History books will be written about how poorly unionists and specifically the DUP handled Brexit, thinking it would bring them everything they wanted and instead ended up costing them everything they claimed to care about. And now they are in Dublin begging the Irish government to advocate in Europe for them because they know the UK government is too weak and has nothing to offer the EU to move the border to Ireland.
