thank you for watching. Lone wolf man....that perk is crazy good. It's like tunnel vision/moving target/some snapshot/icarus all combined and more. Look for it.

Lone Wolf and Precision Instrument has been an incredible combo, especially for arc hunters. It's been very easy to hit aerial shots post-tempest strike or blink.
PI is what's strong on them, the rest of the rolls rely on a kill to make them strong af. PI adds wild consistency one might call it a crutch. 300s really should be the meta for sidearms
Been LOVING my Anonymous Autumn roll in PVP! Zen Moment + Desperate Measures with Knockout let's me have a hybrid of Precision Instrument and Swashbuckler (kinda). Still haven't gotten Zen + Precision though! Can't wait for the Omniscient Eye review! It can get 100 handling, Snapshot Sights ADS scaler and Lone Wolf ADS scaler all in ONE SNIPER and has 40 zoom.
@@SillyPlanet92 it’s not the “standard god roll” but CoolGuy always promotes different builds so i think if you’re making it work and having fun, it’s a W
300 rpm sidearms are just way better when precision instrument gets factored out. It's not even the Anon Autumn it's the precision instrument on 360 sidearms. Consistency is king in a game with such high mobility unfortunately, honestly I wish they'd just nerf precision instrument 300s are strong enough and aren't so crutch.
Sidearms are so good now. In PvP with the current special ammo economy, they’re powerhouses. In PvE, they are amazing in at-light activities like raids or dungeons. Hopefully Bungie keeps giving us more good ones. This is definitely one I’m excited about. Lightweights, Bursts, and precisions especially.
I was waiting for this review. I have EC+VS and LW+KC, and they are both amazing when used in the appropriate environment. I missed out on the heliocentric god roll, but Anonymous Autumn maded up for it as I got both the PVE and PVP God rolls. I brought my Eddy Current +Voltshot roll into Vesper for that same reason... tight spaces and my fireteam laughed until I got voltshot and amplified going on my titan. As long as their are enemies voltshot never goes away. This is my new favorite sidearm bar none. I will also look out for the LW+PI roll you mentioned. Thanks again, Coolguy. 🍻
I feel like Rangefinder is still alright honestly. When I first started using it, I went for it because of the extra stickiness it offered and not even the range bonus.
Still have my old one. My favorite weapon in the game period. It’s Quickdraw Rangefinder and Solar. Haven’t had time to grind for the new one yet but I’m gonna go at it.
I lucked out and got the Lone Wolf + PI roll and I was absolutely shredding Trials over the weekend. I thought I might want to try out a KC roll, but thanks to your video I'm just going to enhance what I got (Sadly no Range MW, I got Smallbore, AP, LW, PI, Handling MW)
Problem with this logic is in say sweaty 3v3s you have to first get a kill to make it like that. Precision instrument is really a broken crutch perk that adds consistency because you don't need a kill to make it work. Without PI 300s are just better assuming you didn't previously kill some potato for adagio/kill clip
My first drop of this weapon was Enlightened Action + Adagio and it works great in pvp. I have Corkscrew | Ricochet | Reload MW on it as well. Throw on a Ballistics mod and this puts it at 45 Range, 65 Stability & Handling, and 55 Reload without even factoring in Enlightened Action or Field-Tested. Get those rolling and you have a monster. I don't notice a lot of people talk about it, but look at the synergy between EA and F-T: both proc from dealing hits/causing damage, so they're always kicking in together. Given how fast sidearms deal hits, you're at high stacks of both most of the time. Even if, for the sake of discussion, you cap EA at 5 (max stacks for F-T) you're adding 20 Handling and Reload Speed from EA + additional Handling, 20 Range, 50 more Reload (that's +70 reload total!) and 30 Stability. Add to that the 10 Range (that's +30 total!) and 30% damage buff from Adagio, and you're looking at a beast. Max out EA and you add yet another 30 handling and reload. That puts my roll at 75 Range, 95 Stability, 110+ Handling, 155 Reload (lol), and +30% damage while still firing at about 300ish? RPM, when everything's clicking!
