I lost my little Buddy, a mini poodle, 6 months ago. I miss him so very much. He was the runt and I took him in after his mama wouldn’t feed him anymore. He gave me 11 wonderful years of companionship. I miss his goofiness. R.I.P. my little Buddy and thank you for sticking by me for 11 yrs 😢🐩❤️
At 2:35 it was so adorable how Bailey knew where summer was, and at 2:46 when summer would roll around when you were singing that song. And poodles are even more intelligent then I thought they were! 💗🐶💗
Hello Tatjiana! Thank you so much for your kindness and for dropping by our channel! I am happy that our video helped! Have you decided which size to get? ☺️
I had toy poodles all of my life. I finally got a Standard Poodle. I would NEVER go back to a toy again. This Standard is so smart. She is almost human.
never had a mini, but i have a toy and seen other toys , they can be anxious and will follow you everywhere like a baby, but they are very loving and cute ❤️ A mini might be better with kids and less nervous
Thank you! I adopted a toy poodle and am going to pick her up tomorrow she is 7 years old so I hope can still be trained as she was very neglected and left outside for most of her life. She is a rescue.
Hi Carol! Gosh! Bless you and your family for this! Oh definitely still trainable! They are such loving dogs! I'm sure you will do wonders with her! Does she have a name already? Do let us know if there is any small way we can help.
Thank you, on behalf of all homeless dogs, pure-bred or not, for considering this option - You will be rewarded with a loving and grateful companion. Somehow, they just know that you rescued them from a life of neglect and in some instances worse. All three of my guys were rescued and I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful experience. It takes a special heart to do what you are doing and I applaud you for looking past the stigma that some would assign to rescue dogs and acting with your heart and in the dog's best interest. Bravo! Congratulations on your new best friend :)
Mine is 8 years old that I rescued a week ago. She had been very neglected. Very easy to train if you know basic dog trainings skills. I watched a lot of dog training videos on RUclips & TV before adopting.
I just adopted a 13 lb. poodle so I appreciate the information. Totally makes sense. Great dog. So well-behaved, easy to train, and she is already very attached & affectionate. Never had a sweeter dog.💗💗💗
You are such a loving, cute and kind woman full of passion and love for her dogs. I also have a toy poodle and everything you said matched perfectly. My poodle is exactly like yours. Picky eater super clever good with kids does prefer spending time with humans. So nice to see she’s not the only one. Thank you for you quality content I can really see the effort you put into it ! Keep it going you got my subscription
Thank you so much for your kind words. It meand the world to see that there are still amazing people like you. Thank you for the support and for loving my girls. It means the world to me.
I enjoyed your video, thank you. In the event an owner can't do a daily walk, a treadmill is wonderful. I sat at the front of my treadmill and read the newspaper to him. Exercise and interaction at the same time. LOL I also feed raw but it needs to be a balanced raw. 80 percent meat, 20 percent nonstarchy [steamed] veggies and fruits. No grains or legumes. Never had tear stains, yeast, no weight issues, and smaller poops. Poodles are incredibly smart and social.
Thank you so much for watching the video! Oh yes for the treadmill hahaha how I wish I have the space to be able to get and keep one in our house. Amazing work you have doing for your own pups!
Love your videos, very good information and all true. I have been lucky enough to have poodles since 1969. Have had all three sizes over the years and loved them all.
Thank you so much for watching our videos! 1969! THAT IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! What are their names? I want all 3 sizes too! Hahahah, when I get my own place, I will surely have them! LOL Thank you soooo much for sharing your story!
Omg the if you’re happy and you know it turn around - so cute ☺️ My dad just got a toy poodle - really love watching your videos and will encourage him to watch too. Thank you!!!
Hahahah thank you so much! It was such a fun trick to teach her XD Whoohooo!! Welcome to the poodle owner's club! They are such an amazing breed! What did you guys name your pupper?
