine and share the heart of Jesus in accordance with the word, these people are neither the Word of God, nor are they God. I may be wrong in how I see this but this is a debatable thing(to watch or not to watch) and as Paul taught in Romans 14: do things according to your faith (for debatable things like allowed foods and clothes)...if your faith allows you to watch, watch, if it is sinful to you and your faith in God, then don't watch. Props to the author for her love and obedience in sharing what she felt God is saying and for being open to God's interpretation and others prayer💚

I'm a Christian, an old lady now, and I just wanted to gently ask if there coukd be a chance that the dark powers in the universe (demons) influenced your dreams in order to pull you away from watching the powerful message of the Gospel? We're supposed to test the spirits, so we know if it's of God. My humble observation is that through this beautiful production, many people who might otherwise not have the opportunity, are exposed to the gospel. These may be people who dont read, lonely, depressed, or sick people at home, and people who need a visual connection can see the message of hope come alive. I watched Jesus of Nazareth when I was young, and it changed my life. Jim Caviezel is a Christian, but there were many actors on the film who were not. I watched The Chosen and, after all my life as a Christian, responded to the series with tears of joy and wonder at the gift we have in our God who would take on flesh, come to Earth, love us, and take upon himself all humanity's atrocious sins, take away their power over us through his death, suffer agony, and give us his resurrected life now and in the world to come. The demons don't want that good news getting out there. You're a beautiful Christian woman and so brave to share your heart. I hope you dont mind me sharing a different view of how I see the Chosen. For me, its been a production of great blessing.

I wondered if these actors were actually Christians but the message and personification of the contents in the Bible has still better helped me connect with the Bible it made it feel even more real for me like I was watching history happen. If I got something good out of it then I imagine this is what god intended for me. And I hope those actors were touched by the role they played.

Very true. But recognize the difference between what the friend told her and what her dream told her. You cannot argue with a dream from the Lord. God told Moses that He speaks to people in dreams and visions and that in the last day our young people will dream dreams. The dream never said anything about those people's backgrounds. The dream used demons as a symbolic way to notify us that the show is being operated by demons. Those people don't have to be the demons. Those people in the show may not even know that they are being used by demons, but the dream is clear that God is letting it be known that demons are using the show. And I know how. I have never liked that show and have never really liked a lot of Bible movies and shows because show or not, the Book of Revelations says you cannot add or take out of God's Word. We cannot make shows or anything that has to do with God's Word, and add our own little scripts and flavor to it. If that show does not say word for word what every character in the Bible said and narrate it according to every word that was spoken in the Bible, that show is in abomination with God, because God said do not add or take anything out of His Word. That is why I said the actors must not know that they are being used by demons because most of them probably do not know that they are not supposed to add or take anything out of the Word, so they are being used by demons without knowing it, but I believe lots of them do know better, but only God knows.

Dallas Jenkins is the son of Jerry B. Jenkins who is the co-author of the Left Behind series. Dallas grew up in a Christian home. He has never directed horror films and for you to say that before doing research on him is wrong. Not everyone who does Christian films is filled with the spirit. But that doesn't mean they can't be during the filming. But even if they don't, I think that doing a Christian film impacts the actors in a good way for the rest of their lives. I think one of the main reasons I like this film so much is because it is written in the perspectives of the disciples. I absolutely support this film and will continue to do so.

I very much agree with this. It was one of the thoughts that entered my mind. I am a dreamer but I KNOW I have had dreams that did not manifest or turned out not to be from the Lord. She did say though that we should all pray about it. Secondly, I was going to ask her if perhaps she has reservations about the faith of some people linked to the show. Then she mentions Catholicism. I don't know why but I can only guess it is all efforts of the enemy to weaken the strength and authority of the church. - The Chosen has converted so many people and you have no idea about it.
- What the actors, producers or directors of the show think about has nothing to do with the show itself.
- Catholicism and pro-abortion shouldn't be in the same sentence. This is so offensive in so many ways.
- Your dreams are rarely revelations, and people in a conversion process often have nightmares. If you had a vision, go seek the truth, don't simply accept it.