I just got what one could argue is a straight up 5/5 without any prestiges. Full bore, ricochet, lone wolf, mkc, range masterwork. And one thing I'd suggest in regards to the precision instrument vs kill clip question: the sidearm actually gets both regular kill clip and multikill clip. On the first kill, both variants get the ttk down to a .5 at all resiliences. However, the OG lets you hit a body shot up to 7 resilience and still get that .5 4 tap with only one kill, which is nice, but with a fast-paced run and gun weapon like a sidearm, mkc honestly has a higher ceiling with not much of a tradeoff. I mean, without doing any combo setup or anything you'd need to hit all 12 of your shots in the magazine as crits into three different enemies within the span of 3.6 seconds and then reload to actually reach that x3 stack. Which is probably not happening lol. But if it ever does, you'll have 5.5 seconds of 3 tapping guardians up to 6 resilience at a blistering .33 ttk, which I honestly kinda wanna see now just to get a visual of what that looks like lol. Either way, I'm super excited to try out my absolutely godly roll on this thing
I'd like to also shout out Attrition Orbs for PvE. How it works is that every time you score 2/3rds of the magazine +2 hits, you generate an orb. Anonymous Autumn has a base magazine of 12 shots, so you're spawning an orb every 10 hits. It fires 6 shots per second, so that's 1.6 seconds of firing per orb. You do also have to reload, but even with just Field Tested you can get 100 reload speed at max stacks for a 1.14s reload. 5 full magazines is 60 shots, plus four reloads, so 10s of firing and 4.6s of reloading. I'll round up to 15 seconds total. You generate 6 orbs per 15 seconds, or 1 orb every 2.5s, assuming you have targets to shoot at. Faster if you put on a loader mod for the 0.85x scalar. But it's also a third column perk; you can get it with Voltshot (at least once perk weights are fixed...). You do miss out on having a tiny bit more reload speed with Eddy Current or directly getting ability energy from Demo/Strategist, but you gain a tremendous amount of orbs for yourself and allies. Very worthwhile IMO, especially since there's a lot of ways to generate survivability through orbs and you've got an extremely consistent way to make them with a weapon that needs to play close to enemies.
i'm honestly a fan of the full auto sidearms in general, but i never really jived with the pirate themed one back from s18 so landing this as my voltshot replacement would be perfect for me ! maybe if i'm lucky i can get voltshot and precision instrument on the same drop to maximize vault space haha
I have used my ancient Autumn with moving target/kill clip for more kills than any other gun in Destiny, and it’s not even close. I absolutely love it. I can’t wait to get a couple of resets so I can farm a bunch of these with multiple perks. This season I’ve gone back to old school arc Titan, and swash on this thing with knockout is gonna be INSANE.
Volt shot in pvp is fun too, specifically on prism hunter with stylish executioner. Instead of chaining a damage buff with kill clip, you chain wallhacks with the jolt you apply
Since day 1 of revenant. I was very fortunate to get one with voltshot right off the bat from crucible. Haven’t liked it in PvP but it’s a beast in the new dungeon and onslaught.
Got small bore, high cal, lone wolf, kill clip, range mw last night and really like it a lot. Haven't got a good enough precision instrument one yet. Only one with rangefinder that could work but I really want the lone wolf with that also. I think kill clip is probably the best way to go on this because in my opinion sidearms are more of a 6s weapon and I really don't love them in 3s. I would opt for precision instrument in 3's though for the forgiveness it offers up.
I got the same lw/pi roll but with high cal instead of armor piercing. I was a huge heliocentric fan when solar was in the artifact for all of season of the wish. I'm excited to try this one out.
my favorite sidearm and weapon in the destiny… haven’t got the precision instrument god roll yet so i’ve been using heliocentric but uh. let’s just say, when I do, it’ll never leave my imventory
I use sidearms almost exclusively as my CQC weapon. One thing I've noticed is that I'm usually by myself when I have to pull it out, so Lone Wolf should proc for me often.
I've never liked precision frame sidearms but Anonymous Autumn is the exception (so far). Something about the recoil on this archetype makes it hard for me to hit my shots (skill issue, I know) and I really love rapid fire frame side arms. Autumn with zen moment really helps that for me. Of course, eddy current with voltshot feels great in PvE and has me considering putting down my Brigand's Law.
