I believe that if you remove scene transitions the workflow between scenes is much faster. the video and ram need for the orbit and cutting information is huge window>model info>enable scene transitions
Hi. Do you Export your pdf in Medium Quality or High? Trying to create high quality pdfs for both web and print. Do you use a program such as Adobe Acrobat Pro to resize or compress the pdf's if still too large. If so, does that have any effect on the quality of the print. I can't find answers to my questions anywhere. Thank you very much for your tutorials, they are great.
Hi Nick Thank you, a fantastic set of tutorials. They have really helped me in my construction drawings with SketchUp pro and layout. Can you tell me how you managed to have different sketchUp files or Layout files open on separate tabs on your computer. I'm running a Mac with Yosemite and I can't find a single way to have several files open without them being in different windows. You seem to have them on tabs. Regards David
Hooray for Layout.
im a huge fan of your style of approach sir, where do u get your WINDOWS & DOORS libraries again?

I use a Wacom Intuous 5. In this video it was my old Intuous 3 I wouldn't use anything else.
Hi Nick,
Interested to see that you are using a graphics tablet. How does that work with the zoom controls please?
Danretymusic- try adding the trees in SU, not LO. That should solve your problem.

Shadows and Materials do not show in Vector mode, only in Raster are they depicted correctly. Use vector mode for line work only.
I can't seem to get shadows & materials to show up when in vector mode. Is there a setting I;m missing or is my graphics card not good enough?
I see where you use grid lines a lot in your drawings. What is the purpose behind laying out grid lines? I'm not an architect as you can see.
Thank You VERY MUCH
SketchUp Masta!!!
