But it's true that not everyone likes to read while hearing a voice over & not everyone wants to have to turn their volume off. People are individuals & have different tastes likes /dislikes. While we should absolutely love & respect the authors for even having the courage to share their imaginations with us, this forum is a public thing w millions of people with millions of opinions etc & they are going to say them whether we like it or not. Some people like to have bg music & photos in the story; some people like to read without music but like pictures; some want to read it like a book.. without anything but the story's dialog & prefer to imagine everything themselves; some people like voice overs because they like listening rather than actually reading....and still others, may like the particular author's sweet voices BUT it throws them off because the author might read much slower ( or in very rare cases way faster lol) than the the readers and so yes they get annoyed trying to enjoy at their own pace. Yes they can turn volume down or off but some people still want the volume for other things as most people have a life & aren't using phone only to read ff lol. However, I ALSO absolutely feel that if authors choose to do voice overs on their work, it is THEIR right on THEIR art; so if someone doesn't like it, it's OK that they don't they also have the right not to like it, BUT to understand if they don't then just don't watch or turn it down, don't be hurtful to the authors.
