Even if it didt work , it smells so good , and the p4 just makes the garage smell like a candy shop . You guys really have the scents down . I could go on all day about them
This is perfect! I just bought a Torqs polisher and was looking for a video on how to use it and stumbled upon a great video and a great channel, great job boys; I’ve been watching this on repeat all day!!!
Likely that they buffed the rest of the car first and left the hood for a video demonstration. The headlights are faded too so I wouldn't doubt the haze is real
I just got both of the C4’s to see how they are. I got a few vehicles to do that aren’t all that bad vs me usually wet sanding then buffing so I can’t wait to see how quick and good the C4’s are
I just got done using the P4 with my orbital polisher on my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500. My trucks paint looked horrible after a "friend" attempted to compound it for me. After using the P4 my trucks paint is shining again like it did the day I bought it! Now I just need to get something to lock in that shine! Suggestions? Glaze, Wax, or something else?
How long do you have to wait to apply each product? Cure time. And also how long would you have to wait to cure the polish so you can apply one layer of wax/ sealant to top it off .
Hi team, For some reason, my friend has added 50 ml of warm water to the 350 ml of the C4 and P4 Polish. is the polish still usable or it is a waste now? Please help.
Soooo I put compound then polish my car by hand, and when I was done I see swirls on the car from me doing it by hand.. what did I do wrong and how can I fix it?!🙏🏼 and I clay bar it before I started the compound then polish
Hi Raymond! A compact vehicle with average contamination can take about thirty minutes to perform a clay bar service however the size of the vehicle and level of contamination will vary.
@@ChemicalGuys Thanks for the quick response. Because I purchased some of your hexalogic pads and I'm just thinking what size of backing plate to use 😊
So polished the hood of one of my vehicles - pull it out into the sun now there appears to be watermark like stuff on it, forgot to wax... best way to remove the polish marks

Thanks so much for being part of the Chemical Guys family!
Great results I would imagine apply some wet mirrior glaze and that would further your already great results. Chemical Guys great products 👌
Great point!
Great video. I am considering getting a black benz amg that's 12 years old and was wondering how much it would cost to do this sort of restoration?
Beautiful job joey
Glad you like it!
Love these guys! They really make sure everything looks really good. I learn from these guys 😮
Thanks so much for being part of the Chemical Guys family!!
Someone explain how the side of the car looks flawless. Yet the hood is all scuffed? 🤔 seems buffed or, just waxy.
Likely that they buffed the rest of the car first and left the hood for a video demonstration. The headlights are faded too so I wouldn't doubt the haze is real
Can you please list all the products you used?
Great vid. Is it possible to do the whole car with just one pad or pads need to be change often?
My Tahoe limited was worst….
Polished it last May, last week i polished it again and it’s even better
Keep up the good work!!

Hi Wayne! Check out HydroSlick to lock in shine and repel harsh elements.
I would love for you guys to use these two compounds on harder areas. Bumpers, fenders, doors, anything curvy. This would be really useful!
Thanks so much for your feedback!
P4 perfection polish is my goto!!
Gotta love P4!!
@@ChemicalGuys 100% 👌
what do you se small scratches irs not deep just on the coating. it had a ceramic coatinng. do still have to use claybar
I have the ultimate challenge. I would love to talk to this guy about my Lexus
How long do you have to wait to apply each product? Cure time. And also how long would you have to wait to cure the polish so you can apply one layer of wax/ sealant to top it off .
All these "consumer grade" products have no "cure" time. Apply each whenever you feel motivated to do so.
Hi team, For some reason, my friend has added 50 ml of warm water to the 350 ml of the C4 and P4 Polish. is the polish still usable or it is a waste now? Please help.
Hi there! Compound and polish should not be diluted.
How often do you spray the polishing pad conditioner? Did you spray it when you used the p4?
Hi there! Use Pad Conditioner for the first few panels and then as needed to keep the pad moist.
Would you protect a car like that after polishing it or is it not worth since the clear is kind of contaminated?
Absolutely! It is still important to protect a freshly polished surface.
you dont have to spray the pad when polishing??
Hi Franco! Yes, use Pad Conditioner to prep the pad for the first few panels and then as needed.
Will the C4 and p4 remove holograms or will I need something along the lines of the v36 compound?
Hi there! Yes, the combination of C4 and P4 is great for removing imperfections and restoring a smooth finish.
Do you guys just wipe away the extra polish when it spray everywhere on high speed
Hey! That's correct, use either Wipe Out or your favorite quick detail spray to pick up spent product.
K.
Soooo I put compound then polish my car by hand, and when I was done I see swirls on the car from me doing it by hand.. what did I do wrong and how can I fix it?!🙏🏼 and I clay bar it before I started the compound then polish
Hey! Machine polishing will achieve the best results. It is possible that the compound and/or polish didn't break down all the way.
@@ChemicalGuys ok, what can I do to get those swirls from the compound/polish out?

Hey! Check out the White Hex-Logic Quantum Pad.

About how long should it take to clay bar a whole car this size?
Hi Raymond! A compact vehicle with average contamination can take about thirty minutes to perform a clay bar service however the size of the vehicle and level of contamination will vary.
That car looks good after doing a paint correction on it
🤩🤩
What is the initial speed to start apply the compound in the panel
Hi Luis! Use the lowest speed setting to spread the product out and then use the higher speeds to diminish compound and polish.
If i will use 5 inch chemical guys hexalogic pad, what size of backing plate will it fit?
Hi there! Use a 5 inch backing plate when using 5 or 5.5 inch pads.
@@ChemicalGuys Thanks for the quick response. Because I purchased some of your hexalogic pads and I'm just thinking what size of backing plate to use 😊
How would you guys suggest cleaning an all black metal running board?
Hi there! You can use your favorite car wash soap of Nonsense All Purpose Cleaner to scrub away grime.
So polished the hood of one of my vehicles - pull it out into the sun now there appears to be watermark like stuff on it, forgot to wax... best way to remove the polish marks
The C4 combinated with P4 repair deep scratches?
Absolutely!
Now should we clay all panels or just do panel at a time
You can do whatever you want as long as the panel is clayed before you cut and or polish it
Hi there! Either operation will work fine.
Would c4 work on carbon fiber?
Absolutely!
Where is your detail garage located? I checked all the detail garages next to me and they only sell products

What do you recommended using after the p4 polish to protect and seal the paint?
Hi Raul! Check out HydroSlick to lock in shine and repel harsh elements.
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Can you still get this result if you only have a one speed buffer
Hi there! Speed is necessary to create proper friction to diminish the product and refine imperfections.
I need to get me a kit!!
You're going to love it!
Do you wash the car again after claying?
Hey! Simply wipe away spent product with a clean microfiber towel.
So c4 then p4 after
You got it!
Can I use hydro shield on my rubber floor mats?
Yes!
Hey! HydroShield can be applied to any interior and exterior vinyl, rubber, and plastic.

Thanks for watching!
can't that clay bar catch on to the piece of tiny dirt spec and then by further rubbing it in you'd be basically making the hood worse?
Just sent you guys a message on IG
Thanks so much!