The director did not do horror films. He did a film that was funded by blumehouse (a traditionally horror production company) but gave him full creativity to do what he wanted. Ended up doing a Christian movie. The movie flopped. And that’s the beginning of his testimony. You just need to look into this stuff before sharing your own interpretation of your dream. I’m not criticizing but this can be damaging if you don’t do the research on your own. It would be different if you just said the dream and left it for others to interpret. The Chosen is very good at making you feel good, which isn't a bad thing but we're talking about Jesus' teachings and scripture. If you're a believer, then that's not anything to play around with. And unfortunately the show is being ran by people who are molding the words of Jesus in ways that benefit the show to get more views. They're also adding content to make the show (gospel) more appealing to viewers. This is quite dangerous.
I admit, I did watch season 1 and 2 and I did enjoy it, and it also put the New Testament in better perspective for me. I can now read the Bible with far better understanding than ever before after watching the show.
I myself, will just simply know better and will approach such things with caution, and make sure to always study the Bible and not a television series.

In the Bible for someone to be a prophet they had to be 100% right 100% of the time. Other wise it just becomes suggestions or opinion. It’s a fine line. It is hard to tell without the Holy Spirit. It is hard ti be 100% right without God. The Bible speaks of fauls prophets that means they are not 100% right. Witch means they are fauls. It’s a fine line. That’s why we go to the word of God and pray and fast. And not go to some one’s opinion. No offense to anyone and I’m not calling anyone wrong. But I’m saying there’s room for interpretation. I agree with you dear one, but i would say that you should be graciously frank, the need to restore with gentleness those who are caught in sin in humbleness so we need to confront but gently correct those you know that are in sin or error. It’s a different gospel. They bow to statues and literally worship the Eucharist. They even call it “our Eucharistic Lord” and have adoration times for it - as it’s displayed in a metal box. I literally took my bible to read every time I watched the show. There's just been hunger in my soul for the revelation of God's word everytime I watched it
No offense but that was a whole lot of nothing from an argumentative POV. saying Jonathan is Catholic to discredit his Christianity and credentials to be an actor on this show is ridiculous, the show never pretends to be a substitute for the Bible or even Biblically based, its a historical drama on the life of Jesus, not a Scriptural series. I am a Christian as well but if you want to claim these actors arent worthy to play these fictionalized versions of Biblical figures, ask yourself who is worthy?

I didn't watch your whole video, because...I think that was Satan coming into your dreams, trying to take a very very good thing and make it bad in your mind. If you will go watch the thousands of testimonies from people that the show has drawn closer to God, has them reading their Bibles and going to church. Giving their lives over to Jesus. Maybe then you can see the GREAT things this show has done. Myself included. I was saved at young age and then with life getting in the way and of course Satan being there to lie and lure me away, I was a big backslider!! I started watching this show and it has changed me forever! I have re-dedicated myself to The Lord, been baptized and yes reading my Bible and The word of God.. all because this show!! It opened up my eyes and heart in a new way. It let's you see that these people in the Bible were real people with real lives. I think you've got it all wrong.. it was Satan coming into your dreams. You see he hates that there is a Biblical Revolution happening in this world now.. in these crazy messed up times, so of course he's going to try and stomp all over anything good!
There's a section where James, referred to as "the cripple," asks why Jesus didn't heal him. Firstly, search the scriptures to find any reference where James is described as being crippled THERE ISN'T. And if you locate such a reference, try to find an instance where Jesus did not heal him. Attention to detail is crucial for the show, and that particular segment nearly deceived me.