Our toy poodle is 12, she is an absolute joy. No problems with kids or other animals. We had her genetically tested for eye problems (which are common), happily she doesn’t have any problems but we would have dealt with it if she had. One thing though, floppy ears and resultant ear infections, especially after being in water. Absolute joy of a pet ❤️. X
That’s amazing!! So happy for you! May I ask what test you used? I am seriously considering getting embark dna kits to test my girls 😅 Just for future reference. What’s your cutie’s name? I pray my girls will live as healthy as your baby!
@@poodlemom hi yep her name is Mimi. Tbh I can’t remember the name of the test it was via the vet when she was a puppy. I just thought it was best to know if we would need to be vigilant for the future. Happy to say she’s not had any health problems (apart from her ears but that’s just a ‘floppy’ dog ear thing). She literally comes everywhere with us and if you see us you see Mimi 😁.X
My Toy Poodle just turned 18 Dec. 5, I lost my other toy poodle (Pippin ) Smokies brother , a couple of months ago at age 17, and Ruby my teacup poodle at age 12 from Cancer, I was never a poodle person before I got mine (my first two, Sally (who has passed about 3 years ago )and Smokie my 18yr old ) in 2004 and I was hooked on the breed. They are so smart and understand everything you say. Ruby was not a runt, but she only made it to 3 lbs, and her parents were both under 5 lbs and she came from an accredited breeder she also was not rejected by her mother in fact she was raised with her mom for 4 months because she was so small her litter mate were the same size as her and the breeder wanted her to stay with her mom until she was 16 weeks instead of the usual 8 to 10 weeks. Mine are very good with children. Strangers not so much.... I've had many toy poodles over the last 20 years and I always hear the same thing, that they are smart, they don't do well with children and so on, but I feel like its the same with Pit bulls they have all these set ideas of what they are, I've also had a lot of them too and I've never had a mean one yet my sons and daughter in law has always had them and they have never had a mean one either they get along with other dogs and are great with kids.... That being said, With Poodles and Pit bulls alot of it comes down to bad breedings like breeding aggressive or dominant dogs with dominant dogs your gonna get dominant puppies or with poodles breeding fearful or nervous or aggressive with the same personality or gonna get a dog that has problems. For the most part It is the people either breeding the wrong dogs or people who teach them bad habits and rewarding them for being aggressive thinking that will make them protective, but what makes them protective is a family that treats them well.
I couldn’t agree more to this! Thanks for sharing your story ❤️❤️❤️ I enjoyed reading the whole thing. 🥺🥺🥺 I wasn’t a poodle person too until I got Summer hahahaha.
Great video! And thank you, thank you, thank you for talking about “teacup” poodles. That goes for any breed - no such thing as a teacup. I see it all the time and it makes me so angry! Just like you said, teacups are often the sickly runts. I thought it was very important information. Your babies are so cute!!
You are so welcome! Thank you for your kind thoughts! So happy to hear there are people who feel the same way that I do when it comes to such matters. >_
nowadays specially in the states. pet health insurance is seemingly affordable. soon after i put a puppy deposit. i got him his health insurance. mind you, it cost me $26/ month which is not bad at all. and it includes hospitalization, surgeries and major health issues that could cost hundreds even thousands of $$$.
That’s so good! We also have pet insurance here. Affordable but seemingly difficult when it comes to claiming them. Praying that their systems develop more for more pets to benefit from.
@@poodlemom the first day we got him. He was almost 4 mos old! Can you believe it?! He was running back and forth inside the house so we took him out to the garden. Voila! From then on, every time we see him running, sort of a little uneasy, we know he needs to go. Not to mention, this dog, they're the sweetest! And I can't sleep without my Arch next to me.
Lol!! So you didn’t really teach him where to go. He just knew?! That’s sooo awesome!!! Absolutely amazing dogs right? I can’t imagine myself with a different breed now hahaha! I can just imagine! I can’t sleep without my girls too!
