Hello there, so I was thinking to sell the sheet music / TAB and after contacting the music publisher to ask for the permission, the publisher informed me that I need to pay for advance royalty, 300 USD, before I am able to sell the TAB on my website. Things considered I think it's quite pricey so wiIl save some money until I can afford for the royalty, meanwhile I need to consider whether the decision to pay for the 300 USD royalty is worthed since it may not be worth-doing if later, for example, only 10 people will buy the TAB (since the sheet music will cost 3 USD, so that means I get 30 USD from the selling and it will not make up for the 300 USD that I spent to get the permission from the publisher). 150 likes here (therefore 150 people who’re planning on buying the TAB) means that from 450 USD that I get from the selling shall compensate for the 300 USD royalty fee. I hope this’ll explain why the TAB is unavailable for the moment and thanks for your understanding!

I had contacted the music publisher and I need to pay certain fee to get the license and currently waiting to see how much people who are planning to purchase the TAB in the future (thus the “like” to help me estimate how many people thinking of purchasing the TAB). However if by next year the number doesn’t reach 150 (if it’s confirmed that there are 150 people who want to buy the TAB then it will be enough to cover the fee to process the license), I consider contacting the publisher again if I can legally distribute the TAB for free (for non-commercial use), as soon as the TAB becomes available I’ll let you know in this comment section! 🙂

Hi there, after listening to the song again I’d like to make an edit on this part that plays around 1:21 and 2:40 (bar 30 and bar 61 on the sheet music and gp5 file), instead of x02x1x, x2xxxx, xx2xxx, x2xxxx, xxxx0x, xxxx1x, I think I prefer that section to be 0xxx1x, xx2xxx, xxx0xx, xx2xxx, xxxx0x, xxxx1x to match up with the song. I am going to re-edit the sheet music and gp5 file as soon as my hands recover from the injury, cheers! :)

It will be a while for me to work on the next arrangement since my hands are currently suffering from injury (doctor diagnosed me with nerve inflammation, possibly ulnar tunnel syndrome) which might be due to the combination of excessive guitar playing and typing on computer’s keyboard. I LOVE this. Takes me right back to Ursula's Blade Quest, and that torigonda performance. (The instrument, not the town.) I did note that the torigonda doesn't sound EXACTLY like the guitar. So maybe the torigonda is based off a similar instrument?
S B I agree it really sounds similar to the tune that was played on the torigonda 😃, my knowledge about the sidequests actually are limited since I watched the Let's Play videos and did not play the game myself, when you mentioned torigonda in the comment I did not have any idea about what it is until I checked and watched the sidequest on RUclips (now you mention it I'd say the instrument probably has more similarity to a lute rather than to a guitar considering the amount of strings and the instrument shape 😅)

thanks man! :D, I suspect the injury was caused by overplaying and awkward playing position (which I really did not have the idea back then), I think it's also because I played a guitar which size doesn't really fit me comfortably, it's a standard 650 mm length guitar which I think is the standard size that most classical guitar in the market has but I found size of guitar like Yamaha C40 to be more comfortable (Yamaha C40 is actually 650 mm length as well, but I think its body is narrower than Alhambra 4PA that I played on the video), I did so much finger stretches and repetitive plucking (for example the part between 0:38 - 0:46) and had I done these on Yamaha C40, my hands might not have been injured that time, it’s really bad since according to the doctor the part that got injured could be tendon or nerve which takes relatively longer time to recover than, say, if I suffered from muscle injury instead (I saw on a certain guitar forum that someone stops playing guitar for 5 years because of the wrist tendon injury, man I hope my situation doesn’t end up like that). Btw could you recommend me some fun “Let’s Play” videos by Mexican youtoubers (I watched your RUclips channel and it seems that you are into gaming as well)? I’d love to learn Spanish and I think it’ll be very fun if I get to learn by listening to native Latin Americans commentating on my favorite games like Final Fantasy IX, Chrono Cross, and Persona 5, thanks man! 😃

I class mate once got a problem related on his leg due to a fall (thanks to the stupid bottle flip challenge). He could heal hopefully. I´m happy to know you want to learn spanish! The best way to learn another language, is watching/reading/listening to the stuff you like but in the language you want to learn. You have a good taste in videogames! I´m not sure about mexican youtubers whom play those JRPGs on specific. But i can tell you about a few good ones: -Plano de Juego This channel its wonderful. A guy called Champ makes very deep videogame analysis about mechanics and goes around a lot of games (EarthBound as example). And the best one i can recommend you is MissaSinfonía. I laugh a lot when watching his videos. He uses a lot of slang and he is very witty. He stands out a lot by reacting to a poor mexican show called "La rosa de Guadalupe". The show it´s terrible by any mean. But the way he makes the reacts are genuine. For real, the best.