Dallas even said that some actors didn't even believe in god before taking their role but then came to believe while witnessing certainthings. Every last one of us is filled with the holy spirit but some just not activated it yet. This show just may be the blessing those ppl need to activate the holy spirit. Like another said. The thing is, you cannot judge the actors and act like they should be somehow unblemished. They are human. Jesus was the only one who was without sin. You can’t expect any person to play Jesus’s or his disciples or his mother to be perfect. The director isn’t perfect either. I used to have dreams like the one you had about the actors. I had that type of dream about my own family years ago. A demon possessing them and laughing like that. Of course the enemy doesn’t want people to watch the show and get anything positive out of it because it glorifies god. It’s sparking a connection with him. Believers and non believers alike. Demons will often be in your dreams not because they are showing you that the people they possess are evil, but because they are trying to trick you. Those demons you saw are trying to confuse you and make you think they there is something wrong with the show or the people creating it. That’s how the enemy keeps people from experiencing god. By trying to block his works. Don’t let them fool you.

If someone who did not know Christ before they watched the series the Chosen and God Himself decides to use these imperfect directors and actors to lead them to repentance, who are you to say otherwise...... Christians should really stop trying to "police" every single Christian show that comes out when in reality it is still a tool God, if He so chooses, He can use it to bring glory to Him and His Son. The objective of watching these shows and these shows being produced is to reach people who do not know the Lord! The Chosen has won many people to Christ and inspired many to explore God’s word. Think about the fact that this is the only resource some people may have in getting to know the Lord. Let’s not be so deep about it.
We need to be deep because The Lord is very serious about His kingdom and we are in a spiritual war against the enemy who is the prince and power of the air. The road is narrow and few people find it. The devil comes to steal kill and destroy and he comes as an angel of light to deceive the masses.

Be cautious, it is not our job to condemn people. If you have proper conviction, authenticated with factual proof, that is one thing. However, claiming truth against your fellow human is a direct disobedience of God's commandment. Thou shall not bare false witness. Hello, as a member of Aroze Society, the message is what matters and people who watch are actually coming to christ, also I understand your concern with the Actors, but I don't think no actor act the same as the character they play because it's acting ofc, although production companies aren't focus on who's the holiest, their focused on who can fulfil the role, so I don't think the show is bad in any way because the meaning of the show still stands, no matter who it's from, either the message is true or false, we should be able to identify as believer and followers of christ... and we know not to idolize these characters hahaha.

The reason I stopped watching after about 3 episodes was simply because I felt the show took too much liberty to actually change what the Bible clearly says. Rather than stick to what the Bible actually says they basically made a bunch of stuff up about what they thought "might have happened." This to me is a dangerous way to go. There have been very worldly and unsaved people in almost all movies about Christ and the gospels. However, this series changes things too much for my liking. I actually had a brief interaction with the man who I think is the main one behind the series on the net after I had watched episode one and mentioned this very thing about the story that should have been taken from Luke 4:16-21 where Jesus quotes from Isaiah 61:1 is totally changed. I instantly didn't like it since this is a VERY profound scripture and I do not believe for a single second that this happened a second time during the ministry of Jesus. I firmly believe this was a one time event, never to be repeated.
I understand a movie or program like this may need to extrapolate, basically make some things up to fill in the story to make it more interesting and perhaps that is fine as long as the Bible narrative is not changed. However when you change what actually happened as revealed in God's word, that is wrong imho and should never be done. The Bible does say that if all the works of Jesus were written the world could not contain the books that SHOULD be written. In the 3 episodes I watched I felt it was making too much stuff up that was different from what the bible actually says. John 21:25 "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen."

We really do have to be observant of the fruit. It was only Holy Spirit that led me to do research on the actors and actresses. Even with gospel music I had to remove some artists from my collection.

one night I had a dream where I was surrounded by people and they encouraged me to give in to that addiction with saying "we know you said you gave it up and made a promise to God, but just one time won't hurt", I gave in, and immediately those people turned demonic and chastised me with "how could you *ever* go back on your promise? how could God *ever* love someone that does that? you're a fraud!" as I start to panic.

If all you know of the bible comes from shows and other preachers you're doing yourself a disservice, because the word in it's entirety is perfect and will break you, shows like The Chosen will only give a glimpse and can sometimes not portray what the word truly means.