@@nino-simp Lol! Is your pup a he or a she? XD My Chihuahua used to be like that, because he wasn't potty trained correctly. :) Never making the same mistake again hahah!
very glad to find you! I just bought a toy poodle chi mix but she is %75 poodle. She does not show any chi in her. She is a black phantom and will be around 6-7 lbs full grown. She is 3lbs at 11weeks. I;ve always had shihtzus or yorkies maltese mixes. Poodles are more active for sure! I am glad I know how to groom my dogs, I have three right now...but I'm just trying to figure out what kind of cut I will give her. She is 11 weeks now and getting her used to brushing and shaving.
Came across this video a this was 3years ago but I got a poodle a this help alot on my choice to get one. Taking class so I can learn to cut my boy hair to save few bucks 👍🏽 thanks
Hallo! Thank you so much! It's a combination of 2 tricks. I taught her how to lie down first then used a treat to encourage her to lie further down and eventually roll over. ^^
Thank you Poodle Mommy! I recently adopted a miniature poodle from Korea! Her name is Mango and she will join my family very soon! Your experience and information gives me great relief and helps me to prepare even further for Mango's happiness!
Hi Elly! Hahah sure, it's actually pretty simple but one of the most difficult things to do as a dog parent XD You can start by not paying attention to your dog for at least a week :) No eye contact, no petting, no calling, no hugging, no nothing XD This is the first step. We can guide you thru this, just contact us in any of our social media channels or a private message here on YT. Thank you so much! We are happy that you are enjoying our content. If you have some ideas for plausible future content you'd like to see, do share them with us ^^ It will really help the channel. Cheers!
With our dog, we dealt with it by bringing her everywhere with us 😁. However, sensible answer now. We crate trained her as a puppy, so if we need to be separate she has a safe covered place to be quiet. She settles down and goes to sleep, x
@@eileenmcchrystal7254 YES to crate training! I never thought it would be one of the most useful things I could teach my dogs until I did it with my two girls.
I watched this a couple times before I got mine, he's a baby right now, he's super tiny and we have to be very careful with him. Very helpful video, thank you!
@@poodlemom He's still getting used to his new home, he's not doing bad for potty training, the only problem so far is that he doesn't recognize the entire house to be where he lives and that he shouldn't go potty on the floor (we use puppy pads), but we put him on his pee pad when we see him sniffing around in a spot he's already explored, looking for a spot to do his business. He's a bitey baby, but he's learning with patience, sound aversion (a squeak or high pitched ow), and lots of toys. He is very clingy, it's hard to let him be when he whines like he's dying after we are about 10 feet away from him. His fur is super curly at only 8 weeks old, he's so tiny, I never really understood how tiny the puppies are until I got one.
I adopted a one eyed toy, will be 3 years November 5th. we've had her, shes 4.5 years old who lost her eye in an accident. Shes on the small side between 6 and 7 pounds depending on the season, lighter in warmer months. I love her so much. I dont know Much about her background. Her family couldn't afford her due to health issues. So she was nursed back to health and now very healthy. She has to be on digestive royal canin and watch when she jumps, we have doggy steps. A little timid with young kids. Most people ok and small dogs she gets along pretty well. She was given a second chance and grateful I can be her mom. My husband and I love our tou poodle. Spoiled and sweet.Anyone considering. Must have at least two walks a day due to their energetic nature.
Hi Stacy! Thank you for sharing this beautiful story! Bless you for giving a home to her! What you did is not an easy decision, I’m sure of that. May there be more people like you! ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Beau! Thank you so much! I agree with the howling, even if people will condemn me for it hahah! I also found it very cute and sweet. XD I posted the whole video before on facebook and people almost killed me for leaving her XD The internet is scary at times.
Wonderful video!! I just put my beloved Toy Poodle to sleep January 25th. She was 14. She had numerous mouth infections and heart issues. If I get another dog it will definitely be a Toy Poodle!!!
Thank you Ida! I'm sure she had a great life with you. I dream that my girls stay with me for as long as they can. And yes! I can't imagine myself with any other breed of dog honestly. XD
Just wanna say thank you as we got a toy poodle last week for the same reasons in this video as all of us here are asthmatic and omg he(my poodle) really learned to potty train so fast with the help of your vids!🥳well except for when we let him explore the whole house did the accidents happen😢lol but anw, I hope to be able to teach him the amazing tricks you thought bailey and summer😄

I'm interested in cooking for my dog and feeding my dog raw food. Can you please talk more about Bailey's and Summer's food? Really want to hear more about dog nutrition.
