I used to think this drill was alot easier for the RBS but after going to multiple camps over the summer and doing this drill its insanely easy for the LB. If you just have decent footwork and good technique no one can get around you

There's the catch, good footwork and IQ. A lot of LB's have this recurring habit of always rushing in head first but never understanding how to actually catch someone who's shifty. As a LB myself I like to think of it like this. If you force a RB to a side. They will 90% of the time try to cut. So the goal is to get attached to their inside hip while their running. That way no matter how shifty the dude is he's running into 230 pounds of muscle.