Remember no one is perfect... Not even anyone.. If God were looking for perfect people to teach the world who he is.. You would have seen angels in white rob everywhere preach on the world of God... Or what he does while he sleeps in the night.. The dreams he had... Or what he does while he was lonely in a day in the total numbers of his 30 plus years on earth.. So such revelation could be shown to anyone.. Though that doesn't make us to believe no judge such revelation but we should pray to have it ourselves to confirm what is been spoken to us...

Crazy I just came across this after I saw a video of the cast having a little party and noticed a bottle of burbon in the background. The show is def blessed but this is an important realization that we need to all remember they are just people playing roles, and many have serious downfalls like the rest of us. Some times demons show up in dreams not every dream is a relaxation from God. And you taking someone’s opinion as confirmation from the Holy Spirit. What did the word of God say. Not a friends opinion. Also in the Bible God used sinners and people that didn’t believe in to still do his work. And it’s not truth about the chosen if your information is speculative. What people did in the past has nothing to do with what the Holy Spirit is doing now with the show. More people are seeing the word of God more then ever. In history. That’s great work. Also I’ve know very great and devote catholic Christian’s. That actually believe in Jesus. I’m not saying you’re wrong. I’m saying be weary. Satan and his demons love disguises. This sounds like a dream... Not a vision. The key to that being just a dream is how you said you were confused. The Spirit doesn't lead us to confusion. Nor does the spirit guide us to answers through contention, such as the article basically defaming actors. So what if they're not the people they play? Stop defaming people and a show, and hating on a group of people and saying it's from God. Your inspiration 100% is NOT from God because He Himself has said that that which leads us to do evil, that which fills us with a spirit of contention is NOT from Him. And your words, your logic are all hate filled. You're basically calling us to also hate a group of strangers because they don't fit your vision of what true Christians are supposed to look like. Who cares if an actress supports abortion? Who cares if one is catholic? Who cares if the sets they film on are owned by the LDS Church? There's nothing wrong with having a political view, there's nothing wrong with being Catholic, and there's nothing wrong with the LDS Church. Perhaps you should re-watch this, do an inventory of yourself, and ask yourself how you're actually feeling, and how the Spirit speaks to us. If we are confused, it is not revelation. Nor is behavior that leads others to hate lead in any way by the Spirit.

Please focus on the fact that this show has people watching the Lord! I grew up in church twice on Sunday and once on Wednesday! Became a teenager started selling crack and other drugs, turned to gangs! I would go to tent revivals and show up at random churches on Sundays! I was the only white kid in my neighborhood, I was shot a few times made a lot of money from the streets. Then one day the twin towers fell. I watched it with a Muslim man from a gas station in Spartanburg sc I couldn’t stop crying. He told me your god “Jesus” is calling you for something! How powerful a year later I was in Afghanistan! Fast foward to a month ago, I was beaten down and suicidal my mother told me to watch the show! She said focus on the cross!!!! I couldn’t take my eyes of his words but every time it showed a cross I broke down! This show isn’t for Christian’s ma’am it’s for me and people like me! Please focus on the cross!❤

As a Catholic, for a question what is wrong with us Catholics to you (other Christians)? If you read the originally translated bible (all before Martin Luther) Jesus tells to be a Christian and describes Catholics, so my question is why would you chose to listen to a bible that verses were hand picked by a man?

It may be helpful and rewarding but we must be careful to read the Bible ourselves I was informed that the actor who plays Jesus quotes the Book of Mormon in the show and to me that is playing with fire. I'm going to be very careful about saying this at this moment, the one thing i noticed is their merchandising, they're t-shirts, sweatshirts ect.
Are very, very expensive, now i understand that's one way to make money & could very well be going into paying cast members (which by the way is public information) and including how much the crew & writer/ director is making. I was shocked to find out that the guy that did the movie over last summer "Sound of Freedom" is Mormon, then I remembered his wife on the phone w him during the movie when they pulled his funds & said to come back to the U.S, his wife on the phone stated " I will not have you jeopardizing our salvation ( through works ) remembered Mormons believe in Works, not the free gift of salvation through faith, so I question when you put a paid cast together of unbelievers together with this, your heart should be all in to help pull souls out of literally falling into the pits of hell....
Merchandising is the #1 way that bands make millions & millions, plus there have been many donating for this project, wonder if the people live in big expensive homes & fancy cars to go with it???? Just a thought.