Hi Poi! Thank you for watching our videos and supporting our channel! Wow! That's absolutely amazing of you! yes yes yes for going all natural! May we ask what made you make that decision? ^^ I love how more and more pet parents are going all natural. We do have upcoming videos on this where we will be sharing our journey from kibble to homecooked and occasionally raw. We will soon share the supplements we use as well. Please look forward to them in the coming weeks!
The Poodle Mom my pup is a picky eater so I’ve been cooking for her. But then I only have one recipe so I’m pretty sure she’s getting tired of it hahaha! I think having better understanding of dog nutrition will at least give me more options in making food for her.
@@BisayaBlondie I feel for you!! Picky eaters are so difficult to deal with! But yay for you for cooking for her! It takes time but for sure it's all worth it! Yes, I will share all my recipes soon as well as tips on how to balance the meals. This for me was the scariest part when I cook and prepare raw meals for my dogs haha!
Hello! Diet and nutrition are number one in preventing it from worsening. Exercise is important too- specifically brisk walking. It’s a need so that the muscles will wrap around the knee to strengthen it. And of course- spaying or neutering the said pup and not spreading their genes to the next generation is a big help. 🫶
Hey Lucy! Hahah, I totally agree, I just didn't want to make this video too long. I was thinking of making a separate video talking about how poodles are misunderstood like you suggested XD I'll seek your expertise on that hahah!
I loved my standard poodle, best dog I ever had. I did my own grooming and kept her shaved, she was an active dog and short hair was simply easier to care for. She lived to be 15 yrs. We have a toy poodle now. I don’t think I would want to own another breed.
Hi Dolly! I couldn’t agree more!! I can’t imagine having another breed! 🥰 The standard is one of my dream dogs! That’s absolutely amazing! I pray that I can do the same for my girls! ❤️❤️❤️ The goal is to make them live as long and as healthy as possible! May I ask for tips on what you did, supplements you used or practices?
@@poodlemom to be honest I didn’t do anything out of the ordinary. Annual checkups, kept shots current, heart worm, and regular kibble dog food (mostly science diet or iams), daily walks, and yes she did get table scraps from time to time. She was rarely boarded and traveled with us if we could find a way (otherwise she stayed with a neighbor). She was a real member of our family.
thank you very much for your helpful information video. twas good! I'd like this dog for a service animal. I think this dog will fit the bill nicely. I will just have to make sure that the dog does not becoming anxious if I leave it alone.

I have a toy poodle and a bichon frise, I can tell the huge difference as I have the comparisons. My toy puddle is just like a human, she understands not only commands, but conversations!! My bichon is so "dumb" compared to my toy poodle, because it only took me a few hours training my toy poodle to ring the bell to go outside potty, it took me almost a year with the bichon. It takes no time to teach the toy poodle any tricks, but I often lose patience with the bichon though. If you are still debating between a poodle or other breeds, get a poodle if you want another "human". Training is crucial at the early age though.
@@poodlemom my bichon is a couch potato compared to my poodle, I love them both dearly, but the poodle is just too smart, she's the boss and she rules, kinda fiesty as well, has an attitude and very protective. Bichon just loves anyone, including intruders 🤣, so poodle is our watch dog 😄.
@@pc0086 LOL! It's really amazing to see how different each dog is and how they assimilate to their humans' lifestyles. My Summer might be a fake poodle- she's definitely smart but man, she is one lazy couch potato hahaahhaha!
Mine actually found a 10 dollar note and gave it to me on my birthday. When I woke up and walk out he ran and dropped the note early morning. Smart is an understatement.
