Nice it works. But i forgot that my ISP isn't dedicating dynamic ip address only unique for my router...it shares with other customers, so i can't host anything even using port forwarding.
@@droidlycodes that's what i'm experiencing, the reason why i'm unable to remote play. Does changing my route with a different brand will fix the issue?

Hello Sir! That was a very informative video indeed, but I was wondering how I could use this software to resolve a problem I have. Basically I set up OpenDns for content filtering in my network as there are certain things I do not want my kids to have access to, however, this filtering stops working when my IP changes as my ISP only provides Dynamic IP. How can I update OpenDns of my IP changes? And if it is possible to do so on the router level... Thank you very much!
Very good I just subscribed! I have a question. What would happen if I contracted a VPN service (OpenVPN) and executed the dedicated or exclusive IP that that VPN service provides me on my router, but later I went and did the procedure that you indicate. (taking into account that my router is a VPN router and I can configure the dedicated IP within it) would it be possible to alter the dedicated IP at least on its terminals?
Good morning my friend ! I understand that with this procedure in the end you managed to change the public IP, right? Please answer that first so I can ask you the question.@@KnowledgeSharingTech
Thanks for the Video. I see hostname in NO-IP is not secure. 1) Should we be securing that? 2) How do we secure that? 3) Pros and Cons of securing and not securing it?
Hello Sir , I did everything correctly , But when i import the OVPN file in my client , I am getting timeout issue with DNS resolution issue . Can you please help me ?
Yes, it is updated automatically. You should know though that the hostname on No-IP, for the free plan, should be renewed each month. No-IP will send you an email reminding you to renew-it, all you have to do is login to NO-IP and then click on Renew
I watched this twice now all the way through is the ip address your router ip or the network ip because mine grabs hold of the router ip address and when I try to load my host name I cannot access anything from outside my home perhaps because of the way the network is setup with a PPOE?
@@KnowledgeSharingTech okay because when I set this up the ip address is my Speedefy router ip address. When I view my isp public IP it's different and connects to their MikroTek router.
Every videos on RUclips showing almost same process. No one showing what to do after that, how to check from remotely, port forwarding for router LAN device access, Please any one guide? 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Can some one help me here. I was able to get the connection to my ftp and router panel without any dns. But when I tried to add dynamic dns and I changed nothing. I did everything I believe correctly. Added email and password and added host name with the host address. It just says not available and yes I am ushering my isp router. I believe this should work because I am able to get exterior access even from another country. So please help Do I need to port forward something? I don’t think I need it because it’s connected to my modem

omg ty so much made my wifi went from like 10mbps to 100mbps SO AMAZING
thanks for this lovely video I wish I knew it existed before doing my network
This doesn't work if your ISP blocks access to your own network outside your home with their own router

Great video, can you pls explain how to leverage benefits of uisng DDNS? can we monitor sites visited using my wifi router? if so how?

Thanks for a wonderful tutorial
Thanks for the video it is helpful. I have been trying to config no-ip with my Netgear router . You video is informative indeed.
Super demonstration... but what is the use of DDNS setup with Wifi router not explained
Good question. DDNS is used to access your Home network from the outside using a common name instead of an IP address.
I don’t have access to my router. Can i do it from my PC only?

See this, it explains it all: ruclips.net/video/HdBKEYc-zJE/видео.html
I think there's utility available for us from Opendns to install on our computer, that will auto update the new ip every time it changes.
Can I use it in WISP mode because I have no WAN cable in my router...?
you have a video that after if you don't log for 30 days to recreate again the domain ?

Maybe your router has a private IP address, in this case, you should do this: ruclips.net/video/B2plrWY5fH8/видео.html
Excellent - Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the video, I have a question about the server address of No-ip you put in D-Link router, did you take it from where?
From noip.com
hello sorry for my english so i doing this way my no-ip ddns is updated automatically without having to do it manually?

@@KnowledgeSharingTech is it not possible to automatically renew the 30 day expiration with some script?

It is the IP that you get from your ISP

Ok, so you have 2 routers in your home? In that case, you configure the IP of your ISP.
Amazing content, thanks for the video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Ok so for the name and password is it just the wifis name in the wifi area on phonr and the password u use to login?

Hey sir, informative content as always! I'm not having the DDNS feature in my LB-Link router, Thank you in advance. Sincerly
Hello, try to look under the Wan configuration section. If you cannot find it, send me the exact model of your router so I can help you.
No-ip free is a pain. You have to re-confirm the account once a month or else it terminates which happened to me.
That is on the free plan if I read correctly their pricing, for my case at least is a small price for the convenience it provides.
Good info Sir.
Thanks
