Tristyn Bailey Celebration Of Life: • UNCUT: Celebration of ...
February 6th, 2023 - Aiden Fucci changes his plea to guilty of first degree murder.
Aiden Fucci has now been sentenced to life in prison, eligible for review in 25 years.
    The timeline so far:
Sunday, May 9th, 2021 - 10am. St Johns County, Florida. 13 year old Tristyn Bailey is reported missing by her parents. Tragically, after a 16 hour search, her body is found in a wooded area. She has been stabbed 114 times, 49 of the wounds are defensive.
May 10th - Police announce they have 14 year old Aiden Fucci in custody, and he has been arrested for second degree murder
May 11th - Aiden Fucci appears in court and is formally charged with second degree murder.
May 17th - A “motion to withdraw as counsel” is filed by Jacksonville attorney Anwar Snober, who had been retained to represent Aiden. His parents file an application to determine indingency status. Both applications are eventually approved, meaning that Aiden will now be represented by someone from the public defenders office.
May 18th - A celebration of life is held to honor the life of Tristyn Bailey
May 27th - It is announced that Aiden will be charged as an adult as opposed to a juvenile. His charge has been upgraded from second-degree murder to premeditated first-degree murder.
May 28th - Aiden appears before a judge for the first appearance following the announcement that he would be charged as an adult.
June 3rd - Aiden enters a plea of not guilty
June 5th - Aiden's mother, Crystal, is arrested for “tampering with evidence” after she turns herself in to authorities.

Lmfao. Whatever. Go cry somewhere else about your BS.
Some people live lifestyles that make it difficult to tell if they have had a tragic ending like this, and aren’t merely off doing their own thing. People like street workers, or drug addicted homeless people (for example). Oftentimes such peopIe usually lack family being in their lives (or even actual friends) that would know if their missing, to call in right away, etc.
Sometimes it’s a case of crying wolf. Say a difficult/manipulative boy runs away from home all the time because he tries to make his parents worry/feel guilt when the boy doesn’t get his way on something, out of entitlement, but he always ends up coming home within a few days...
However, in the meantime the police wasted a bunch of time and resources in trying, but failing, to find him until the boy came back on his own. Others in need of help in the community were getting put on the back burner if their issue wasn’t as big of a priority. The police are going to get fed up with taking such early action, time and again, so they’ll wait longer than normal before they begin getting super serious/worried for the kid the next time he goes missing.
It all depends on the situation. Sometimes it can be about police being understaffed in a big city, so unless there is a certain amount of very worrisome clues that indicate foul play (versus someone merely being out & about, living as a free adult), the police are going to have no choice but to wait that minimum 24 hours before declaring someone missing to begin the search, etc.
_And the “defund the poIice” movement isn’t helping in situations like that at all._
Finally, there is the fact that the police have the law they have to abide by, which can require warrants and such that holds them back from proceeding until certain tasks are able to be accomplished.

I'm not comfortable with that either but I'm not sure that a 14 year old should be charged as an adult, either. Because a 14 year old isn't an adult- not mentally, socially or psychologically. This definitely goes beyond "doing something stupid" but the fact is that children aren't mature and don't have the same mindset or world view as an adult. I've often thought that in cases of murder, they should still try them as juveniles but raise the release age to something like 30 or even 40. People tend to be completely different as adults due to life experience and having a widening world view as they age.

As a 14 year old he understand what alcohol do /cigarettes / and other stuff and still you are not allowed to buy them as a 14 year old. I believe that boy never got told *no* and when he did get told no he would throw a hissy fit till he got his way. This *Mom* has covered his butt time and time again, he's never known the consequences for bad behavior. She has gone so far as wash the bloody jeans he was wearing and now is charged with evidence tampering. I'm not a shrink or anything, but from the selfie he took in custody, especially with the caption, the bragging to friends that he was going to kill someone, the absolutely uncontrolled viciousness of the murder (the amount of stab wounds), the way he just walked away from the crime, and the way he only showed emotion when he was faced with consequences for his actions leads me to think he's a sociopath or psychopath. In no way am I trying to make his behavior acceptable, but it helps me to try and find a why. I'll be interested to see what Tristyn's parents say in court. With cases like this I always think the parents of the victim should be able to weigh in on sentencing, not so far as to release him in 10 years or anything, it should still remain within the boundaries of what is recommended, but I don't know, it's just every parents worst nightmare, isn't it? Not everyone who gets charged with something is guilty of it, take for example the mother of the ACCUSED (because until a jury comes back saying he is guilty he is innocent.) a parent is in a privileged position over a child and is not required to testify against her son, more over, washing blood off her son's cloths. Let's say you were mom, you kid comes home with what looks like deep brownish red stains on the cloths, you have never personally seen that much blood do you assume your 14 year old committed a murder? So is mom guilty of anything more that being as mother? Keep in mind, she has the parent-child privilege act of 2003 that protects some of her rights in testifying against her children. I am not encouraging it, but, as a parent would you really assume you child is a murderer? I have two kids and it would be pretty damn hard to convince me they were. But I agree with you people can be ignorant.

A week ago I went in to wake up my daughter. She wasn't there. The next several hours were the scariest of my life. I just kept thinking about Tristan, and knowing it can happen to anyone. We found my daughter, and I'm greatful every day. I'm so so so sorry to Tristan family, her mother and father. I wish I could change what happen to your baby. I'm so sorry

My guess is that the camera was mounted on a living room ceiling or something, and the camera had in it’s view the doorway to the bathroom - she was washing the jeans with the door open. I highly doubt that they had a camera inside of the bathroom itself.

I just look at him in the camera and he’s just SO young. I wonder how his parents are feeling.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad they decided to charge him as an adult, he deserved it but jeez he’s just a baby. How could such a young child be so evil already? The world hasn’t even gotten STARTED with him yet!
May this sweet girl rest in peace and may her family find some healing and peace of their own 🙏
EDIT: yeah never mind. I guess his mother isn’t feeling much of anything. Guess that answers my second question as well. Jeez

Because humans have lied to themselves into believing that humans are "good and decent". No one is "good" we are all capable of hurting each other, some hurting like that kid in the video.

I never thought of that as a possible punishment, but since it's Florida it seems highly appropriate in this case. Then someone at the scene of execution can later do a Snapchat with the peace sign and say, "Has anyone seen Aiden lately?"

My goodness this one really got to me. It’s so hard to imagine what goes on in such a young mind that would lead to that type of violent outburst. But now one child is dead and his life is over before it ever begun.
I was watching his eyes dart around wildly before he choked back his tears. I wondered if he was coming to the realization of what he’d done, or if it was just the realization of what is to become of his life now