I just lost my toy poodle 😞😢he was 13 yrs old and passed away from a mass tumor that metastasized and was given only 2 months and he truly only lived 2 months 😞 it is devastating so much this lump appeared over night I loved him as my own child fed him thee best toy poodle food zero table food .best all natural treats and I read all food labels ...he had his regular check ups ...yet still he got cancer ... And yes for their longevity and their so beautiful and loving toy poodles ...then then why ???? Did my poodle got cancer ???even my vet and the consulting surgeon was confused and devastated as they don’t even get cancer etc ...And sadly surgery would’ve saved him 😞And they are thee healthiest breed...I’m so devastated 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢thank you for sharing your video and your beautiful babies mine looked just like your Summer so beautiful 🥰❤️🇺🇸
I am sooooo sorry for your loss. We will never know. I just lost my cat- not even to cancer but vet malpractice- I too don’t understand why it had to happen to her. She was perfectly fine and was just 3 years old 💔 So I can imagine your hurt. Sending hugs and prayers 🙏
Im a proud poodle mum, I love my fur baby, she is sweet loyal, want to be with me all the time, but when I'm away she gets severe separation anxiety, poodles are smart and obedient. I would only recommend a poodle to a person who is responsible and loving, and motivated, as they need regular grooming, and attention. Besides that they can have some health problems from, joint problems, teeth problems, heart problems, and epilepsy. Besides this they are truly a family member light a child. They are the greatest pet ever. And are very smart, and quick learners. These dogs deserve the best in life and deserve to be loved
I am leaning towards a toy poodle, especially since I live in a condo (across from walking trails) but, am struggling with the guilt of not adopting. Breeders have a stigma.
Hi Goldie! Thank you for your comment. Please allow me to speak my thoughts. I personally find it unfair that there is a stigma in buying from good breeders. I really think that the stigma is in the idea of "BUYING" rather than rescuing a dog, which is so unfair because not everyone is cut out to rescue for legit reasons like families and such. I have so much respect for families who can afford to rescue just as much as I have respect for people who buy a forever family member. Now, don't get me wrong, I have no unfair biases against buying nor rescuing. I just want people to respect people's choices. Buying a dog is in no way evil for the right reasons and the same goes for rescuing. The way I see it, buying a dog from a breeder is not for everyone and the same goes for rescuing a dog is not for everyone. We all have our own circumstances and specific lifestyle needs. What's more important than "buying or rescuing" is making sure that when you bring home your new pet, is that no matter what happens, you can assure them a forever home because it is a lifetime commitment. Because regardless of lets say you rescue and the dog or cat is not a right fit to your lifestyle, then the poor animal will end up homeless a couple times over. And let's say you buy a dog and you are just not cut out to handle a puppy and you get frustrated- then here's another homeless animal going to the shelter. I hope you understand where I am coming from? Anyway, I respect whatever good and reasonable choices people make. I say do what you want and ignore other people's selfish opinions because it's your life and not theirs. So long as you do what you do for the right reasons, I do not see any reason to have any fear of any stigma! Best of luck!
I found my miniature poodle through Perfinder.com he was 6 months old, precious & smart - also- google poodle rescues in your area - don't ever "buy" a dog! Too many sweet dogs in Foster care, shelters, etc. My Choppy was the love of my life - he passed away, last December. Good luck!
@@poodlemom It is hardly "selfish" my dear girl, to want to give a home to a homeless animal! My KIND point was (having rescued three pure-bred animals) that if one is looking for a purebred pet-- many people are unaware that there are better avenues in which to find them. Your comments aimed at me simply show a great lack of understanding. For every poodle that one buys from a pet store, or "breeder" then another perfectly wonderful poodle goes without a forever home, and in some incidences, a perfectly wonderful poodle dies in a shelter. So, if you advocate loving poodles so much, then you do not attack others for pointing out that there are other avenues available to find a new family member. I am highly resentful of your tone -- and shocked at your blatant attack. I will go further and point out that cruel and unscrupulous "breeders", sometimes known as backyard breeders, and also puppy mills exist because often, people are Ignorant of their options and think that buying is the only option.. Rescuing an animal is not inexpensive either - but the money goes to give another homeless, discarded dog a forever home. I LOVE animals, and specifically, I LOVE poodles. If I can educate one person on the plight of so many homeless dogs just dying for a loving home and you find that selfish or judgmental - then you are the one with the problem my dear.
