That fingerprint sensor is such a pain... and I don't know about your experience, but you can't just *snap* the case back together - you have to get these little rubbery nubs to slide into the top and bottom of the sensor. It's a real pain. In any event, after the repair, my sensor was dead. A quick reboot fixed it, oddly enough. Thanks!
Great video, awesome step by step. I've repaired a lot of LG's up to the G6 but never took a Motorola apart before. I haven't ordered the replacement screen part yet. I wanted to make sure I could get it open first. Mine is a "seafoam green" and the edge of the frame between the back cover and screen is a metallic color and all I can find online are black frames. Do you have any recommendations for a screen/frame assembly in silver/metal color? Thanks again
So I just installed a new screen on the same phone. But the screen is extremely dim.. any ideas on why that could be happening. All the settings are good. And even when I install the old cracked screen it is still very dim all of a sudden.
@@s-us-u8296 Brightness is all the way up. And I already tried 2 screens and both had the same issue. The screen is very dark no matter how high I put the brightness. It's like it's stuck in some type of low light mode...
