Very nice drone footage, seeing the Veld from another angle... "Helskloofpass" is outside the Richtersveld National Park, in the Community Area on your way North East towards The Grocery and Bushwacked, Vioolsdrift... The one you were thinking of is much further East towards Pella, on the Namakwa 4x4 Eco Trail going down to the Orange Rivier, called "Road to Hell" ... It's a one way, heavy technical, steep down to the River, same way back... Then you get "The Hell", or Gamkaskloof, which you have missed going down the Swartbergpass on the Prince Albert side... You seems a bit rushed, as the Richtersveld has a lot more to offer, and three days minimum would have been nice.. Reading the other comments, you were at Bushwacked with Adam...? Don't know how you have missed Helskloofpass then, unless you went back via Steinkopf, then Port Nolloth into the park... Enjoy Namibia, and take more time, going somewhere a bit slower. If you miss a nice spot, you would not be back soon to explore it again. Make sure you do take the D707, as it is a bit longer to your next destination, and very very scenic... But, by the time you are reading this, you'll be in Swakopmund already... Enjoy enjoy enjoy 🇿🇦 🇳🇦 🇿🇦
Hey there thanks for all that info, unfortunately the Richtersveld was a little rushed we had to make it to Namibia before our visas run out in S.A. 😂 yes we went into port Nolloth into the park that way! Thanks again! Harry
Looked like a awesome 4x4 track . Fun video again you guys . really am enjoying your Africa journey to date . Thanks again for sharing your wonderful journey with us your over landing friends . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :) :) 🌍🍻😁👍🏼.
Just to set the record straight. There are two passes with the name Helskloof in the Richtersveld. The one is that we saw The Landy Expedition do inside the Richtersveld National Park, then there is another pass to the west with the same name, much easier than it's namesake. There is a third pass, further to the west, known as The Hell, a very rough track down to the Orange River, this is a serious off road track, a vehicle breaker that makes tough men cry, only for the very brave (or the foolish, depending on your view). The Richtersveld is a special place.
@@TheLandyExpedition Yes ; central California. The Clint Eastwood movie “High Plains Drifter” was filmed around Mono Lake and the Eastern Sierra. Be safe and stay well!🙏👌

Our first LR was a 110 County wagon 3.5 litre V8. Remember having trouble with the drop arm coming loose on a couple of occasions. In the end I replaced it. Your friends Camel Trophy 110, is it a genuine one? Loved the Camel Trophy, test of machine and man. Once again enjoying your trip.
It turned out the the inner sleeve of the drop arm was worn not the actual ball joint. Strange one! Yes it is a genuine camel trophy! They’ve kept everything original even down to the shovel mounted. It’s awesome. Thanks Bruce!
Another great video guys, I'm fascinated to know what a 'Donkey Long Tong' is (just above Harry's head when he's driving) is or should I be asking, maybe I'm too young to know! Lol. I look forward to your videos every week, go carefully it's hot out there.
Hey there! Glad you asked! Donkey long tong is a braai tong created by my friend a South African start up business. Take a look if you are into braai’ing/ bbq’ing! Cheers! Harry
Namibia is awesome beautiful country and people. Not even three million people in that vast stretch of land. Etosha and the Namib is a must. Enjoy it guys.
So we are a little ahead of what you see on RUclips and we’ve been in Namibia for around a month. We absolutely love it it’s been amazing. Etosha next 😀 Harry
It is understandably confusing but there are many "Hells passes" in South Africa's Northern Cape province. The one you took was the easier of the three. The second most difficult is close by and is in my opinion the most difficult due to flooding - you did not take this one. The most difficult is know as "the road to hell" as opposed to "Hell's pass" . You took the most pedestrian route of the three. A great achievement nevertheless! Congrats
Pity you rushed though it. u missed the road to hell and many other attractions. Pity. South africa in 60 mins sorry u missed so much. But nice having u,sad to see u go
We did rush through the Richtersveld annoyingly we had to meet some friends shortly afterwards. But the rest of South Africa we took our time and soaked it all in! We absolutely loved it 😀 Harry
Using Jesus name as an swear word or an exclamation is blasphemy. It says in the bible to not use Jesus or God’s name in vain. You used it in this video between 2-3min in the pass driving. Hope you understand.God bless
Was it really necessary to use the Name of Jesus as an expletive?? It just shows your character, which is in deficit. I find your language utterly offensive. Take down this blasphemous video. Please.
The Road to Hell Pass is much further east, not in the Richtersveld and beyond the N7. I went down that pass, and it is nothing compared to what you have experienced :)
Love these videos - a great inspiration for those of us who would love to follow in your tyre tracks some times soon 👍
That’s the aim! It’s so easy to get out there and explore these amazing places. We hope that we can encourage others to do so!
Cheers!
Harry
Beautiful surroundings. Exciting location. One for the The Bucket list
It’s a must see for sure! 😀 hope you get to see it.
Harry
Thank you for Richtersveld. A stunning place to spend time in to sharpen 4x4 skills.
Absolutely is a fantastic place to practice your off road driving skills. Wish we had a little more time there!
Cheers

Some of the desert landscape looks a lot like the California high desert, Nevada, and Arizona .
Thanks! Appreciate it 😀 we have never been there so will have to take your word on that, is that where you are from?

Also, here in Namibia is cold! -2 this morning!
Do you have plans to go to Kruger National Park? It is incredible!
We don’t! We are very far away from there now!

NICE GOOD CAMPING
Epic camping! 😀
Hello !
What tire pressure do you set for gravel roads?🙂🙂
Hi there! It depends really but anything from 1.3-2 bar on the gravel. Some roads you have terrible corrugations and some are smooth as clouds 😀
Die Hel pass is on the other side of the N7 on the Namaqua Eco Route bad ass pass
Ahh ok.. yes we did have some confusion over wether this was the die hell or not.. thanks for that!

I just sow you guys in Windhoek now now

Hi guys love you videos please can you give me your fuel consumption take care safe travel ❤
Hi! We average around 22mile per gallon.. ish… 😀👍🏻
Started watching your videos and thoroughly enjoyed it until the blasphemy started. Pitty. Stopped watching an unsubscribed.