I have a 2yo girl toy poodle and a 9yo male 110lb GSD, gsd was house trained in a week and we got him at 6.5 weeks. She took like 1 year to finally completely stop peeing inside even though she knew , we got her at 8 weeks. She's extremely picky eater like insanely picky only will eat freshpet wet food. She was supposed to be a 17-20lb poodle so she's a runt and she's been amazing and runs faster than my shepherd by alot lol she's sooooo loyal and listens so well!!! We live in the country and let the dogs out and free roam, she's/they have never run off ever! She plays with the cat and bunny and cuddles my legs every night! I love her and she trys to be a house protector 😆 and she's GREAT with my 7yo & my 4yo and my 4yo treats her like a stuffed animal she just takes it she's not yappy (i was scared of that yappy crap) and she's never nipped anyone or even attempted too heard alot of bad but she's been amazing
Omg! Thanks for sharing! This made me laugh a couple of times especially the stubbornness with the potty training and picky eating hahahaha reminds me of my girls XD I’m sure your lovely dogs are lucky to be a part of your family!

@@TishaThrives Hello to your Sassyyyy!! Hahaha she will grow an even bigger attitude as she gets older XD Hahah, yes for the awkward puppy fur stage. Many people have messaged me about how their pups don't have the nice curly coat. So basically they go thru an awkward growing stage from around 5- 10 months old. Their adult fur grows and starts curling at around 9 months. ^^

Hi Prem! Thank you so much for watching our videos! I am happy they help! Hahah yes I work, I actually work 2 jobs though it may not seem like it ^^ Well, in my experience so long as the pups are well trained to fit in, into the kind of lifestyle the owners have, then regardless of what they do, they should be fine. In our case, I trained my girls to manage being alone for at least 12 hours in cases of days where I am out for work and such. Hahaha! I'll try to come up with a video on managing my dogs even as I work XD I can talk more about it on Wednesday for our upcoming live. If you'd like, we can talk there ^^ Happy holidays!
Thank you so much!! They are both toy poodles based on the FCI standards. But Bailey the red poodle might be a very small miniature if we base it on the AKC standards. 😀
Miss there is a new breed added to the three you mentioned. Standard, Moyer, Mini and toy. The Moyer in called a Mini Moyer Poodle and stands in between the Standard and Mini poodle. They can be between 15 Pounds and 35 pounds. Breeders are not telling people this like me who thought I was buying a Mini poodle as I lost my 16 year old Mini Poodle named Hannah. Look into it.
Hehe, like I said. This is just based on the AKC standard :). I already have an updated video on the sizes 😀 Thanks for the feedback :) I’m so sorry for your loss too. Praying you find the right pup for you.
But that’s also how miniatures and toys came to exist breeding smaller doesn’t necessarily mean unhealthy breeding practices. You just need to know the breeder and their intentions. And runts aren’t always unhealthy sometimes they’re just smaller at birth because of placement inside the uterus but then can grow up to be one of the biggest out of the litter or the same size as their siblings. I’ve had that happen a couple of times. My current dog a black lab was the runt and now at 2 1/2 she turned out to be the 2nd biggest weighing 80lbs and the people who passed on her because she was the runt regret it besides being the 2nd biggest she’s super smart and has the most even temperament out of all of her siblings
@@lll9409 I think this also depends on the personality of the dog. A combination of personality and training. But any "bad" or "naughty" dog can become a "good" dog with proper training ^^

Hi! I love your video and your personality! You are so cute and upbeat and sweet just like your baby girls! And you explain things so well! I have been thinking for a long time of getting or rather adopting a "little white fluffy dog"...so I just starting to do some research as to what kind...so your video has been really helpful for that reason! Especially since you mentioned and stressed how much care they need and how expensive it can get...and how it is a long term life commitment...I want to be able to provide the best care for any that I adopt...So I just have a question about the grooming...you had said that "unless you are OK with a dog that is constantly shaved"...I am not sure what you meant by that? Did you mean shaving your dog at home on your own instead of bringing him or her to the groomer every 3 weeks? OK...thanks and please I hope you have a chance to respond! And keep up your great videos and sweet pleasant personality...You are providing a great service to people and animals and helping so much to make our world a more pleasant, happy place to live in! Thanks!
