News 12 LI Previews Jovia and Splish Splash's Care Free Day of Water Park Fun for LI Families

Jovia Financial Credit Union has selected more than 100 young people, families and mentors from underserved communities who recently enjoyed a carefree day at Splish Splash Water Park in Calverton, NY. Free admission and food/drink vouchers for all attendees are sponsored by Jovia Financial Credit Union and Splish Splash. This is part of Jovia’s continuing initiative to give back to members of the Long Island and NY Metro community. Over 50 of the attendees are from Long Island Head Start, an organization based in Patchogue that offers various programs to support children’s growth and development in a positive learning environment. An additional group of 50 attendees are from Brooklyn based organization, Hey There Beautiful Foundation, which seeks to empower women and young girls to achieve their life goals through education, motivation, self-awareness and self-development.
