Short Christmas stories for children: Davy Rabbit's father teaches him and his siblings how important it is to be generous with others. Davy takes this to heart and shares food from his family's pantry with the woodland animals that don't have much because of the snow. Davy's family is a bit surprised to learn that he gave away some of their winter food supply, but Davy's father stands by his lesson and assure them all that they will be fine. On Christmas Eve the same woodland animals that Davy generously gave to, come back to his house to give his family gifts back.
