This is the current design of the country. It's broken. Have to have money to make money and people don't have money. It's better to try and plan to leave and move out of the country in my opinion. I literally wish I wasn't born in the US. It's not worth it. The chronic systemic problems in the country are not even talked about which means nothing will get fixed in our lifetimes. In fact, there is a lot of money being used by both major political parties and their donors to keep it that way.
Money can't buy happiness, unless you make less than approx. $75k per year. Beyond that, I don't think it really helps. But below $75k/yr, yeah, you can totally buy happiness, up to a point. And that point is.... drumroll.... $75k/yr hahaha
