Listen to what she does at 3:40 mins into the song. That's pure gold! Have absolutely no idea how she did that. The tenderness in those tones is so heartfelt. Her age defies the experience needed to to nail down those tones... There is a time when logic doesn't really match what one is witness to, and here is a perfectly good example. Wishing her more recognition and fame. She so deserves it! The world needs to know how profound her talent really is. Her voice is just out of this world! All the hard work is paying off too, I'm sure, but the rare talent she possesses for bridging emotions to lyrics is what's putting her in her own league. Beautiful voice and performer. I just...would like to understand who was that person so "intelligent" as to insert the subtitles in the middle of the video ruining the shot of the singer! They should have been inserted at the bottom of the video and not in the center on the artist's face!!

Lucy is a great singer, and she does a good job, but I’d say she struggled with this song a bit, particularly in her lower register.
It’s also a song that demands life experience and empathy to carry it off, and I’m not sure she conveys that sufficiently for a listener.
For me the definitive version of this song is by Shoshana Bean, who absolutely owns it! She brings emotion, vulnerability, anger, acceptance, disappointment, love and struggle to the song which just takes it to an absolute another level. There’s a difference between being a singer and being an artist, and it’s not something one can switch on or off just like that!

No criticism of Lucy’s singing ability, but perhaps this isn’t the best song choice to show off her undoubted abilities.
