90 mm of pen with 900 alpha is absolutely brutal and the 270 pen with 630 simply works really well. More armor than ISU and versatility with that semi rotational turret. A hybrid of TD and super heavy. The Excalibur went to the gym and came back as gigachad.
270mm is indeed not quite the usual pen you have at Tier 8... I've just checked for 50TP pr which is "average/good", with gold, even on the lowerplate I don't get 100% chance penetration anywhere... 93% at best... XM57 armor seems really good to me
You guys needs to understand gold rounds which are APCR are objectively worse then AP, due to lower normalization and most heavy tanks at tier 8 have APCR gold rounds. So even those 240-260mm pen APCR rounds are just straight up worse than a 270mm pen AP

i mean, most of tanks in tier 8 firing gold only have 250+, and we haven't count people play tier 8 to farm credits, which means many normal rounds been fired at it.

Compare this to the XM57. Do you feel like you have a balanced tier 8 tank? The Borsig is feeling pretty bad in this situation. The XM57 has armor, pen, and good enough gun handling to bully the front lines with ease. The fact that you directly compare them based on nothing but damage per shot tells me everything I need to know about how good/bad you are at the game. Hint: you're bad, and you love the introduction of overpowered tanks that you can use to feel as if you're not bad at the game. Case closed.

Hell no its not even close to BZ. That thing not only does it have better armor, it has crazy mobility + boosters. This is just a marginally better armored proto with a turret.
This tank has everything that the Kiliana-Blyskawica line lacks. Reliable good alpha that doesn't disappear after 150 meters, amazing gun traverse angles, actual 155mm shell that can overmatch plates you'd expect.

You were reading the paper wrong. The reason gun handling felt better than on paper is because you focused too much on the less relevant parts. For a tank that has a turret or a very wide gun arc, the most important gun handling stats is dispersion during gun traverse and it seems this tank have that particular stat on par with some of the best tier 10 mediums.
@@soldier22881 artillery is the only thing balancing the OP tanks with no weak points and prevents them from taking one position the whole game and trying to farm others while hull down. no free to play player would even consider playing if there were no arty. sure lefh is toxic but so are so many regular tanks. matches with no arty especially in high tiers basically come down to who spam more gold and get lucky. its frustrating and not fun. as long as wg refuse to nerf premium tanks and/or buff tech tree tanks, especially all tanks in tier 6 and 7 and give tier 5 special matchmaking, the game will never be balanced. should wg ever think about balancing the game they can easily do so. they dont even give tailored MM to some OP tanks meaning that both teams must have same amount of OP tanks or not at all. there must be some balance

I feel like I'm going to have a lot of fun with this tank. To me it somewhat looks like a T95 with semi-rotatable gun/turret (?) Even though the armor of it doesn't look that great on the 3d model, the enemies don't seem to know how to penetrate it yet. The gun looks crazy powerful. Base penetration is pretty high already, although I wish it had a bit higher shell velocity. Even the HE penetration of 90 is crazy. Looks a bit like the soviet tds with that amount of penetration.

I watched a lot of Content Creators on this Tank and I disagree. All of them just look at it as a normal Tank and say that it is not very good. For us casual people this tank is very very good. U can just drive in and do 3 shots in 30 seconds with 270 pen on tier 8 (that means u are going to pen those) and do 2k dmg. That will make you enough credits for sure. It will be by far the easiest creditmaking tank there is for casual players in my opinion.
When i got this tank i was scared because how bad it looked but after 10 games i can say that it turned out surprisingly good. It is pretty easy to average 4k dmg with gun like this
Everybody is comparing it to excalibur, I do not see that other than the goofy turret. What I DO see is a cross breed of the T28 and T28 prot. Has some frontal armor, has semi rotational turret, has better than average pen and damage. Get to it's side or rear it is just meat on a platter. Even the same speed as those 2.
Yet another BZ loot box disaster. Power creep and anyone without one of these is screwed. Every t8 tank I have has to roll high gold ammo pen just to pen the lower plate. Yeah anyone say money grab at the expense of enjoyable games.
This thing gets some absolutely ridiculous bounces even with its side, hull down its pretty decently armored too. The alpha is also really crazy, great HE, decent mobility for the armor... Yeah, it's pretty good

So we got ourselves a tanker bug from starship troopers. Gun can be derpy but 155mm overmatch many silly plates here an there so hitting is very often enough.
I'm not sure why you put reviewers in quotation marks. Lots of players, have bond or bounty equipment on most if not all of their tanks. Doubly so if they have WoT + where they can move the bounty equipment around freely.

This is bad they are adding this op tank in the game, This not only have a good armor but it can pen almost any tank without any problem and the worse part is it has 600+ alpha damage. These days too many of these in the game and I dont think anybody is enjoying the game. Because tanks like this will two shot a tank that took weeks to grind and fully upgrade.
Im doing great in mine so far.. and the accuracy...what gives its on paper like .42 but mine always seems to hit.. dont know why but it does so im not complaining. its like some higher accuracy guns never hit crap... dont know why but its working for me so far..ended up top in damage in a tier X MM a few times.
Bro... after installing your reticle mod i instantly had a 7k dmg game in my FV... turns out i had a weird bug all my gamelife where the gun bloomed A LOT with every little movement... that all gone now also i can take way more shots now that the circle isn't capped at certain zoom lvls... i played 50 game now and went from 2,8k wn8 to 3,5k... wtf true potential unlocked

Playing vk100.01P now is awful. It has 220 base, 240prem penetration. If player of xm57 knows what he is doing, you cant do anything.

That's if you don't get penetrated by HE, because it packs 900 alpha with 90 mm of pen, which is actually brutal to shoot sideways at lower tiers.

Bro... after installing your reticle mod i instantly had a 7k dmg game in my FV... turns out i had a weird bug all my gamelife where the gun bloomed A LOT with every little movement... that all gone now also i can take way more shots now that the circle isn't capped at certain zoom lvls... i played 50 game now and went from 2,8k wn8 to 3,5k... wtf true potential unlocked
