This was a highly requested video! But as always, this kind of stuff requires some testing and takes a while to figure out. Thanks for watching! As always, consider checking out the links in the description! Subscribing helps a ton as well! Thanks!
One concept I had seen was to apply multipliers to the scoring based off of the tier ranking of each Combat Patrol. i.e. D tier gets 1.5, C tier 1.25, B tier 1, A tier 0.8 and S tier 0.6 as a multiplier. Thus encentivising playing lower tier patrols to get more overall points.
Great video on making Combat Patrol even better! 👍🏼 Not sure if you're aware that White Dwarf 496 has an article with rules to link games of CP into a mini campaign. Mainly augmenting setup rules depending on results from previous games.
Interesting suggestions here! We started playing Combat patrol with 5 friends during the Christmass Break. We just picked what we liked without researching if the teams are any good. We have 2 teams you rated Strong, 1 mid, 1Meh and 1 Bad. In order not to motivate the bottom teams. I'll be applying your suggested bonusses. However, would it be a good idea to give 1 of the following bonusses of choice per tier you are lower than your opponent (or would that be to strong?): -1 Turn3 CP -1 Free Command reroll - Mist (Cover if you go second) So if the Meh team were to play a Strong one (3tiers higher), it would get all 3 bonusses. Would that work? Or is it to strong that way?
Loved this concept. I was wondering if you would do a video on adding units to combat patrol. I live the combat patrol simple format a lot more compared to 40K but imy friends and I want to add 1 extra cool unit to each of our armies.

I saw it and thought it was a really cool inclusion. I should have probably at least mentioned it in the review.
Dude love this! Subed and liked. I really hope combat patro continues to grow!

Love your videos! Listen to them whenever I paint. Keep it up!
