I was planning on doing this hike in the next couple weeks I can do a 5.9 and 5.10 quite easily indoors. I’ve been climbing mountains outdoors for a little over a year now and haven’t done anything this crazy yet. Do you think it’s doable? Awesome video btw!
Thank you! From a strictly technical standpoint this should be easy for you. However, do take into consideration that this route is quite long (about 7,000 feet vertical gain) if you're planning on doing it in one day. And you'll have to deal with the altitude as well. Also make sure that you're comfortable with exposure and route finding. But yes, definitely doable!
Thank you! The switchbacks are and back and forth trails that zig zag up the base of the mountain. Generally the trails are made this way to prevent erosion, but they also can be quite tedious!

Great video. I have a question please. What is a switchback? Thanks
Thank you!
