I think investors should always put their cash to work, especially In 2024, we'll start to see more market diversification. I'm hoping to invest about $350k of my savings in stocks against next year. Hope to make millions in 2024
Since risk is at an all-time high right now, perhaps you should be a little more patient and return when it has decreased. Alternatively, you can consult a trained financial expert for strategy.
Yes true, I have been in touch with a brokerage Advisor. With an initial starting reserve of $80k, my advisor chooses the entry and exit commands for my portfolio, which has grown to approximately $550k.
Angela Lynn Shilling is the licensed advisor I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
this is nice and all, but where do you get the dividend data from the start? can it be automated? i don't see anything in google sheets that pulls dividend cash amounts.
I just want to hear this dude whisper softly in my ear. I don’t know exactly what it is about his voice. It’s so soothing though. I could listen to Brian Turgeon say “let’s get started” right before I go to sleep for the rest of my life. His voice is so soft, gentle, caring. You can tell he cares about his spreadsheets, he cares about his followers, he cares about us. Goodnight, Brian.
This is the best and most pedagogical video I have seen so far about stock/dividends tracker, the way you explain the formulas and everything is amazing, instead of just copying we are actually UNDERSTANDING what each thing does, appreciate it! subscribed.
Yes this is possible. I've added it to my personal dividend portfolio tracker (based on this video) i've made a video explaining exactly how I made mine on my channel
Please give us a way where sheets can display the dividend data , yield , projected (based on your shares), ex dividend date, payout date.....all that stuff. Really like your videos. Thanks for all you do.
Brian, Greatly appreciate you doing all these Google sheets, they are educational, informative and practical. There are demands on stock trading journals /spread sheet, and day trading journals. Please consider the topics for future developments. Again Thank You very much.
I had to watch this in the same manner as when I watch painter Bob Ross! I watch for 2-3 minutes, then I take about 15 minutes to think about and do what I just saw! Amazing and very useful Google Sheets skills/knowledge, Bro. I like your stock picks, too!
So I've watched a few of your videos and I think your doing great. I was hoping that you might expand more on the dividends, to include a 5 year average dividend yield and a 10 year dividend yield, so that a dividend investor, using those averages might be able decide if a company is over/under valued.
Hi Brian, I'm just learning to build these spreadsheets and love that you put this tutorial on line! thanks a ton for the head start vs figuring all this out on my own. Cheers!
Excellent video and I learned a lot following your tutorial from scratch. I'd love to see another video on adding quantities of shares to see the annual impact.
Is there a way to add the number of shares you have per stock that will adjust the dividends earned accordingly as you purchase more throughout the year?
Hi Brian, thanks for the video it's been a great help. I've added some features such as graphs and barcharts to give the tracker some more visuals. Great video and keep at it making awesome content like this!
I'm having serious problems trying to introduce US and other countries taxes and also the US/EUR conversion into the equation. Found you table very easy to implement, do you have any advice for my tedious task?
Hey Brian... Excellent video but I lost you and I know I could not do this on my own. Do you know if there is a site that has a blank spread sheet with all the formulas? Thanks in advance.
Let me see if I got it. Your dividends list was entered manually, but you're (not your) making a calendar-type calculator for the totals. I was hoping it was a current automatic dividend spreadsheet. It looks good, not just what I need.
Great video. Easy to follow. However, as you know, companies are not obliged to pay a dividend. Would it be possible for your tracker to show missed dividends as a red cell.
that depends in Mexico FIBRAS (REIT's) are obliged to pay 95% of the fiscal result to the investors, not sure how it works in the USA. But that is the way it works in Mexico
Like yourself I’m very knowledgeable when using all aspects of excel and inputting data. However, many people are not. Your video was much to quick in execution
HI NICE VIDEO PLEASE HELP FOR MY PROBLEM IF I WANT ONLY COMPANY NAME HOW TO KNOW NAME LISTED CODE LIKE I KNOW COMPANY NAME IS APPLE INC SO HOW CAN AND WHICH FORMULA TO KNOW TICKER NAME IS AAPL HAVE ANY FORMULA ?

Hey! Did you make millions?
this is nice and all, but where do you get the dividend data from the start? can it be automated? i don't see anything in google sheets that pulls dividend cash amounts.
Did you find out how to get the dividend data to start sheet 2?
@@Joe-tg5rq I thought I was missing something as well.
Manually I guess 😢
Unless you import a csv file from your broker and make a function to list only the dividends 😅
The secret to build a good dividend tracker is to already have all the dividend data apparently
Do you have here a link to open that spreadsheet that you created? Thanks
Brian where are you scrapping the dataset for each Stock, Dividend and Month? - Minute 4:45. Cab this be scrapped or ae we doing it manually?

Holy Cow son,......that whipping around,...I was whipped off the trail, I will have to watch this in slow motion.
That's great but is there a way that the yield data can be populated dynamically with Google Finance or other??
Yes this is possible. I've added it to my personal dividend portfolio tracker (based on this video) i've made a video explaining exactly how I made mine on my channel

Where do you get the dividend data from that appears at 4:42 in the video. Surely that is what this video is all about. Please let me know.
Great job.. Nice and simple..
what is the formula for the Dividend column on the Dividend list sheet or is this something that need to be added manually?
This is what I was wondering.
@@theocratickingdom30 if you guys are talking about Column C in the 2nd Tab (the tab where he enters payment data) this is added manually.

Is this only good for stocks listed on the Dow?
Is there a way to add the number of shares you have per stock that will adjust the dividends earned accordingly as you purchase more throughout the year?
Beautiful. Thank you!
Great! Thank you. I'm looking for a good way to show my dividend yield in real time in percentage . Do you know a good way to?
How would I add something that would factor in the amount of shares purchased on specific days through out the year
Great video! I'd like a copy of this tracker, where's the link?
hey Brian Thank you for the video, however the link to download the template is not available, could you please add it.

I've put some work into expanding the tracker Brian detailed in this video. perhaps check out my take on it and maybe it's what you're looking for.
