Can he make someone immortal, though? Sure, he's basically immortal and he can cause chaos, and do all manner of fun little things, but can he give that sort of gift to someone else? Fluttershy has clearly aged, she's got bags under her eyes and looks generally tired. Alicorns sure seem to be immortal and via turning someone into an alicorn give the gift of immortality or at the very least they seem to age very very slowly considering in a thousand years, Tia and Luna didn't physically age at all.
Wonderful ending. But it still bugs me to this day that we haven’t seen a glimpse of how Celestia and Luna are doing in Silver Shoals, or how Cadence and Shining Armor are doing in the Crystal Empire, or what the remaining members of the Six Pillars are up to as well. Does this have to do with the sacrifice of immortality and they either passed away or retired? All we have now is a grown up Flurry Heart ruling the Crystal Empire and royal guard, based off the image of her on one of the windows??
The pillars are dead because that is far in the future of Equestria. Edit: not sure about Princess Celestia and Luna. Cadence, I'm mostly sure that she still helps out at the Crystal Empire with her daughter, Flurry Heart. Shining armor made have aged and retired from Captain of the royal Guard.
I didn't have many friends when i was a child. The few i had were fake, dropped me, left me. I only discovered true friendship through this series. I still start to cry when i hear their songs singing about true friendship. They were my friends! For me they will never be dead. They will never be gone. They will always live in my heart. And i will watch this series till i die.
I think Rarity just had a business trip to her Yakyakistan boutique. She must have a lot of them in Equestira and be mega-rich. It's a shame it isn't known if she found a husband. She really wanted one throughout the series. Would a beautiful, successful pony like her as an old maid? I just don't want to imagine that.
I think its just a case of her being one of those who attracted a lot of stallions, but never could find "the right one". Part of it was her own blame and part of it was her business may have been at fault. A lot of career women leave finding a husband too later or too busy for time. But Rarity was always after the "white horse prince" and every guy she sought affection from was far from ideal.
I personally like the idea of Rarity being a career mare. The stallions she did find attractive wanted nothing to do with her and who is to say she can't be happy with her career? Your statement reeks of the 1950s when women HAD to find a husband.

We saw briefly what happened to them in the Mane in IDW's "My little Pony" (Generation 5) Issue 2, where Discord tells Sunny and her friends how everything in Equestria fell apart after Opaline put a wedge between the three pony tribes. What I find disappointing is that the Young Six were unable to maintain relationships between the creatures, or perhaps they planned to get all of them away from the gaggle of quarrelling ponies.

I know that Opaline had a hand in it, but there had to be some point during her rule where Twilight decided it would be better for ponies to live separate from each other, forget about the other creatures, and allow countless years of history to be forgotten or twisted into propaganda. A detail I love with this episode is that Scootaloo's wings remained foal wing sized. It never really was explained or addressed _why_ she couldn't fly as a filly, despite the fact that all fillies and colts her age had wings of the same size. Now at least her disability is better recognizable and understandable.

That's effectively (temporarily) curing her arthritus- he could chaotically cure all the ailments of age that actually *cause* death, even if he didn't remove the aging itself.

I don't believe that Twilight outlived her friends. I say she made Luster Dawn her successor and gave up her immortality to die with them. And before anyone says anything about G5 thats an AU to me, doesn't line up with the series finale with Twilight still being in her old form.

I still cry when I hear the final song and see video's about the end. The show helped me with my depression. And the fandom helped me to find my passion as well as good friends.
Man, this is so sad this is the ending for ever this was my childhood it's so sad this was the last episode this did made me cry, at the sometime all the characters get the happy ending and that makes me happy too. My Little Pony will be missed by all, i love them all.😢❤

If they have made it 100% cannon, a lot of shippers would’ve been furious that their ship is not canon. But since they left the ship up for interpretation, everyone is satisfied with the finale, no matter if their ship is “canon” or not. But if they bring the main six back for whatever reason. They will have to make a decision of making this ship canon or not, and no matter what they decide, people are not going to be happy.

