I think an idea of half at a resort and half on the boat is a brilliant idea because not everyone is comfortable staying on a boat for days so I think this is amazing and you might get more people saying yes of having those ocean adventures but still having the comfort of staying on land.

Resistance bands are a lightweight solution for full body workouts. There are thousands of examples on RUclips, keep trying until you find one you like.
Youl live on Sail boat chasing the wind, you must learn how to Kiteboard or Wingfoil .These are your best options in the middle of the ocean and in some bays like Cabarete and las Terrenas. summer months are the best. You Will never be fitter, with little effort and all the fun. Take some lessons and chase the trades. So many sailors kite. If you want fool proof your sport go the Wingfoil route and start with a foil behind your dingy.

You are correct except I rarely drink and don’t eat a lot of “vacation food.” I think for me it comes down to a lack of movement compared to what my body was used to pre-boat life so I’m trying to be more conscious about getting more daily movement. 😃 any tips for working out on a boat?
@@adventurecrews The usual exercises will always help: sit-ups, push-ups, lunges, squats etc. A pull up bar built into the hard top, once your improved strength makes that possible, is a great exercise. Hand weights are always an option, but using body weight doesn't require storing another thing on the boat. By vacation food, I'm referring to eating more food(as part of a group) and likely more fried foods than one would normally eat. You could look into just eating once a day and intermittent fasting. The fact that you mentioned gaining weight quickly, means that too many calories are going in vs your ability to work out in a normal fashion. That won't change easily on a boat, but eating routines can be adapted immediately.
I guess the hiking is part of the animal cruelty that some bird brain mentioned before. :-) I've been to DR several times. Unfortunaltely not by boat but as you all can atest it's a beautiful place to visit. All the best to you all including the little lady!
The DR is a beautiful place. I wish you all were able to cruise over to the Haitian side of the island to explore, but that obviously isn't a great idea now.
I hate sites that trick you into giving some of your information and then asks you for more information to actually register. It would be great if you checked this first. I don't even have instagram that it asks for in the next site.