Hi Karen! Thank you so much for your kindness! It means the world to me that the content I make help other people. Shaved pup meaning, the pup is constantly in what you call a "summer cut or summer shave" depends on what groomers call it in different countries. It just means they fur is basically skin short XD The thing is, my personal preference is that bear like look hence all the work I mentioned when it comes to maintaining their coats. If you have your dog in a summer cut, then it will take longer for it to grow hence saving you a lot of money in grooming. Hope this answers your question! Cheers!
@@poodlemom Yes I get it! When you keep it really short, eg. shaved/summer cut...it doesn't look as nice as the furry look you prefer...and I like too...but it takes longer to grow to where it needs to be trimmed again...this requiring less cuts and less money...? Thanks! I really appreciate it!
@@karena.buckley1190 When it is shaved in a summer cut, it takes about 4 months for it to grow an inch. So yeah, you technically save a lot of money and time from grooming. The longer the coat, the tougher it is to brush. You are most welcome! Happy to help!

Growing up we had 3 different mini poodles. They were great with kids.

They are super intelligent & yep our 12 year old poodle can still learn new tricks. I’m sure you will manage, just be consistent . 😁X
Good luck you will need it.
I really envy you that you have two little angels!

I see it all the time and it makes me so angry! nowadays specially in the states. pet health insurance is seemingly affordable. soon after i put a puppy deposit. i got him his health insurance. mind you, it cost me $26/ month which is not bad at all. and it includes hospitalization, surgeries and major health issues that could cost hundreds even thousands of $$$.
That’s so good! We also have pet insurance here. Affordable but seemingly difficult when it comes to claiming them. Praying that their systems develop more for more pets to benefit from.

How do you know when your dogs patella is subluxated? And how do you handle it or treat it to keep the dog comfortable and to not let it get worse?
Hello! Diet and nutrition are number one in preventing it from worsening. Exercise is important too- specifically brisk walking. It’s a need so that the muscles will wrap around the knee to strengthen it.

Oh wow! Congratulations!! Do you have a name for your pup already? Thank you so much! I am happy that the video helped!
I laughed so hard while I was reading your story! My friend says the same thing about her cutie Bichon pup! HAHAHAHAHA!! But they are just soooo cute!

I couldn't agree more!!! I can't imagine myself with another breed!
Good luck!

They're so adorable.
Thank youuuu!!! 🥺🥺🥺
May I know what treats you give them when you train them? I just got a 9 months poodle and he doesn't really like treats I gave him
Hi! I use treats from a local brand called Pawfect Plate ^^ Just visit their website: www.pawfectplate.com , they have a wide variety of treats ^^ They love the liver treats ^^
Omg too much cuteness awww 🥰 xx
XD Do you have a poodle yourself?
Granny always kept a pack of small poodles around. When I was a little kid, they kicked me around! Still grew up to be a dog person, and yeah - poodles are wicked smart.
Oh gosh that's hillarious! You got bullied by your grandma's Poodles? XD
I just got my mini poodle I absolutely love 💕 her
Thank you for sharing your beautiful story! I am happy you gave a home to your new mini! What is her name?
I love your videos I have a toy poodle also whose 4 months old
Hi Belle! Thank you so much! Oh wow! What is your toy poodle's name?
@@poodlemom My little sassy girl's name is Lulu! 3lbs of attitude lol 😂 I love her though we are going through the puppy biting it is really bad 🥴 btw did your pups ever go through an "ugly" phase with their fur from puppy to adult?
