I remember when I first saw Glen. His then wife Billie Jean was from my home town of Carlsbad, New Mexico. His in-laws lived a couple of blocks from my home. He was visiting and we decided to go see what he looked like. Me and my sisters walked over. I was so painfully shy but my older sister Linda went inside and got his signture. I looked in the front window and saw Glen sitting in a chair with his wife. She was beautiful and had the longest black hair I ever saw. I will never forget this! I'm so sorry Glen is having to go through this damn illness. Love you Glen.

This song breaks my heart too. When I hear it it makes me want to cry which isn't a bad thing sometimes. Sometimes, we just need to let our souls cry. What strikes me the most I think besides the words that are so poignant is his voice. It's so clear and strong. The older he's gotten his voice has gotten even better not like some singers who lose their voices. God bless you Glen and please know, we love you so much.

As I age and start losing long-held memories, my main comfort is knowing that I won't be aware of my deteriorating condition. It will be hard on my wife, but I won't feel a thing. I won't even miss her. Sounds harsh, but it's easier this way, for both of us.

My companion is in a asst living facility for Alzheimer's.when I call or see him I know he doesn't miss me because he is in a world where in his mind he never left.I am the one hurting.Crying and miss "him" so much.I am the one that is alone.My love don't stop.he tells me he loves me and he will be home Tomorrow but for me it never gets here.He doesn't miss me and that's what hurts me the most.
