i just ordered that mold i cant wait!!!! matalic sits on top i cant get it to sink at all, im thinking of leads through them for windows and wall omg cant wait, your one is fab
Absolutely stunning. I’ve just bought the mould. So cheap, under a fiver! Can’t wait to try it. Might make it in plaster, see how it comes out. Thanks for your insights x
The white background fits perfectly with the white ink in the brightly coloured parts! Another tip to dd to my list of things to try one day... (Yes, I still find videos I haven't liked yet???)
That is so beautiful! I have that exact same mold! I was brand new at using resin when I made it so it wasn't that great. I know a lot more now so I think I will give it another try maybe using your same technique. There are so many different color combinations that you could use you could make dozens of them!
So pretty! Love it! I'm going to be doing a Christmas resin sign this week and finally try the white pigment technique. :) Great craft, Wendy. Can't wait to see your upcoming crafts!
I don’t know 🤷♀️🤔🤔🤔 I might do 😀😀😀 Things just happen to me 😂😂 one thing leads to another…… But Christmas does come round every year so maybe 😀😀😀 Thanks Ramona 😀👍❤️
This is so pretty you’ve inspired me so I’ve brought one to have a go. How do I know what ratio of resin & hardener to mix for the star? Is it the same for all moulds or is each mould different? Any advice would be greatly received 🙏🤍🌸 x
Thanks so much for your comment. Follow the manufacturer guidelines on the mix ratios. It will be the same for every mould you use. Try filling the mould with rice or water to measure out how much resin you will need first. Then make sure your mould is clean and dry before you start. Have fun with it 😃👍
??? Why do you use so much ink in your pieces? Are you going for a certain effect with so much? ??? I am asking this question seriously as it seems a waste and I’d like to know your purpose in doing this. Oh, that is a beautiful mold and a beautiful star you made!
Okay well when I first started playing with resin I saw a few people doing ink drops and they always did 3 layers. Now as I had no reason not to do the same, that’s what I did. Nowadays I very really use alcohol inks as they generally fade fast. So I tend to stay away from them. But with this project I wanted deep bright colours 😀😀💜
Thats very pretty. Id love to see gold and bronze or a rose gold and bronze. Ooh so many possibilities!
I have made a copper one but for me it was too much 😂😂😂 Ty👍

Thanks very much Trish. Looking forward to yours too. Have fun with it 😁👍
Beautiful
Thank you Tami 😀😀😀👍
Wendy I like it 👍👍👍👍, Question is there a reason why you do not use a pressure pot ???
I do use a pressure pot, but most people don't have them so I try not to video that type of resin. Plus this is actually too big for my pot 🤣
I like it but I know you and mica powders it would be spectacular!!! Will you do mica powders with the star mold?
I don’t know 🤷♀️🤔🤔🤔
I might do 😀😀😀
Things just happen to me 😂😂 one thing leads to another……
But Christmas does come round every year so maybe 😀😀😀
Thanks Ramona 😀👍❤️
where do you get the mold
It came from Amazon and i believe I have linked it in my Amazon storefront 😀💜👍😀
