    Poor Canadian
One of the most embarassing loss I have ever seen

Embarrassing? The Canadian was competing at the world level in both Freestyle And Greco! He got pinned by the greatest greco roman wrestler of all time and gave a valiant effort in the hand fight before he slipped and got thrown. How many times have you wrestled at this level? How long would you have lasted against Karelin? How many world team's have you made?

@@timnevinger5056 be calm... i m not a wrestler but I have been following that sport for about 40 years. I m not native english speaking person. I did not want to insult anybody, embarassing may be wrong desxription but i did not really seen such a defaat before...

@@timnevinger5056 ı have Just watched his free-style competirion against 36 years old Baumgardner in 1996 olympics... I m not sure which is worse. Since he lost by technical defeat 10-0 to an almost retired ex-champion... but anyway I did not want to say any irrwspectful thing.
Indeed before yesterday I was thinking whether Karelin could take double gold in 92 and 96 olympics if he had had competed in free-style too

Taha akgul and geno petriashwili are the only wrestlers who can outwrestle karelin in a freestyle match. In greco roman i think lopez has a great chance

Don't forget Baumgartner and Gobejishvili. Theoretically, many freestyle wrestlers could beat him in a freestyle match because it is almost a completely different sport. But Karelin can hold his own even in a freestyle match against some high-level wrestlers due to his insane strength and unmatched athleticism. Just not the greatest and strongest amongst them. Do you understand what I'm trying to say here?😊
