As a husky fan, not excited about Fisch. He is just like DeBoer, stays at one school for 2-3 years and moves on. We need Peterson back, a guy with ethics and class. Stupid NIL and transfer portal etc for causing him to retire.

It's the nature of the beast these days, unless we can find an alumn/local guy to coach the Dawgs we shouldn't get too attached, as long as this guy leaves us in a better place from a recruiting standpoint if he leaves unlike Deboer than it'll have been worth it.
He'll be there until that Florida job opens up, which could be next year. If this backfires and he isn't meeting expectations this could backfire on Fisch. He could've stayed at UA one more year and had any job. He might get a few players to come over from UA, but most of them saw Fisch for who he really is in that 3 minute meeting
I've got a good feeling about Fisch. Seems aggressive, intelligent, ruthless. I just don't know how long it will take and how long he will be around.

It's pretty obvious that he covets big and bigger stages. I'm repulsed by the disingenuousness and callous disregard for the people he lied to, not least among them the players. With this kind of narcissism, the portal, and the constant league realignments, the system has become the satire that recent movies have made.
This is just the beginning.
B12 & ACC are tier 2 conferences and in essence a farm system for the P2.
Zona cant afford the approx 8M per year that the P2 teams + FSU, Clemson & Miami can offer.

Arizona was in no shape financially to match someone else's offer. B1G is a sub-conference to the SEC with Alabama taking DeBoer.
@carladams9345 | I think u have it backwards. The B10..by far has the best sports media deal. It's not even close. The SEC decided to hitch their wagon to a fleeting entity, ESPN. The B10 has 3 revenue streams, Fox, NBC & CBS.
