cool presentation, y'all. your art is always the highest quality. wish you'd focus on expanding and diversifying the available instant adventures -- IMO, perhaps the best supplementary product for RPGs that anyone makes, anywhere. my players switch worlds every six months or so, and i've got more settings books than i'll ever read or play in. but we're starved for adventures. TSR used to have scores of adventures and only a handful of settings. MCG has done the opposite. i haven't even cracked open the books for the last 3 settings that i helped kickstart. they just sit in a pile.
One of the best game systems out there. In the space of a couple of hours you can create a brand new setting from scratch. Its easy to run and within minutes players can quickly grasp the game rules.
I've been playing numenera since highschool, since it was just numenera, not destiny and discovery. This system has become the favorite in 3 separate groups I've played/GMed with! We have our campaign finale next weekend!!
This is actually kind of an advertisement, not an explanation of why I would play this. The logical follow-up to this extended hype session is to show each of the key parts and how and why they work.
My only MINOR quibble with the list is character creation. It IS intuitive, but there is a lot of page flipping so I’m not sure I’d call it “fast.” FUN, but not fast.
"Cephyr System", is that how you pronounce it? ...nah, never heard of it... What I want is to play a game, set a billion years in the future, where many great civilisations have come and gone, and now the world is littered with the ruins and leftovers of those prior civilisations...as is space... Or how about a podcast being adapted to a roleplaying game? Could you imagine that!!! Like...what would you even DO? OMG! Even doing it TWICE! That would be pretty nuts! 🤣😆😁🙃
How could i make The PT-Br cc to this video? Now that WotC leaved The Portuguese language and Will no longer translate anything tô PT, thats The time do MCG invest in other countrys.
Voiceover was done by Rick MacIvor; you can see his credit at the end. I quite assure you he's a living, breathing (award-winning voice acting) human being!

My friend: “what kind of characters can you make?”
Me: “All of them!”
Just introduced this to a friend of mine who just started their journey into the RPG world and she loves this system! More people should check it out
Quite glad to see you back in action! I'm looking forward to backing your next project!

The Cypher System is the best. I haven't run anything but Cypher for almost 11 years now. This is my game of choice for everything.
thanks for the description of Cyphers. they can be so much more than a potion or scroll. Or... those exactly!

Whoa, what's this system all about? Cypher? Bruh this sounds so crazy, and easy to run.

Keep your eye on the MCG website for news that might have something to do with this topic. . . .
@@CharlesMRyan oh…do tell! Perhaps I should see if I can get anyone from Monte Cook to come on and chat!
Reach out to Kate. That's Kate at the company name dot com.@@DMTalesTTRPG
Love this system. It's just so much fun.
It is still one of my favorites and I will bring it to some german Cons this year and master it in some german discord channels ❤❤
Love it thanks❤
Can’t wait to try it soon!
While not my dig, I can see this game being a lot of fun for many.
I'd call it a storytelling game, though, not a roleplaying game.

I do like my dice, but story and fiction is FAR favorable to random numbers.
Used to love the game. Its dream for GM. But its unbalanced. Probably the most unbalanced TTRPG.
On the end that is what always kills the game
jesus, AI narration, REALLY?!
I'm never buying a monte cook product again

Why are people like this? Jump to conclusions much?
