I have split tons of wood in my lifetime to heat my home in the 70's and still enjoy watching the process and seeing how much easier my life could have been with a machine like that. Maybe that's why I like watching. Most of my wood was split with a splitting maul or my old gas-powered wood splitter that caused a lot of my back issues by being bent over all day lifting and working the splitter. Honestly a splitting maul was much easier on my body than the splitter, even though it took longer. I could have split all my winter wood in one day with that machine and not be as tired as one day with my splitter or maul. I don't use wood anymore except in my little wood shop and it takes very little each winter. Mostly burn my cut-offs to heat it. My hard days are behind me. Thanks.
Donetta is doing a lot more now, hope she gets a raise.! Nice job you two
