So I sat there comfortably and listened with headphones and then came "Puppe". I had goosebumps all over my body. Till's screams went to my bones. I had never heard him like this before. Aside from the fact that the lyrics and the composition are awesome. If you want to hear the song again for yourself D, I recommend the album version! Thanks for this reaction! Yes, Puppe (pronunciation quite similar to French, ends with "e" not "ey") is very dark and disturbing. The imagery of the doll is really creepy, and music has this vibe that makes you sure something terrible is going to happen. And then comes the climax and black confetti... If you know the lyrics or speak German, then it is one of the most disturbing moments during current live shows. Actually, when I didn't let my sons (11 & 13 yo) go to the last Rammstein concert, one of the main reasons was Puppe. Really, I find it THAT disturbing... Nevertheless - have a nice day! 😉
This is one of their sadest songs, imo... The sister was actually working as a prostitute, at home, and he (the little boy who she doses so that he sleeps while she's working) watched her getting killed by a john, and then he became a serial killer of women himself, that's what I understand.
