I think the part about having the items in their own separate baggies is what has sold me here. 😆 I am not crafty either, so having it all laid out for me is so important.
Thank you!!!!! Didn’t know this existed! I did Sonlight with my oldest about 9 years ago. I stored away the teacher guides because I had hope to have another child. 7 years later I had my second child. She is 6 now. I want to use my old instructions guide but I’ve noticed many things have changed. But I think I’ll just use the history portion with these kits.
Thanks for this review! I wanted to purchase this box for my kids and you answered all my questions. Thanks for the Sonlight coupon code will be using it very soon.
This cracks me up; we had very similar experiences with the projects. I attempted to give the big kids free range of a couple of the projects and ended up with a hot glue gun at the kitchen table by myself putting the thing together. ha! I'm not crafty either. The one thing I love about the history kit is as you said the individual bags for each one. Now I just want them to do that for the science projects as well. :)
We bought 2 for HBL C next year! So excited to try it, I know the kids will love it plus I love that everything is in 1 bag per craft!! That speaks to me ❤ 😂
So glad you mentioned gorilla glue 😊, I’ve heard the glue dots don’t work so well and many have recommended a glue gun. But we had a glue gun horror story in our family so SO glad your suggestion of an alternate glue works.
This looks great. We decided to try story of the world and I got the activities book, but I wish it offered kits like this, because I am on a really busy season and just don't have the time. I am also not crafty at all.
Honestly I feel like you could use these kits even if you aren’t doing Sonlight … you would just have to check the scope and sequence of SOTW to see when to bring out the Trojan horse for example 😊
@@sciencemama you know you're probably right about that. Anything to make things easier right now. We have a baby coming in August and a little brother joining his older sisters for more formal lessons as well. Just a lot going on so I'm definitely team but the kit right now. 😂
Can these be done as a stand alone or do you really need to get the sonlight history curriculum? I love these crafts kits because I am also not terribly crafty. I can make do if needed but it isn't my forte and I'm also dealing with a newborn so time is hard to come by! 😂

@@sciencemama Cool, that's what I was hoping it looked like. Although now I'm intrigued by this history course, I might check it out and see if maybe it can add to what we do.

Yes, you can definitely figure out when to use the projects based on the old instructors guide!
Thanks for this! This will be perfect for my family. My daughter is super crafty and I am no at all haha so hopefully this will be a happy medium
This was so helpful! Thank you!!!
You are very welcome 😊

I’m so glad I was able to address your questions 😊
I always think these look so fun! I am a 'crafty' person but less so with kids' crafts...
They are really fun - I’m going to try the World Cultures kit for my 5 years olds next year, so we will see how that goes 🤣

I actually do prep the science experiments into bags … about 6 weeks at a time! Haha, I’m glad I’m not the only one with stories like that 😊
You’ll love the lapbooks then! It’s been fun for my kiddos!

Hope you love the kit!!
I'm thinking of getting this for level B. 😁 sounds so fun!
It is so fun, especially if you have crafty kids 😊

Oh no that sounds terrible! You have to be careful with gorilla glue too, it’s something I do and then the kids take over after it has dried 😊

I’m so excited to get to the lapbooks, so glad to hear your kids liked them!!