I prefer kill clip just because I don't trust myself landing all 5 shots without missing/not hitting the crits when I should, especially with a 360. They don't have that much actual recoil, but the animation makes them feel a little too jumpy for me at times. That said, at least with the Anonymous Autumn, I never lost my reticle from just firing unlike with the Heliocentric.
Once i touched this with zen moment it felt so good and took over my helio. I still have yet to try lonev wood or get a KC/HC helio to drop, but so far loving zen on this
I focused 1 engram cause I wanted to try it before saving up for resets and I landed hammer, ricochet, lone wolf, kill clip and unfortunately a reload mw but I can definitely agree this thing is an absolute unit. Can't wait to dump 99 engrams on it lol
I ve got attri orb + preci instr and i already could tell this a s tier weapon. I am looking forward to exactly your roll you have for pvp. For pve i wish to get attri orb + volt shoot which will be the perfect mix for add clear and somewhat a little stronger foes. So sad attri orb kind of not working in pvp though. Great review as always 😉
Brigand’s Law has been probably my most used primary for awhile now. Usually I’m running Lost Signal / Brigand’s Law / Parasite outside of boss DPS situations. Just find survivability is good in PvE and spamming Voltshot the hardest hitting primary in the game.
Don’t sleep on sidearms. I am not a PvP player, yet Mechaneer’s Tricksleeves and a Heliocentric with Heal clip allowed me to survive many close range duels. Even a 1v3 in one case
I’m surprised you didn’t mention closing time. Since you shred through the mag so fast you can really catch them off guard with the extra range bump as you get towards the end.
Cool guy what kinetic sidearm are you running? There wasn’t any in your inventory in this video… midnight coupe I see which seems like it would be a clear winner
I still have my solar one from season 4 it is still my main PVP sidearm besides Boudicca c but I run that one with cloud strike my solar one has a throw away perk now I just like it cause it has sights still my roll is control sas ricochet rounds full auto trigger(was goatee back before full auto was added) and range finder it just shreds I'm looking for a lone wolf arc one with either PI, KC,MKC, desperate measures (PVP) then Eddy volt for (pve)
For PvE, it's the perfect up-close Arc weapon. Demo + Voltshot, you get the reload and handling boosts from Field Tested. Just sad that it's the Crucible weapon and not Vanguard.
I got probably 12 or 13 in a row from my run to reset crucible rank last week. All of them sucked. Best roll I got was Demo-Desperate Measures and Strategist-Rampage. I’m going to have to focus on with voltshot now so I can try it.
Feedback: barrels and mods for sidearms would be very helpful. Do you agree that one should go full out range at expense of stability? I get lone wolf is awesome, but let us know why you go for the range and stability over zoom mod. Much love cool guy
Precision instrument +heal clip has been my heliocentric roll since I got it. I don't think anonymous autumn can replace it even though I really like the model, heal clip is just too strong

@coolguygames - How do you not have a shirt that says "More on that later"?
For PvE, it's the perfect up-close Arc weapon. Demo + Voltshot, you get the reload and handling boosts from Field Tested. Just sad that it's the Crucible weapon and not Vanguard.
To the Pain is goated if you can survive your fights
I got probably 12 or 13 in a row from my run to reset crucible rank last week. All of them sucked. Best roll I got was Demo-Desperate Measures and Strategist-Rampage. I’m going to have to focus on with voltshot now so I can try it.
My man! Thank you
I remember this being a menace in forsaken
Feedback: barrels and mods for sidearms would be very helpful. Do you agree that one should go full out range at expense of stability? I get lone wolf is awesome, but let us know why you go for the range and stability over zoom mod. Much love cool guy
I'm using Bygones and this sexy little sidearm at the moment and i'm loving it 😋
as a sidearm enjoyer ill grind for this
Precision instrument +heal clip has been my heliocentric roll since I got it. I don't think anonymous autumn can replace it even though I really like the model, heal clip is just too strong
I want AttritionOrbs+Voltshot, one of the few that drops an orb in 1s of shooting.
