This tablet sounds like a great value for the price. I was a student when I bought my first cintiq 13inch for 500$ and that was a huge investment to me at the time. If I had this option then I would’ve bought this tablet instead and save the 200$ to budget for a better pc.
Yes indeed! That's how I would feel. At the same time when you do earn enough, I still think wacom is worth the extra money, but its great to see another good competitor!
I have the XPPEN15.6PRO and absolutely love it. I had compared it against the wacom cintiq 16 and felt the XPPEN was better (for me) I am a student with a limited budget and this tablet gets the job done. it all comes down to preference and budget. I use the tablet with my macbook pro (which took a big chunk of my budget lol) love your content!
Hii, can I ask something?? Are you still using your xp pen artist 15.6 pro? Is it still good or not?? I'm thinking buying in couple months so can you share your experiences with me? Thanks in advance for the answer ^^
I am still using my xppen 15.6 pro and its still works! I was using it alot the first few months after buying it and now use it a few times a week. the only downside is all the cables unfortunately. I dont have a desk to keep it in place all the time so I have to keep setting it up and all those cables are a pain in the butt. other than that I still use it and it still works. If I need to upgrade I would definitely go bigger! (but this size is 15.6 is good enough). definitely consider all your options and research the products. I love my xppen I just hate all those cables
Thank you, Mitch, for the review. I've already ordered XP-Pen tablet, but the 15.6 pro :) Now I'm sure that I made the right choice 👍 Really great review
Hi bro ... Could u share me ur experience with the 15.6 pro which u brought??... Bkz am planning for it but am stuck between wacom 16 Hd and xp pen 15.6 pro.. Thank u and waiting for ur reply..
@@shashwatpradhan1976 Hi :) I hope this week it should come to me, I ordered it from AliExpress from the official Xp-Pen store, I can send you a link to the tablet if you need ) I spent a long time reading reviews and looking at reviews on this tablet before ordering
@@MitchArt Oh, thank you! Yes, this is my first display tablet. Before that, I only drew on Wacom Bamboo and Wacom Intuos. The only thing that worries me is whether my hand will interfere with me while drawing on the display? :)
My head hurts each time I watch people draw or write with their right hand, lol. Is this the same for right-handed people when they watch us lefties draw/write, I wonder? It's as if my brain knows there's something not "right", but it can't really determin, what.
I am generally surprised to see how many artist youtubers draw with left hand. When I studied at the art school and university - 98% were right-handed. Perhaps it is an 'artist-youtuber" feature.
Sorry another question. Will it be easy to connect to my PC as the HDMI port is at the back of my computer. Is the HDMI cable quite short and if so, would an HDMI cable extender work for it? Thanks!
Hi! If you have the budget I would go for the wacom, but if you want to safe some money the XP pen 15.6 is a good choice. And yeah the price difference is really big.
I have the XP Pen 15.6 Pro a week ago and I am very, very happy with it. In the future I may go for a Wacom 16 but this is a very good tablet. The only thing I don't get used to with her is with the Stand of a single position. Sorry for my English translated haha.
@@angelmtos the stand that comes with the tablet is a portable one and that's why it has only one stand position, if you get the original xp pen stand (around 50 dollars) you can adjust the position more freely.
I've had this tablet just today and it's been working fine for my laptop and it just will not cooperate with my PC. Whenever I try turning it on it just says "no signal" and shuts off. How can I fix it? thank you.
Muchas gracias!
i had this for a couple of months and the screen has begun to flicker. i have not abused it or anything like that, it just started flickering. apparently a lot of xp-pen tablets have similar issues and there are not many ways to fix it. :/
Sounds like when the copy beat the original. Way more functions than a Cintiq have much cheaper. only question I have as I am a left handed "artist" does that drawing glove fit well on the lef hand or did they only thought of right handed people?
i want to ask about the connectivity of this tablet. is this an autonomous tablet and I can use it without PC or its necessary to use a PC? Also does it need psu? so I can't get it with me outside. can you explain to me those queries?
This might be a daft question but if I draw a lot of stuff which is taller rather than wider then could I just rotate the tablet on the stand? Or wouldn't it fit right? Or cause other issues? Thanks!
Question: Hi! How did you get the software to show on the tablet, and not on the MacBook Pro computer screen? I am using Clip Studio Paint, but it keeps mirroring both MacBook Pro computer screen and Xp-pen tablet screen. I would like to watch video tutorials on the computer screen while I paint on the tablet screen. Any suggestions?
Hello i just got into a artist school where i will animate 2d and 3d things and i have been looking at this graphic tablet for a really long time but i don't know if i can animate on it.. so i wanted to ask if you can animate on it?
Depends on your situation. But I would start with a regular tablet (no screen) because those are way cheaper and great to start drawing with. Could take some time to get used to not looking where you draw. For beginners, I would actually recommend drawing in your sketchbook a lot.
Hmm I think it would’ve been nicer if the review was more in depth. Like in what ways the tablet did or did not do better than Wacom if you’re comparing. I feel that you’ve only said that the Wacom is better quality, not why it’s better quality. BUT, this was a great review even so :)
I bought XP pens cheapest ($23 currently) tablet G430s about half a year ago and I'm really impressed with the performance. 8000 pressure levels, 266 rps, battery free stylus etc.. it's very small but I don't need bigger since I'm just drawing for fun, even their large drawing tablets are affordable, maybe I'll buy a bigger one later. This small one is perfect for my old Lenovo windows 8.1 8 inch tablet to draw on, it's my portable budget setup.

Thanks for being honest with this Mitch! Appreciate you!
Thank you happy to hear that! I really find that important with reviews :)

What do you do if your Artist 13.3 Pro doesn't turn on

can't you plug it directly to the mac using USB-3 data cable ?

The tablet is loose on the standard, you cant really rotate on it. But you can put it really easy of and rotate it on you desk.
@@MitchArt thanks! I'm trying to decide between 13.3 and 15.6 so I was thinking of ways to make the smaller one seem less small 😂

what? NO left handed glove?
Nope 😅
it's for both, I'm left handed and I use my glove in 12 pro with its logo on my pulse side instead :)

You need to connect it to a computer, it's like a second monitor but with a pen