@@TishaThrives Hello to your Sassyyyy!! Hahaha she will grow an even bigger attitude as she gets older XD Hahah, yes for the awkward puppy fur stage. Many people have messaged me about how their pups don't have the nice curly coat. So basically they go thru an awkward growing stage from around 5- 10 months old. Their adult fur grows and starts curling at around 9 months. ^^
@@poodlemom Thank you so much I was worried 😟 thank you for responding 😁
@@TishaThrives You are most welcome! I was in your shoes too! haha What's your pup's name?
I have two toy poodles and have had three. They are sometimes scarily smart and never cease to amaze me. Oh yea, by the way, they are excellent bed buddies, but have been known to push you out of your own bed.😂
Hahahahah you can say that again 🤣🤣🤣 I’m babysitting 1 extra pup now so I have 4. My gahhhdddd I am being excluded from my own bed 😂😂😂
I just lost my 19 year old white girl toy poodle. She was soooo sweet and I ended up grooming her myself as I could do a basic clipper cut on her and keep her at manageable length. Best dog ever, I will miss her till I leave this realm.
Amazing thank you so much for sharing this!! I hope to have long years with my girls as you did with your loving angel! I can only imagine the heartbreak. Sending you prayers and hugs.

Hi Poodle mom
Omg! Soooo sooo adorable your poodle family is! ❤️
I must say very well trained & loved.
Your videos are very helpful , thnx for sharing your experience with us.
One question
Do you work? And how do you manage that with the two poodles?
And plz share a routine that how often you leave them alone ?
Thnxxx
Merry Christmas & happy new year 🥳🎄🎅🏽🎁🎼🙏
If you'd like, we can talk there ^^
Happy holidays!
I'm picking up my Toy poodle "Sax" next month. You mention the anxiety but how did you cure it? Or did you? How do you prevent it?
Whoohoooo!!! Congratualtions!!! It’s hard to rid anxiety once it’s imprinted. Early training and socialization helps prevent it!!!
Your poodles are adorable, what size is the red one, I want one exactly like that from the face features.
Thank you so much!! They are both toy poodles based on the FCI standards. But Bailey the red poodle might be a very small miniature if we base it on the AKC standards. 😀
I’m getting a toy poodle in the summer I’m so excited 😆
Oh wow!! We are very excited for you!! Do you have a name for your pup already? ^^
im getting my toy poodle tommorow hehehe i am very excited
Oh wow! Congratulations!! Such exciting news!!! I'm sure it's gonna be a blast! Do you have a name for your pup already? ^^
@@poodlemom yep clover ! please post more videos
I already have an updated video on the sizes 😀 Thanks for the feedback :)
I’m so sorry for your loss too.
Ok :)
Please make a video on how to train the dogs.
Hi! Sure! Definitely working on this video ^^ Thanks for watching!
Oh yea. Poodles are darlings. I have a toy poodle & a cockapoo. They both are super smart but cheeky at times.😁😁😁😁😁
Hi Anne! Yes they are! Hahaha super cheeky at times 😂😂😂 not to mention super sneaky as well! Lol
I watched this video cause I was gonna get a toy poodle and yeah it pretty helpfulll,,thanku
Thank you so much! I am happy you found it helpful! ^^ We are excited for you! It's gonna be a blast!
Do NOT! Unless you are committed to train it hard! Otherwise it will become a psychotic bite machine!
@@lll9409 I think this also depends on the personality of the dog. A combination of personality and training. But any "bad" or "naughty" dog can become a "good" dog with proper training ^^
thank you so much i am getting a male toy poodle named spot and he is coming in a week because he is in missouri and this is so helpful. I have a question also how expensive were both of your girls because my toy poodle costs 4,300 dollars
Hello! Omg! I would pay 4,300 for a show dog quality pup. Winter is a show pup :)
well I thought he was a toy poodle but it turns out that the breeder gave us the wrong dog and he was a mini poodle. I got him in November 3. But I am still keeping him cause he is a great companion@@poodlemom
