I literally did the exact same thing minus the crash along with a Peugeot frame, get rid of your rear brake and slap it on fixed 👀🤝

true that but if you go a long distance I wouldn't imagine riding on a fixie.
Gears are not necessary but important. Fixie is nice in the city but not for traveling.
That's just me.

me I can do any distance on a fast fixie! :P