From what I heard from other RUclipsrs making videos, apparently the makers of G4 said Twilight won't outlive her friends. That means she either gives up her immortality/alicorn aging (if they can eventually grow old and die, even if it takes a few 1000 years) or her friends become immortal/long living along with her. Or, like the Pillars, they get trapped in somewhere where time stops Oh and you didn't mention the detail of Scootaloo's wings. They are still tiny.
I heard a rumor that Hasbro is making a spinoff series named My Little Pony friendship: After. It’s based in G4 and Lauren Faust herself is spearheading the project. And the show should premiere after the ending of the dumpster fire we know as G5. Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if that becomes the new G6.

I think the ending of everyone is well-chosen and also fitting to the charakter well. I don't think Rainbow Dash and Applejack are a couple. They are just best friends. I rather think Applejack is still living on the farm, I mean, her destiny is to run the Sweet Apple Acres farm. It sure is a pity that we don't know what happned to Cadance, Shining Armor and Flurry Heart. Spike does look diffrent but like natural grown-up dragon. And just similar like he always imagined it. I guess, Starlight and Sunburst are the heads of the school of friendship and Silverstream, Smolder and Ocellus are teachers there just like the CMCs. I think all charakters have great endings which fit them well. I'm just a bit sad, that the series ended.
Everyone got the major glow up treatment to which yes it does make you feel old the moment you realize but hey it’s been a while since 2019 13YO and I am 2024 18YO got the best of it so couldn’t agree more with this episode as a great conclusion! much like Amphibia , Rebels & TCW , Gravity Falls etc really.

@@FireCat34 I think so too. But I believe the reason why they left it up for interpretation is because Rainbow Dash is the most shipped character in the series.
If they have made it 100% cannon, a lot of shippers would’ve been furious that their ship is not canon.
But since they left the ship up for interpretation, everyone is satisfied with the finale, no matter if their ship is “canon” or not.
But if they bring the main six back for whatever reason. They will have to make a decision of making this ship canon or not, and no matter what they decide, people are not going to be happy.

From what I heard from other RUclipsrs making videos, apparently the makers of G4 said Twilight won't outlive her friends. That means she either gives up her immortality/alicorn aging (if they can eventually grow old and die, even if it takes a few 1000 years) or her friends become immortal/long living along with her. Or, like the Pillars, they get trapped in somewhere where time stops

I heard a rumor that Hasbro is making a spinoff series named My Little Pony friendship: After. It’s based in G4 and Lauren Faust herself is spearheading the project.
And the show should premiere after the ending of the dumpster fire we know as G5.
Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if that becomes the new G6.

The version of Spike we see in the final main run episode of FiM is a "teenage" Spike. Adult (Full Grown) Spike is alive and well in Maretime Bay in My Little Pony: A New Generation, which is set in a fairly distant future of the MLP world. There are NUMEROUS direct references to the 2010 MLP, including appearances by Twilight Sparkle via holographic projection.

I don't think Rainbow Dash and Applejack are a couple. They are just best friends. I rather think Applejack is still living on the farm, I mean, her destiny is to run the Sweet Apple Acres farm.
It sure is a pity that we don't know what happned to Cadance, Shining Armor and Flurry Heart.
Spike does look diffrent but like natural grown-up dragon. And just similar like he always imagined it.
I guess, Starlight and Sunburst are the heads of the school of friendship and Silverstream, Smolder and Ocellus are teachers there just like the CMCs.
I think all charakters have great endings which fit them well. I'm just a bit sad, that the series ended.

Everyone got the major glow up treatment to which yes it does make you feel old the moment you realize but hey it’s been a while since 2019 13YO and I am 2024 18YO got the best of it so couldn’t agree more with this episode as a great conclusion! much like Amphibia , Rebels & TCW , Gravity Falls etc really.

you do realize that the comics tells you what happened right before twilight put all the magic in the unity crystals because there's a page where a hologram of rainbow Dash tells us what happens. she even mentions she lives with aj on sweet apple acres.
