Terminal 1 is only for domestic it is smaller compared to terminal 2. Both are not very far from each other.
At present there are 2 terminals. Terminal 1 for domestic and Terminal 2 for International as well as domestic. Both are in Mumbai city. A new airport is under construction near Navi Mumbai.

Jyada to dekha nahi hu, lekin airport ke 2 terminal hi hai. 1st wala Domestic flights ke liye hai. 2nd wala International ke liye hai. To 2nd wala boht comparatively jyada grand banaya hai. Wo upar wala floor basically entry hai, bahar seedha road hai. Aur 20min walking pe already existing metro hai saath hi sath Airport ke andar connect karne wali 3 metro lines under construction