2. Just because demons took over the show in your dreams doesn't mean that the show is demonic. If anything those are your demons, after all its you're dream. And dream's usually reveal the nature of your own soul before they speak to what's out there objectively.
That's the trouble with Evangelical types and the "spirit filled", that's why I left to become Roman Catholic. Everything that feels bad is bad to you guys. You've got no grit. If its unpleasant or even slightly off to what you anticipate then, its demon possessed and evil. Ya'll are just like the character Schmuel in the show. John the Baptist doesn't "say the right things" so he must be demon possessed. Same logic the Pharisees employed when they said Jesus did miracles by Beelzebul.

I sinner can say nice things and word to lead you to Jesus it doesn't mean they are save but the most important thing is that did you get thr message the sinner you think the person is said you you... You should be more caring for your own life rather than the person.. Because God that uses them or allowed them or whatever prompts them to talk to you will also one use something or he God himself might appear to them and make them change..
Another point is that... Yes the chosen is out of some written in the Bible but that doesn't brings arguments or condemnation.. It's same as when our pastors or apostles came up with new knowledge either by studies or revelation from God (as they may say)... Are we going to say those revelations or studies are not in the Bible so we should not take note of them if we can see that they are truths in whatever the revelation or something they say might be true? No... We believe them because even the Bible says the whole world can't contain his words.. Which is why the holy Spirit reveals things to his children everyday.. So we should not judge the chosen if they decided to act the Jesus portrait in another dimension that might be the revelation they had concerning him from the holy Spirit which has changed many people's ideology of their believing in Christ and help them more getting closer to God...
Remember no one is perfect... Not even anyone.. If God were looking for perfect people to teach the world who he is.. You would have seen angels in white rob everywhere preach on the world of God... But in the imperfect men God speaks and lead people to himself while he deal with the imperfect men himself...
For me I don't know or want to know who the actors are... (Some things are better not known) all I want and know is that the chosen has helped me in my seeing of Jesus to whom personality he was while he was in the world and I found fulfilment... If the actors are not perfect just as I'm.. I know one day.. God will deal with their imperfections as he would for me by his mercy an forgiveness which everyone needs...
Jesus never calls a perfect man.. Them that are healthy needs no physician but them that are sick...
No wonder all his disciples are all sinners before he transformed them and he never did that one day.. Most of them til he died and back to heaven they don't even know what they were doing...
So I won't advise anyone to criticize the chosen.. Because the message is to lead people to the cross not for the actors to lead people to themselves.. No one reading the Bible now saw Jesus while alive in the world... And even the Bible did not write out what Jesus did at age 3 or what he does while away from Herod in Egypt.. Or what he does while he sleeps in the night.. The dreams he had... Or what he does while he was lonely in a day in the total numbers of his 30 plus years on earth.. So such revelation could be shown to anyone.. Though that doesn't make us to believe no judge such revelation but we should pray to have it ourselves to confirm what is been spoken to us...
The chosen is up to save lives not to condemn it nor it's actors...
If you don't learn the dimensions of this world or the world that has happened past and believe what only that is written you won't go far because not everything is written... Not even whatever trespasses during the isrealite coming out of Egypt is wholy written but the most important ones were pointed out... (How did you intended to script a daily live of over 400souls in a book) but we can see that we had the most important message but other things left untold could be reveale which can help someone but we should not judge it nor condemn it nor say it is not written.. If we ourselves believe in revelation from the holy Spirit as promised by Jesus that when he comes he will show us all things which means they are other things not written then we should keen to these revelations in actions from the chosen especially when they are positive.. Not thinking otherwise...
And for your dream... Remember the spiritual world or or dreams is open to many channels... Anything can lead you into having dreams.. Especially when we are not filled with the holy Spirit.. Devilish spirit can lead us into false revelations.. I'm not saying yours is false but some things should be rather kept to ourselves and pray to God for revelations concerning our lives in such things rather than exposing others to follow something you don't really know yet if it's surely from God..
Dreams are places of many encounter... It takes God grace and walking with him to have real revelations from dreams.. Because many people has been decieved from it..al we should be careful how we interpret them because it might mean different things... What if we say you were lead in your dream to say this and lead many out of their already convictions in Christ through watching chosen.. Merely because of the people that acted the scene... Without knowing that God actually need them to act it to save lives not God bringing angels to act it to save lives... I believe your dreams is meant to be analyze by yourself and remain within you...

