You add pound for pound the best drummer in metal, Haruna and the one and only voice, Asami, who has pipes for days (reminiscent of Dickinson / Dio) and you have the full package. People who don't know LOVEBITES have no idea what they're missing. Witnessing GREATNESS and it won't last forever. 🤘
I saw them in Belgium, Germany and Italy in small venues. They were fantastic, got better from show to show with a always smiling and happy Fami❤😊. I‘m not a big fan of mid afternoon shows with daylight. But this performance Is sensationel and Asami‘s voice gorgeous and even more impressing than indoor. Love it❤❤❤

I have noticed since Knocken At Heavens Gate, that Miyako is becoming more animated on stage. I enjoy watching her interact with the others more often and seeing her having fun. I am not saying she wasn't enjoying herself before, but seeing her more active adds to the Bands stage presence.

Fami with the chest bump when Asami said "We are the metal warriors." Yes, yes you are. All of you! Pretty good sound for an open air festival in the raw. I'm sure it's better live than from a phone's audio. Guitars sound a little low but Asami is ringing out and that's great! So glad they are playing so many festivals. Best way to find new fans. I am envious of those who just had their minds blown. Great to see Miyako moving around and having fun, as someone else said. Also, compared to some of the small venue footage we have seen, can actually see Haruna here!
fully agree... on the other hand, how energetic Lovebites is in front of a 300 crowd in a small venue (and if u are in front row), this is an experience of its own...

This was awesome to watch, as have most of the on-the-road videos I have seen for the last week. These ladies are making a name for themselves worldwide. I have to admit I'm a little worried about Asami. I've been hearing her voice break here and there at these shows and I wonder if she has any professional help taking care of it. Her voice, I mean. I'm not saying this as a dig on her singing, I'm saying this as a musician who has seen singers blow their voices out. Her style is very hard on the throat, all those high sustains and the belting nature of it.. This schedule they are doing is great for their reputation and name recognition, but a vocalist, especially one of her range and style, needs time to recuperate and rest. One can replace strings and skins, frets and china, machines and pedals. The voice is the one instrument that needs time to rest and heal. Take of yourself beautiful Voice.

I hope that the ladies have someone to tell the bean counters and managers to go to hell and let them rest when they need it. Festival crowds are a bit different as they're there to see multiple bands. Having said that, they clearly enjoyed it especially with the response when Asami punched the air and almost everyone in the crowd followed, plus also the loud cheer at the end !
They are professional, but the service is terrible, when you can walk around the stage during a concert, it's like someone walking around the room while you're having sex.
Not sure if Motherhood has made Miyako so HAPPY to be on stage again , this is the Happiest Happiest I've ever seen the BAND , Spectacular performances !
Wow, I saw a few women in the crowd this time! Asami seems to be much more consistent this tour. That’s what I want to see and hear from her! The stuff on social media from this show is great as well, particularly Miyako’s behind the scenes and Haruna’s drum cam.

Not really. Haruna use a double pedal where the footpedals are apart as it would with 2 bass drums. But have 2 beaters/mallets on the 1 bass drum. Probably just goes with the 1, because it's easier to travel with, and also much easier to tune 1 than 2.
Most of the crowd will never have heard of Lovebites before and won't know the songs and will be intending standing there for seven hours after they finish to see several other bands until the show ends at 2am. They are pacing themselves !
Even with a modest microphone from a smart phone, what the ladies offer live sounds fantastic. Astonishing.

Wow, I saw a few women in the crowd this time! Asami seems to be much more consistent this tour. That’s what I want to see and hear from her! The stuff on social media from this show is great as well, particularly Miyako’s behind the scenes and Haruna’s drum cam.

Not really.
Haruna use a double pedal where the footpedals are apart as it would with 2 bass drums. But have 2 beaters/mallets on the 1 bass drum. Probably just goes with the 1, because it's easier to travel with, and also much easier to tune 1 than 2.

It happened several times - 2019 Summer Sonic video shows one, as did their show in Los Angeles 2024. I think Dallas 2024 had one as well.

Most of the crowd will never have heard of Lovebites before and won't know the songs and will be intending standing there for seven hours after they finish to see several other bands until the show ends at 2am. They are pacing themselves !
