I own 200 acres and I stay out of 190 of them . I leave the woods for my "Howlers". But every time I go outside on my deck at night with my guitar it's like I have summoned them to the tree line where they chatter to the music .
This property has been in my family for a little over 100yrs and apparently we've known about these creatures almost as long.
How fascinating that they enjoy or are at least interested in your guitar playing!
Hearing things like that really gets my brain wondering… do they ever seem to respond differently to any specific songs, style/type of playing, or sounds that you can make with it?
Assuming that you play acoustic during your sessions out there, have you ever considered trying electric?
I wonder how they might respond to another instrument accompanying your playing, or if you were to try an altogether different instrument..
Ooo, I wonder how they’d feel about finding a guitar that had been obviously left just inside the tree line for them, if one had an old guitar that they weren’t attached to or if could locate an affordable one from somewhere like a thrift shop or yard sale?

@@RuinedTemple I have a couple of friends and we all play stringed instruments , guitar , mandolin , violin , harp etc. We take old Rock/Metal songs and do them in a Renaissance style. It seems to bring my Howlers close when my friends are hanging out with me. Guess that's because they like music and getting a free concert

My wife and I have a routine. Every time we go get groceries we listen to Dixie Cryptid on the way home. 12 miles through the countryside is something we look forward to. I'll watch other RUclips channels on my own but I never watch DC without her.

Hello Cam.. when I was a kid, maybe 7 or 8, my mom, sister & I, along with a fair amount of others saw a UFO as we were strolling out of a shoe store in a small 4/5 store mall. The word "awesome" is way over used now days, but fits here completely. It was a feeling of amazement and left me with feeling like - I know this will seem odd, - but as if I grew up in a brief moment in time.

Hey! Cam! About a month ago I had a relative tell me that they saw lights in the sky! It was about midnight when saw it! The object was sacer shaped with red lights around it! It was two of them! They got up and walk outside they keep on watching the ufo move slowly with no sound and there was a smaller object round in shape hoving over trees near them! As they watching they noticed 3 more just sitting in the sky! They told me they was shaped like speakers like in a stereo! The objects just sitting watching them and it gave them the creeps so they ran inside
Normally, I listen on 1.5 speed. This time listened to part of the video at .50 speed. With your accent, Cameron, it made you sound super drunk making me laugh so hard I couldn't hear what was said. After a short remind and resuming at 1.5 speed, I continued enjoying the stories. THANKS MUCH for your efforts!
I don't have to go looking for bigfoot. They're all around me and my wife right now. They pound on our house at night and you can hear them at night. I have PTSD from Iraq. All that shit sets it off. My wife is from Louisiana and has seen them all her life. We're thinking that they're going to start something soon. I'm armed and ready for them. I have nvg's also. I served in the military for over 22 years. Let the games begin.

Love your show. After hearing all these stories. What makes me sad, is all the people that said they saw. Those people got treated badly. Those people got into the State institute of the mental ill. No one believed and they left them there. As the year's goes by. Those flying things are coming out until one day boom they're here.
Hi Cam. Night vision and Infra Red, often called “thermal,” are very different. Night vision uses light amplification while I/R is significantly more expensive and shows comparative heat sources. The first I/R scopes we used in the U.S. Border Patrol were on loan from the army’s night vision lab and supposedly cost ~$70,000.00. They were great!