When I was a child, I'm almost 51 now, I remember watching the film, "Jesus of Nazareth", and feeling sad that He did such great things, only to end up on a cross. I was too young to understand anything, but I knew that this man was not Jesus, it was just a movie telling a story that "moved" me. As an adult, it becomes more serious, because I have the knowledge of God's Word which says: *Exodus 20:4 (nkjv)* _4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image-any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;_
God speaks to us through His Son, and through His Word:

My Lord within, says the same as you're Lord within, as He is One and the Same to all who Believe. I feel convicted not to watch these films, the directors of which use sinful actors to portray a Sinless Man, Christ Jesus and they find nothing wrong with this. They do not even care if the message is in the same zip code as God's Word, and they add "filler" that does not exist in God's Word.
My jaw drops when I hear professing Christians say, "If it points people to Christ who cares!", but which version of Christ is it pointing if not the actual Christ as mentioned in His Word. If you want the truth, go to the source, and do not settle for the counterfeit. People do not want to read the Bible, they want something easy, and they want it explained in such a way that doesn't feel like a "wake me up" slap in the face. The devil comforts the world with lies.
What you see happening with these religious movies like, "The Shack", "The Passion of Christ", "The Chosen", etc, is the same that is occuring within religion, and theology. They flatter God with their mouths, while their hearts are far from Him.
You're saying everything I was thinking! My pastor said the same thing when he said the actor that played in Passion of christ are in these other sinful movies and would use profanities. That's so mind-boggling to realize. I see a lot of people watching the chosen and i have seen clips of it and they totally changed everything and it is way to moderned and inaccurate.

How do you know though for sure that their hearts are far from God? Isn't that a bit judgmental, my dear brother in Christ? For it is only God who truly knows what is inside a man's heart.
I agree that some of these films/shows may add things that aren't really in the Bible however, this is where caution takes place. Reading God's words should always be the number 1 priority. No TV shows/films should ever replace that habit.
Also, please bear in mind that these shows open avenues for non-believers to think about faith. And I am one of those. God talked to me through The Chosen series. It made me want to read the Bible and praise our God, I did.
We will never be able to find anyone who is "sinless" enough that can portray Jesus Christ because we all fall short of God's glorious standards. What we can do though is to pray for the people (actors, directors, etc.) who have worked on these films/shows that they may be touched by the Holy Spirit while doing the project. Because after all, it is God's words that are being portrayed here and being watched, not the life of these actors.

The truth is, you believe in God the Father, the son and the holy spirit, but the doctrine at which you guys worship and serve the Lord is wrong and very contradicting to the scripture. The traditions of the Catholic is not biblical and against the will of God according to the scripture.
Many are decieved by those false teachers because they think since they believe in Jesus it's ok, even if the serve him with pagan traditions, but it's wrong. You can name them, the Jehovah witness, the Catholic, the Mormon, seventh day Adventist and so on. They all believe in Christ, but hold many false doctrines and traditions even some of pagan origin and say we all serve one God. Which the Bible warns us about.
There is only one God Jehovah, one Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit and also one biblical doctrine, as well as one kingdom of heaven.

Even the voluntarily worship of Angels and mary and use of Symbols and icons for prayers and worship alone should make you run away, since its clearly against the word of God.
