If you buy at an AT&T store they have to charge a $25 activation fee, even if you are already on AT&T so they suggested I buy elsewhere or AT&T online. So I ordered from Best Buy and picked up in store. When I looked up the specs of the Zmax2 vs. my Moto G 4G LTE (XT1045) they use the same processor but the ZTE has twice the RAM and Internal Storage. Neither will set the world on fire, but come on a phone with 5.5" screen for $80!
Great review Lisa. I picked up one for my mother in-law and she had no problems using it and she didn't complain even though she previously had a Samsung. I think more companies should build phones at this price range.

These phones have the latest att bloatware so you don't need to worry about having to much room for apps because you get plenty of bloatware updates which you are guaranteed not to use or your money back.

I have the regular zte and it is truly an awesome phone, I had the high end expensive phones but to me this one is much better.. Battery lasts forever and a good bit of storage. Never had any problems with it, does not buffer when watching movies or videos, plays twitch flawlessly. And had no drop calls so far had the phone 2 years. The only gripe i have is the volume and picture quality, video quality is pretty good though. The volume it seems a bit low but still its good at the level it gets, could be just me i am getting old now lol. The original was 249.99 when I bought it, so $99.00 is not bad at all.

I have this phone and I paid 155.00 for mine. I think I got screwed. This is also the 3rd phone that I've had because the first two got so HOT that I could hardly touch them. At&T sells the phone but doesn't carry any cases or covers for the glass. It's a shame that AT&T can sell them but not have anything to cover it so when you drop it by accident, the glass smashes into tiny shards and they can't replace it. I've talked to a couple different places that repair these phones but I'd have to order the glass cover and still pay anywhere from 75 - 120 bucks to get it fixed. Can anyone help me?

Yes! I have an iPhone 4s I still use as it docks to my stereo. The 4s is just so small now, larger screens make any type of viewing easier. 4s still has better camera IMHO, but I still really like the Zmax2

A warranty whereby the best you're going to get after buying a defective new phone is a "like new" one.

I had a 5s and the reason that I got rid of it was because I had no way of upping the memory on it. I have noticed no difference other than the huge size difference. The one thing that I was disappointed in was the claim to being able to put a SD card larger than a 32GB. When I purchased and stuck a 64GB in the phone said that it was not compatible up to that size. Other than that I`m glad that I made the switch!

My mother has the ZTE Maven and I have the Asus Zenfone 2E and a Nexus 6. The Zenfone really isn't that bad and the ZTE phone is pretty great.
