Scrabble… but the value of the word is multiplied by the length of the word.
So the base value of SCRABBLE would be 14x8=112, while QI would only be 11x2=22
I feel like this would incentivize playing longer words, and finding plays with a QU.

I wonder what percentage of opening racks don't have any words longer than 5 letters, 4 letters, etc...

BestBot seems flawless when ahead like this. When it gets behind it seems to make more weird plays I've noticed.
And maybe saving a great blocking tile in the V for later when it played taliped swayed it's decision on that play.
Yeah, agreed for sure. If only it would stop being ahead so often, haha!

Did you consider trade on the first turn?
It's not quite bad enough to trade -- the thing is, if I trade I'm probably keeping S or SS, there's nothing amazing to keep if I trade. YOUS is still 14 points and keeps SOY, which is worse than S or SS but not all that much worse since I still do keep an S. If I could keep like ERS or maybe even ES I'd more strongly consider trading, but the thing is with trading you always have to think about what the best leave you can keep is, which just isn't that strong here
